  1. Well hopefully they enjoy the rest of the game even if they aren't nuzlocking it. To be honest I'd be fine if they took a hiatus to start a new penta-op so they aren't suffering for another 100, hour long episodes.
  2. I normally agree with them on a decent amount of things but they shouldn't expect to be spoonfed everything in the game. It's not "bullshit" cause this isn't the first time it has happened, you have to prepare for the unexpected. This especially bothers me because it contradicts with Nappy's statement in his Dark Rising rant where he talks about not wanting to be spoiled, how he can come up against challenges that he faces and that's what he wants.
  3. I agree with what Nappy was saying with his wish to play the games he wants to, even if it was primarily about Dark Rising in specific, it can apply to this too. While I think the mercy rules they have in place will work for a bit, they do need something cause twit has like no alive pokemon. Hopefully they take note of all the other suggested mercy rules.
  4. Mo's audio clipping was kinda scary but besides that this episode was pretty funny, especially Nexus's stubbornness with the ASMR shit. I don't think Bennett will be the problem, but I can guarantee the mirror field will mess them up real badly. Praying for the boys.
  5. For me it would have to be double battle Amaria, I had to drastically change my team to be able to finally beat her. I never tried to change the field to rainbow with sunny day so maybe that would've helped but I didn't have the foresight to try. But since this is so late in the game I had ready access to good counters like Rotom-W and Pelipper. While I benifitted off the terrain switching in Shade's gym due to Magneton (which you can't get this early in the game anymore I'm pretty sure, I think it got moved to the route 3 caves), getting dragged underwater here was really rough if you weren't prepared. Close second or possible tie would have to be Aya because at this point in the game the best counters I had were Medicham and other poison types like Garbodor and Weezing. I really struggled with the additional status on this terrain (No one should have to put up with sludge wave freeze lol). I personally never had any struggles with Titania as she gets hard countered by her own ace, being Aegislash. But if that wasn't the case I definetly would have had a rough time.
  6. I'm just going to assume that all of this will be explained in the next episode, but it probably won't be a super straightforward answer at that. I have faith though that it will be explained reasonably, I doubt it will be something ridiculous. But I also subconsciously wasn't bothered by Shade's otherworldly powers as much as Lin's.

    Masquerain?

Masquerain can be rather useful for the second and third gyms with access to intimidate, decent speed and special attacks and a typing that isn't really touched by the pokemon on these two teams. Sadly after this it falls out of use, as it is just outclassed by other flying types like noivern, and especially by yanmega (which I believe is found on Azurine Island) (Sidenote, in any other game Masquerain could do just fine, but past the first few gyms, the game just gets harder with pokemon that have coverage and EV training, which can take advantage of Masquerain's frail nature. Most will be able to OHKO it so it won't even be able to set up a Quiver Dance.)
  8. Cool deal, godspeed with dex completion!
  9. Alright request sent, I don't know if names are case-sensitive or not so sorry if so I'll have to reset.
  10. Turns out I only have a Stoutland, do you mind if a breed you the Lillipup real quick?
  11. I can hook you up with one, I just need to switch saves real quick and I'll be ready when you are.
  12. I can get behind their standpoint of not wanting the nuzlocke to end with boss mons that they can just not predict. But at the point where some people only have one member on their team due to a clause where it can't die, that's a little ridiculous. I can also see why they wouldn't want to play through this game just normally, because of how long it would take to do everything. Nonetheless I'm probably enjoying this more than any other penta-op to date. (P.S. my bets that either Nexus or Jay will go crazy over Luna)
  13. So I very well know that most trainers in this game will have EV training done, but I'm curious as to at what point I should start actually worrying about it. If anyone knows when all important trainers are max EV'd I'd be grateful.
  14. I have read somewhere that the legendaries available in the next episode will be dependent on the path we take/our reputation with certain characters. So will I have to make a new file of the game to obtain all the legendaries?

    hi

I'm rather uncomfortable talking about myself and though I have been here for like two weeks now, I never got around to making an introduction thread. I feel bad posting a thread if I'm just gonna ramble so time to get to the introduction. When it comes to interests, diverse and new arts of all kind really interest me, such as music I've never heard before, or whatever it may be I love to try it out! The only other real hobby to me is that I've been big into the Tekken scene in the past few years, and through that I've met some new friends which is nice. Whenever I'm not focusing on school business or my hobbies, I spend my time helping out cats at the local animal shelter. While even though I generally keep to myself, if I get to know people that is where I am truly happy. Anyone this place seems like a very kind, tight-knit community and hopefully I fit in here well.
  18. It only took me two tries with strong set up mons that compliment eachother. Sand teams run house on this with an array of strong steel types like excadrill, magnezone, and aegislash. Other than that just pokemon that can straight outspeed and outkill like a garchomp and any flying/levitate user can be extremely useful. Also contrary serperior is one of the best pokemon in game, as getting at least two leaf storms off in battle can be a victory if you have a good complimenting pokemon, like garchomp, as serperior resists his eq.

    Beat Terra

I know you've already figured it out but for future reference just treat this like gen 1 and you'll probably be good. Strong water types like gastrodon can wall just about everything on her team except palossand and maybe garchomp. I'd also watch out for nidoking as that amnesia is deadly in this gen. At the same time if you have an amnesia user of your own you'd be fine. Alakazam is a solid pick for taking out nidoking though, and also it being in the glitch field gives alakazam a crazy high special defense.
  20. The character I generally connected to the most would be Taka, his struggles generally stemmed from an interior struggle between his respect and belief that he should follow in his father's direction, even if he disagrees with it, and the fact that he wants to go his own path even if it means disappointing those he cares about. Many of the decisions he made seemed rather half-hearted as he really believed that what he was doing was wrong, but he stuck around out of fear of what might happen, which I personally struggle with tons. In a game full of characters that actually have character to them Taka really stood out to me.
  21. those last few deaths are stacked as hell jesus, speaks volumes about the difficulty of trying to beat this nuzlocked.
