Once you start a search, there's a second tab in the new window called "Member Search." It would be much easier if the search categories were unified though, I agree.

Ampharos and Sceptile do nothing to address the issues Penelope is having (Fairy and Ice spam) and would just never be used over Altaria outside of some bizarre counterteam. There's no point giving any leader something like this unless it achieves something. Yes, it's mostly just for testing a new system to reward people besides only the people who would win every tourny. There's only been two raffles so far, and they both happened to be in Late Session, and we are bringing them to Early as well. The system certainly needs some work, and we might try some different ideas to see what works best. If the leaders want help with teams, that's all their choice. Rewarding players so hard just for something like this doesn't feel right, to me at least. And that's another issue, if the players build the team, they'll know exactly what the team is capable of and how to counter it (perfect speed EVs etc) and if the leader changes their team to best prepare for specific challengers, that's the definition of counter-teaming, which is kind of taboo around here or something. Some leaders might need to counterteam to an extent in order to provide challenge on a player-by-player basis since sometimes using the same team all day sometimes doesn't go very well when players later in the queue are scouting the match prior.

In "old Reborn" the auth didn't really have to follow any rules. If they wanted you gone, they would just mute or kick you, there was no Clarice. "Auth abuse" was much more common then, but everyone was closer so it was more often comical than anything else. If someone had a problem with someone else, they'd call them out, settle it, and we'd usually move on... usually, not always, drama was still a thing then, but at least people were vocal enough to deal with it again. People weren't as... fragile as they are now. Now there's so many people in-and-out, no one's really close anymore. Also a big part is that Reborn shifted from being a server-based community to a forum-based one, I feel. There isn't as much face-to-face conversing as it is post and wait for a slow methodical response days later.

Trick Room and Weather I'm not too worried about, since I can reliably drag them out with constant switches (Intimidate) plus AVs Fake Out x2 and Wide Guard for extra security. Screens are okay with all of this damage reduction going on, but there's really no room to add them. Pory2 is annoying if I can't Knock Off (Krook) it before letting Tsa or Top beat it down. If its not carrying Tbolt, Gyarados can set up in its face and sweep, but knowing Elliot... hm. You think there's anywhere I could fit Toxic maybe?

From one grumpy old man to another, it's good to see some of the oldies still hanging on. The community's change over the years can get a bit disheartening, especially with all of the new people who don't know what this server once was. I don't blame them for not knowing what we used to be like, it's just ignorance, not stupidity. More than anything, I think the biggest change to this community was the Reborn Game, which took away a lot of the work force in the community. Before that, the server was super-involved, between the League, the backchannel groups, and various server events (PZA, Nations, etc) that ended with less-than-desired results. Now, the people who made this community what it is feel so distant. The whole "avoiding drama instead of facing it" thing is really annoying though. The problem is that some people take it too far and just go out into personal attacks rather than addressing issues in a healthy manner, or that some people shy away at the slightest instance of conflict, so rather than facing the issue they just "can we not rn pls?" But, this is the auth's community, and they do with it as they see fit. We've voiced our concerns before, and (at least I've) seen little to no results from this. The only things we can do is suck it up and do nothing, keep struggling until something gets done... or follow the examples of several others members and just pack up and go. Now I know no one wants to leave here, at least half of the members who've "quit" have come back at some point, and if you've stayed here as long as some of us, you don't want to leave the place you've put so much time into. This is our home.

To elaborate on this reasoning a bit... Mono Dragon suffers the worst "Feast or Famine" play style of any monotype (yes, even more than Fire), which is quite unhealthy for any game in excess. Meaning either she sets up and sweeps you hard (Feast), or you bring a Fairy/Ice type and curb-stomp her (Famine) as Mono Dragon has 0 safe switch-ins for these types (Dragalge and Turtonator aren't favorable choices for obvious reasons). For this, X Zard would be a net for her, so to speak, so she has a more reliable way to combat Fairies and Ice types specifically. Now of course, X Zard is a powerful DD sweeper of its own, so this would also make her "feast" moments even stronger, which is really hard for us to keep in check given Mono Dragon's insane number of set-up sweepers. Normally, this kind of issue can be remedied with the unpredictability of Doubles and Triples, and while this safely tones down the "Feast" moments, it actually does very little to stop the "Famine" moments. With one Trick Room user (Exeggutor) one awkward Wide Guard user (Turtonator) and missing several other strong utilities(Fake Out, Quick Guard, Prankster) Mono Dragon has to rely on Tailwind (or occasionally Rain) to have any upper-hand in Triples. Another option for this is to let Penelope go all-out on counter-teaming against these weaknesses which is... not fun or fair really. I'm not even sure it would remedy her main issues at all. For Helen (Mono Rock) and Mega Aggron, her type was in constant "Famine" with little to no "Feast" moments, so it was slightly different than this case. Mega Aggron helped cover Mono Rock's several weaknesses and give breathing room to let the rest of the type shine. TLDR; X Zard would make Pene's weaker moments much stronger but also make her stronger moments a little bit stronger too.

Some fixes to Zebstrika

Like I said, keeping an eye out for other broken things. Arena Trap's on the watchlist OU = Pokebank OU, so yes, it includes non-alola things.

There's a new tier on Reborn Showdown called Reborn OU (courtesy of @Swimming95) The tier is virtually identical to Gen 7 OU, but since Smogon's been slow on their OU balancing, we took a few preemptive steps forward: BANLIST Greninja Pheromosa Tapu Lele Metagrossite Now, there's little point laddering this because being an "unofficial tier" means that it won't sync globally to all of Showdown, but don't let that stop you from enjoying the tier without fearing these obnoxious tyrants of the tier. Enjoy~ We'll keep an eye out for anything else that's ruining the tier, so the banlist is subject to change. Let us know if anything else sticks out as a problem below.
