I'm with Anti. There's no reason to kill off a harmless TP when we have a much better chance at randomly lynching a Mafia. But we don't have to be random at all, we can weed out the scum through their actions. It sounds like Chocolates have positive effects based on alignment. If simple enough, I believe this means that if a Town gives one to another Town, then it will be good. But if a Mafia gives one to a Town, it will be bad. Etc. If that is indeed the case, let's use this as a scum test. [Friendship Chocolate] Alisae Shouldn't be a problem since we're both Townies, right? If you suspect me for being a Mafia, you can just refuse, then I'll suggest @Lord Drakyle to scum test this way, since he's a guaranteed Townie. Lose-Lose if you're a Mafia, Win-Win if you're a Townie.

[GAME OVER] Shining Bright: Survivor

@sosobean that was a typo, I had it mixed up. Virgo may either deal 2 damage to someone or heal 2 HP from themselves. Only one of these -

Welcome, mortals, to our celestial battlefield! Over the next several days, the very stars themselves shall fight for survival. The God of Gods, Zeus, has appointed me his messenger and announcer for this spectacle. If there are any general questions on the matter, please ask. You may ask in this thread, or PM me here on the Forums, or on Discord (@Bazaro#5052). Speaking of Discord, why not check out the Reborn Mafia Discord chat? https://discord.gg/ccc2tjE So just what is Mafia? What makes this game so special? Why are the stars killing each other, you may ask? Well......... Without further ado, please welcome our Constellar Combatants! Here are the rules of the battleground. Even war has rules, you know! Each Night, every player has one action. They may choose to either: Visit another player and Attack them. They can only choose this option if their role has an Attack action. Guard themselves. Guarding protects the user from all damage taken from the first player to Attack you this Night. Guarding has high priority, as it is always first. Do nothing. I can't say I recommend this option, but it's available nonetheless. Few roles have Abilities, which may also be used each Night, but do not count as Night Actions. At the beginning of each Day, I will randomly select one of the surviving roles. At the end of the Day, all players who voted for that role will receive a 1 damage Shield the following Night that protects the player from damage. The Shield is increased to 2 if that player gets Lynched. Think of it as extra Health. Each Day, players will vote on another player they want to be Lynched. After relatively 48 hours have passed, the Day will end and the player with the most votes will be Lynched. If there is a tie in votes, no one will be Lynched. Abstaining from voting is permitted. The player who gets Lynched takes 2 damage and has their role announced for all to see, even if this does not kill them. After the Lynch, the game moves into Night Phase. At this point, the order for all roles that have an Attack action will be randomized. All Attack actions performed that Night will be performed in that order. This happens every Night. Players may not willingly visit themselves. That's just weird. At the end of each Night phase, players will be informed: - If their Attack action was successful. - The player's remaining HP and Shield. - If their Guard was broken or not. - If they were Poisoned. - If they were turned into the Phoenix. - If they died. Remember; No news is usually good news! This game will start on Night 0. Yes, Forum Rules still apply. There are no factions or behind-the-scenes chat groups. All game-related conversation will take place in this Forum thread, or in Private Messages with only me. Rules may be added or amended. I will make sure everyone knows if this occurs. If you're interested, feel free to sign up below. If you have any questions about anything relating to this, don't be afraid to ask. Star light, Star bright, the last Star we see tonight... One accusation in and we're... here? At this rate, it's just going to take up a full page, so I'd like to get this game back on track. Ticktock. Soso claimed cop to be mischievous as part of Alisae's plan. He said that Drakyle was Town which was already revealed to be true. It's just the Bean being the Bean. Maybe it's just too early in the game, but I feel like a lot of people who usually talk a lot are keeping quiet. Kinda spooky if you ask me This next message basically confirms whoever is doing this is Mafia. Among who spoke up, they probably won't kill you (unless you have an extremely anti-Mafia role like a Cop or Vigilante) and will focus the Townies they think would be those kind of roles. If they aren't Mafia, they're still a potentially dangerous TP. I have a habit of keeping track of peoples' speech/typing patterns, so unless this person is a master forger, it's safe to eliminate a few suspects based on style alone. Here's what I have: Paul Seal Roswell ECT Corso Candy Sosobean DigitalAmber Amine Castiel Now the roster has barely changed from before, but I did notice the message was a slightly different style, most likely an attempt to prevent themselves from being read by that. Please, send us more messages~

Of course if we're wrong on this, you're first on the radar Alisae. You started the cop suggestion (which wasn't necessarily a bad idea, but in practice it'd go horrible here) and pushed Quinn to this. You established towncred for yourself by being the first major voice to oppose the messaging. It makes sense if you're town, but I wouldn't be surprised if you were a maf after all this, either. I can wait, though.

Burn Amine at the stake for voting me >:( Whoever asked the messages sent them to our roles, not our players. They sent a different message to each player to figure out which role was which player. To whoever gave the messages aloud, congratulations. Not too trusting of Castiel now, since he seemed to read the Quinn situation, but seemed to forget the several parts where we said the messages were dangerous? That could be because he is a fellow Mafia, being told it's okay to tell that message because everyone else is doing it. It would also convince more players it's okay to do just that, and get as much information as they can from this, assuming it's a one-shot. He'll play as a confused townie regardless after this post, but that's my thought process on this. I'm not very trusting of Quinn myself, a lot of it fits. I'll change my vote if I need to, but please convince me I'm wrong first. [Vote] Quinn

Everyone's different too, so they probably visited only our role names. This way, they can connect players to their role names... but can they actually learn what each role can do? This seems pretty useless on its own, so if I had to guess this is a mafia role used to gather large amounts of information at once, and perhaps there's another role with them that can learn what each role does. Just a hunch, but there's a very big chance this is a mafia ploy.

School just started for me, less time to do anything. Asking for people to vote for me D1 was just me having fun, if that's suspicion-worthy then idk. I didn't push anything. Like we said, whoever gets the title doesn't really matter I am not bandwagoning; I made my own decisions based on the arguments I saw in each Day. Just because I agreed doesn't mean I didn't read. Now, with that out of the way... Accusing people based solely on voting both times is incredibly foolish. Of course the Mafia will spread out their votes, especially when Townies get themselves lynched. There's no reason for them to dogpile onto these people when both cases have been one-sided votes. Instead of looking to the people who voted these people, we need to look for the people who started these pushes. We can safely exclude everyone who's already dead for obvious reasons. A thing I've noticed is about the night kills. Both of the victims were generally animated characters known to be slightly chaotic. I wonder if there's a method to this, perhaps they're trying to keep a serious debate going because the Mafia knows they can control a situation like this? It doesn't seem like the right kinds of targets to me. Maybe it's just a coincidence. 1 - Venus Always the star of the show, always butting heads, but never contributing much. He talks a lot, but often goes on strange tangents (not out of character) before flipping serious for a moment then back again. 3 - Alistair Not much to say, pretty good contributions, though a bit too uptight... 4 - Lykoshand Everyone seems suspicious of Lykos based on his awkward phrasing. I see a lot of people wanting his head, but perhaps they just want to start a bandwagon? 5 - DigitalAmber Has very short bursts of activity. Strongly pushes for Town goals, almost too strongly. 7 - Amine Chankey3ft7 Fairly inactive, follows bandwagon. 9 - NickCrash Assuming it is just inexperience in scumhunting, then he's an easy townread. 10 - Meteor Ace Divergent Very controlling this game, aggressive reads heavily leaning towards town. 13 - Paul25 Few posts, though his reads seem genuine. I won't cross out the possibility. -

The "you don't have enough evidence" plea doesn't work here, Newt. We have almost no hard evidence at all in this game anyways, since night actions are limited enough. We -have- to kill someone, and with no one giving any information, we have to go with our lead suspect. A lot of people scum-read Lykos, yet Newt completely glossed over that bit. Might be evidence, might be a coincidence. Also very jumpy on his votes, between FoS, successor and elimination. [Eliminate] Newt -

Not the bean... I got nothin. Lots of anti-maf stuff today -
With the crowning of this season's first Champion, and several other challengers approaching the finish line, it's time to break out the X-League. To those that do not already know, X-League is a second run through the league with much fewer restrictions, such as Uber legendaries. Let's get into it. Banlist: The following items: Red Orb*, Blue Orb*, Necroznium-Z The following moves: Geomancy Mega Rayquaza nuff sed Everything not mentioned is permitted, including Z-Moves, banned Mega Stones, and all the Uber legends. Z moves are items, people. Leaders: Still monotype duh. Follow same banlists as above, except for * marked stuff (Red Orb and Blue Orb). You'll be fine. Challenging: Queues run the same way as regular League, though X-League is typically pushed to the end of that leader's queue, as per their request. Challenges will be held in X-League tiers. There are no brackets in X-League, thus you can challenge any of the leaders (including Oliver) in any order. Still only 1 battle a day. Signups: To enter X-League, you need to have defeated all 18 leaders of the regular League in any season of Redemption. Challengers will be allowed to completely rebuild their team of 7 Pokemon. You may have 1 Uber Legendary if you want. Aside from that, you may have 2 of the legendaries normally permitted in Redemption. Check the banlist there (keep in mind the mid-season update) Sign-ups will be posted in this thread below.

Hi my schedule got opened thanks to the American Government system. Trolling can be a strategy, especially if it's to provoke people. People are much more likely to make mistakes and say things they don't want to when they're angry, so emotional manipulation is definitely a viable strategy in a game like this. Anything goes as long as you win, right? What happens in these games stays in these pages anyways, and no one should carry anything from this outside of here. And like mentioned, it can be used to derail conversations away from important topics like right now. That said, I can't say for sure who's what at this point. RNG hates my guts so I know better than to leave lynch to that, so I'm gonna [Eliminate Jace] sorry bud EDIT: Typed wrong name oops
