Since the recent re-upload of Spork 8 was available last Sunday, I've taken the time to test out each and every functions that Debug Mode has to offer. However, there are some features that can crash the game (and consequently close the game).
1. Switches: Don't Crash (I guess this is something to not be tampered with unless you have RPG Maker to view the events that involve those control switches.)
2. Variables: Don't Crash (I guess this is something to not be tampered with unless you have RPG Maker to view the events that involve those variables.)
3. Refresh Map: Don't Crash
4. Warp to Map: Don't Crash (though you might be positioned in a way that make you stuck in certain areas).
5. Heal Party: Don't Crash
6. Add Item: Don't Crash
7. Fill Bag: Don't Crash
8. Empty Bag: Don't Crash
9. Add Pokemon: Don't Crash
10. Fill Storage Boxes: Will Crash the Game! (No specific reason why, but it happened a few seconds after I selected this)
11. Clear Storage Boxes: Don't Crash (This will wipe out ALL of your Pokemon in the PC, so don't click this feature unless you know what you're doing!)
12. Use PC: Don't Crash
13. Set Player Character: Don't Crash
14. Rename Player: Don't Crash
15. Randomise Player ID: Don't Crash
16. Change Player Outfit: Don't Crash
17. Set Money: Don't Crash
18. Set Coins: Don't Crash
19. Set Badges: Don't Crash
20. Give Demo Party: Don't Crash (However, the moment you select this option will override your current party, so you better put some Pokemon in your PC before you do that. Unfortunately, one of your Pokemon will be overwritten regardless. Do not save your game if it happens.)
21. Toggle Running Shoes Ownership: Don't Crash
22. Toggle Pokegear Ownership: Don't Crash
23. Toggle Pokedex Ownership: Don't Crash
24. Dex List Accessibility: Don't Crash
25. Ready Phone Rematches: Don't Crash
26. Manage Mystery Gift: Don't Crash
27. Day Care Options: Don't Crash
28. Quick Hatch: Don't Crash
29. Roaming Pokemon Status: Don't Crash
30. Advance Roaming: Don't Crash
31. Set Encounters: Will Crash the Game! (Without Encounters.txt your edits won't go through. Regardless, pressing X to exit from editing that feature will crash the game, regardless if it was edited or not.)
32. Set Metadata: Will Crash the Game! (Without Metadata.txt your edits won't go through. Regardless, pressing X to exit from editing that feature will crash the game, regardless if it was edited or not.)
33. Set Terrain Tags: Don't Crash (Though editing some of the terrain tags might keep you from progressing the game. I.E. if you change the Waterfall tag, you might not be able to scale waterfalls.)
34. Edit Trainer Types: Will Crash the Game! (Without Trainertypes.txt your edits won't go through. Regardless, pressing X to exit from editing that feature will crash the game, regardless if it was edited or not.)
35. Reset Trainers: Don't Crash
36. Test Wild Battle: Don't Crash
37. Test Double Wild Battles: Don't Crash
38. Test Trainer Battles: Don't Crash
39. Test Double Trainer Battles: Don't Crash
40. Relic Stone: Don't Crash
41. Purity Chamber: Don't Crash
42. Extract Text: Don't Crash
43. Compile Text: Don't Crash
44. Compile Data: Will Crash the Game! (Mostly because the entire PBS files aren't present)
45. Map Connections: Don't Crash* (Even though trying to move around the map connections will cause the error message to pop up, it doesn't close the game)
46. Animation Editor: Don't Crash
47. Debug Console: Don't Crash
48. Toggle Battle Logging: Don't Crash
Out of 48 features, 5 of them will crash and close the game. That is because certain files are missing, and it won't process your edits. For other features that don't crash your game, it may generate things that might be detrimental to your adventure. Now that you are armed with this information, you'll know what to do to not accidently close the game, undoing some of your progress.
(On another note, Rillaboom has Base 85 Speed, not 86...)
