  1. And done! Pokémon Spork Intense Mode has been slightly modified! The scripts is there to overwrite your previous script so that level caps do happen. And even though there is the Trainers file, you will need to compile data. Also, the lack of Reverse Candy or some sort means you may need to debug your team to lower your Pokémon's levels unless you want to deal with disobedience.

Feel free to comment any difficulties from certain battles.

  2. Just letting you all know that I’ve revised the trainers.txt in Pokémon Spork to make some battles harder (mostly the important characters) and fix a few  issues that I didn’t do on the previous submission. Rayquaza isn’t meant to mega evolve in Draga’s battle so I changed Dragon Ascent to Brave Bird. And some of Emily’s Ninetales didn’t have drought. I am testing some trainer battles before I give the A-OK to resubmitting the file. I might as well submit the Scripts.rxdata to hopefully think that the obedience levels are modified.

  3. Pokémon Spork Intense Mode is finally finished. Got 5 more episodes left to upload. I will then delete my older folder and reinstall the new re-uploaded Spork that was just posted yesterday. Luckily, my intense trainer.txt is still there.

Vince has been working on implementing it over on Spork's Club page for quite a while, actually. Though I'll admit that I didn't quite expect it to be done already... 😅

Editing trainers is done by the PBS files of trainer.txt, which I had it posted if you keep scrolling down my profile. There are some things I have to change from that file such as replacing Dragon Ascent to Brave Bird so that’s Rayquaza won’t Mega Evolve and some of Emily’s Ninetales didn’t have drought. You may also have to go to PBS Battler (something called like that on script editor) to adjust the obedience levels.

Some illegal moveset include Head Smash/Brave Bird Aerodactyl and Neo’s Boomburst, so watch out from those! 😄

Sorry for extremely late reply regarding this subject matter. In terms of the so-called Intense Mode, I won’t be able to implement them on original Pokémon Spork. However, the side story called “Forest Guardian” tries to emulate intense battles. Despite lacking Field Effects, some of the major characters’ team roster has a combination of this: benefit from constant weather from overworld, Fakemon (at least two of them so far), STABmon (Eruption Charizard, Boomburst Sylveon, etc), and very few blatantly illegal moves for the sake of countering certain Pokémon (very less likely).

I saw your achievement of your mono-Grass run without items on Rejuvenation intense, which I admire. I am curious if you are able to handle this Pokémon Spork side story.

  4. Good luck on your shiny quest! Since Nancy’s Sylveon has perfect IVs, the only thing you’ll worry about is changing the nature, which you can do for the price of one Heart Scale. And you’ll finally have a shiny competitive Sylveon to be utilized!
  5. I once had 5 Revives, 1 Max Revive, and 5 Hyper Potions. Had a team of fairies due to my mono run. The bulkiest Pokemon I had was a Level 40 Primarina that had around 150 HP and 70+ Defense (not taking about EV, just the actual stats). Struggle dealt around 110-130 damage, but the min damage roll saved me. Kept on healing until Yveltal collapsed.
  6. Did you try looking for that Breeder in the past version of Hiyoshi City? That breeder had a team of six Audinos.
  7. Based on my archived Mono-Fairy run on casual mode Hardest: Venam. Having a LV.20 Brionne against 4 of her level 12-14 Pokémon is difficult. At least a Super Potion and maybe a Potion or two is needed to last. Also Narcissa due to her haunted field reducing the power of Fairy moves, and I didn’t have Flash at the time. Easiest: Multiple leaders such as Marianette, Valerie, Flora, and Puppet Master. Marianette’s Blessed Field makes Sylveon easy to solo against. Valerie’s team is suspectible to Dedenne except for Lanturn, which I had to use Sylveon against. Flora is also easy to deal with as Hyper Voice Sylveon cleans three of her team (and Moonblast gets boosted twice in Bewitched Field), with Mr. Mime dealing against Mega Venusaur. And finally, Pupper Master’s Psychic terrain makes fairy moves powerful (prior to V12, V12 removed the boosts). Primrina swept them due to Moonblast being boosted TWICE (1.2x1.3) and still OHKOs Medicham & Gallade even with Light Screen set up!
  8. Pokémon Spork Intense Mode to be put on hold. Can't fix the error at the moment when battling Cherry.

All right. I’ll make note of that if I find it. I’ll let you know if it’s solved.

Also, I have the trainers.txt file if you keep scrolling down.

Renaming vsbar4 to vsbar46 as well as vstrainer46 seems to do the trick. Thanks!

  9. There were grass patches in EV training rooms in V10 (the earliest I’ve played) and V11. And I meant that the Meltan battles are a lot easier to gain EVs.
  10. Back then when I have to defeat 252 of the same wild Pokémon for EVs. This is actually faster to acquire.
  11. I believe you click on the file and you are asked if you want to save that file. Say yes, and it’s on your documents. You still may have to move that file to the appropriate folder and replace the existing file. Game.rxdata would be in the “Saved Games” folder Map365 should be on “Data” folder And tilesets would be in the “Graphics” folder.
  12. This is the file for Pokémon Spork Intense Mode. As far as level cap goes, you may have to go to RPG Maker to edit the levels given for every badge. I believe it is under PB_Battler or some sort line 2000+. For help setting up, look at one of Amethyst's level cap video, which is helpful visual guide of setting the disobedience factor.

This is NOT the final draft however, but the AI major characters' insane difficulty are covered up to the end of the story (where the credits roll). I haven't edit post game rematches and trivial regular trainers yet.

  13. Following up with your request, I changed Aegislash's nickname. Also, the shiny counterpart was found from the files of Pokémon Rejuvenation. A purple colored sword instead of a red one. Also, I will eventually start my insane mode soon. I just gotta make a 1280x720 picture of Sierran before I begin. I just checked the actual character of her, and trying to find a green color scheme for Aegislash is pretty hard.
  14. A YouTuber makes Leo is about to start a Nuzlocke adventure. Saw his video today!
  15. Yes, I will update them. If you want, you can also send me the Shiny Aegislash forms and I’ll replace the existing ones.
  16. Following up from my previous post showing the level cap, this file contained modified trainers of Pokémon Spork up into the ending. And also the script for level caps. blurb from myself: "So I've played two adventures in Pokémon Spork: one as the fun blind playthrough and one with customized level caps. I think I might be unstoppable...until the day I found some PBS files. With the ability to edit trainers, I made it so that the difficulty is on par with Reborn and Rejuvenation. The lack of field effects is offset by making some Pokémon contain illegal moves. Ranging from Boomburst Pixilate Sylveon to Typhlosion Energy Ball, I'll be hard pressed to find a reliable counter. But I guess that's part of the fun that I'm willing to risk. The file is attached, play at your own risk. And if you have the ability to debug to reduce your Pokémon levels, then you will need to do that over the course of your adventure because you will overlevel! Well, what am I waiting for?! I gotta test this excruciating hard game!" trainers.txt
  17. Did you set the clock to nighttime?
  18. I have yet to connect the dots, but I couldn't get enough of an adventure. I'm planning on recording a third adventure, but with increased difficulty. Updated level caps and a notepad of modified trainer rosters. Intense Mode Rejuvenation style! Some Pokémon may carry an illegal move for the sake of ramping up the difficulty. I will hopefully playtest each and every single important trainers. So far, I got up to badge 1 covered.
  19. This situation gives me similar vibes like Pokémon Reborn. Here's what I think are similar: Reborn: After getting the 9th badge from Luna and you go to Agate City, you cannot go back due to being off-limits for the time being. And you eventually get HM Fly before getting your 13th badge (which you must get before you use Fly). Reborn City is remodeled moments after you beat Ciel. Rejuvenation: After getting the 9th badge from Erick and you hop in the train to Grand Dream City, you cannot go back to Gearen due to the guards stating that they're investigating the failed trainwreck. They'll keep on investigating until you get your 13th badge, and you also get HM Fly from Damien before battling Adam. Except that you can use Fly because you just got Souta's badge. East Gearen City has been remodeled at this time. Oh, and the teleporter was sticking around only on the end of Version 10. I recall Version 11 removed the warp pads.
  20. I was still able to find it in the Water Treatment Center. But first... Did you talk to a NPC in Chrisola Hotel B1F (Casino)? She said she will toss her Coin Case in the drain because she is done with the slot machine (something along the lines). If you do, then the item is there after the conversation even after the sewers are remodeled.
  21. Same here. I've once tried to chat with a NPC in Neo East Gearen City and suddenly the game froze for a while and then said "the script is taking too long". Automatically saves my game, and when I went to reload it, my character froze. Thank goodness there's like 1000+ saves that I've accumulated!
  22. There's also another YouTuber whose username is Ltl Vixen (the icon is Fennekin) who just happened to record Pokémon Spork around the same time I did.
  23. Two parts today due to a pretty long infiltration in Party City!
