  1. Eventually there’s gonna be beta testers to see if everything runs smoothly. I consider this to be almost finished because I look only at the second section instead of the first (the one with Mapping, Story, Eventing, and Sidequests).
  2. So you venture in Zorrialyn Desert and eventually you were told to head over to Alamissa Urben for some kind of mission. While you just got in, you had a somewhat long conversation with Ren, and he gives you items that once belong to Nancy, her Sylveon and Mysterious Black Box. Afterwards, upon closer inspection, you noticed that Sylveon has perfect IVs, 31 IV in all of its stats! Since that supersedes all other Sylveon that you were planning to breed, the next step would be to properly invest in EVs to reach ideal stats. Even though Pokemon Rejuvenation doesn’t have some sort of player-versus-player functionality like the main series games, even perfectly EV training your Pokemon can go a long way to giving you an easier time to deal against various AI trainers - both significant and insignificant ones - because their artificial team of Pokémon could be both IV and EV trained, unlike the main series games, giving AI some from of edge in battle. Keep in mind at this point of the game, you still cannot go back to Gearen City, so going to those spar rooms inside Gearen Laboratory is out of the question. Two of the timesplicer crystal, one near the Blakeory mansion and one near Kugearen City close to the Gym, has been shattered sometime after the moment you hopped into the train departing from West Gearen to Grand Dream City. Here’s an ideal opponent that you would want to defeat to get the desired EV. Obviously, I’d be talking about between the time you got Sylveon from Ren until defeating Adam. If you finished V11, then you would, of course, go anywhere you wish, and the entire post would collapse due to irrelevancy. HP: Audino - Nightmare City (Pokemon Breeder Tempo) - 2 EVs Attack: Bruxish - Grand Dream City - 2 EVs Defense: Sandygast - Route 9 - 1 EV Special Attack: Clauncher - Grand Dream City - 1 EV Special Defense: Mantine - Grand Dream City - 2 EVs Speed: Liepard - Route 9 - 2 EVs Some stats might not be appropriate for a Sylveon, but the option is there nonetheless. About those theee Water Pokemon, you have to encounter them by surfing, and fortunately, there’s a small surfing area to the supposed area where an NPC was turned to stone at this spot. As for switching nature, there’s an facility below Grand Dream City where you give up a Heart Scale and be will switch your current nature to a random one. Since there are 25 kinds of nature, there’s a 4% chance that you can hope to get a desirable one, so you should save your game BEFORE dealing with RNG. Depending on your luck, you could get one before anyone else. I recalled soft resetting for a Calm natured Sylveon, and it took me 10 minutes to eventually get one. My hands almost fed up with pressing buttons on the keyboard. If you’re thinking of a faster method to get EVs while dealing with those targets, you can purchase Power items found on the second floor of the Department Store. You’ll need at least one Department sticker if you want access to the second floor. One I can think of is to do the Kimono Girls sidequest, in which you have to find all seven scattered in the Terrial region. Fortunately, they’re in the range of Route 7, 8, and 9, as well as some important landmarks like Darchlight Forest and Nightmare City. After you found all seven, you return to Rose Theater and endure eight straight battles without resting in between, fighting against every Eeveelutions. Not only you get a Level 5 Shiny Eevee with 20 IVs across the board and an Ice Stone, you talk to one of the NPCs in that same room the kimono girls are at and he’ll give you a sticker. These power items give you 4 more Effort Values of a particular stat that particular Power items gives. Power Bracer - 4 Attack EV Power Belt - 4 Defense EV Power Lens - 4 Special Attack EV Power Band - 4 Special Defense EV Power Anklet - 4 Speed EV Power Weight - 4 HP EV Equipping one of those items can help you EV train faster! Now that we get the stats out of the way, we can look at other aspects of this Pokémon. The original trainer name is Nancy, but the trainer ID is the same as yours. Sylveon is Level 65, so getting it to Level 80 isn’t too far away, since you’ve get Pokémon breeders, one in Nightmare City, one in Route 7, and one in Route 9 to battle with. I chose to battle the one from Nightmare City because she has four Audino while the other two breeders have just three. The ability is Pixilate, which makes Normal moves turn into Fairy moves, and boost them by 20% more. If under Misty Terrain, Pixilate grants 50% more instead of 20%. This ability can be changed into Cute Charm, but Sylveon will lose so much power without Pixilate. As for the attacks, it has Hyper Voice, Moonblast, Psych Up, and Calm Mind. Hyper Voice may be a Base 90 Normal Special move, but Pixilate turns it onto Fairy moves, which grants STAB, as well as 20% more power, making it 162 base power (90x1.5x1.2)! When under Misty Terrain, Hyper Voice becomes 202 base power (90x1.5x1.5)! This attack also hits both of your opponent’s Pokemon in Doubles, though its power from spread attacks gets reduced by 25%. Also, Pokemon with the Soundproof ability is immune to Hyper Voice. Moonblast is a Base 95 Fairy Special move that has a 30% chance to lower your opponent’s Special Attack, making it possibly more bulky than it already is on the special side. Psych Up is a situational attack that copies stat changes. However, there are a few scenarios that can make Psych Up come in handy. There is a NPC character (named Enthusiast Alexa) in the Grand Dream Tournament whose Eevee is using Extreme Evoboost. Psych Up will chiefly copy those stat gains, and will proceed to rekt the opposing Eevee, Umbreon, and Sylveon with your own Sylveon with +2 in every stat! There’s another scenario where Reina’s Swoobat consumed a rift seed to gain +4 Special Attack. If you can copy it’s stat gains and survive two hits, then maybe you might be able to take it out, which is not easy despite your titanic Special Defense. Finally, Calm Mind is a good boosting move that boosts your Special Attack and Special Defense. Since TM04 is still not available in Pokemon Rejuvenation, this is one setup move that you shouldn’t get rid of. And that wraps up this subject. Enjoy your prepped up Sylveon!
  3. I just noticed that in both Reborn and Rejuvenation, after getting your 9th badge, you start to progress into the story while, at the same time, get to a place which you can’t go back (point of no return). When you’re at Agate city and get directed to Agate circus, you cannot return to Reborn City for a while due to a sleeping spell from some Pulse machine. For Rejuvenation, once you hop on the train in West Gearen, you cannot get back to Gearen City for a while due to the guard saying that they’re investigating the train that was almost wrecked. Both Reborn and Rejuvenation has NPC characters give you HM Fly between 12th to 13th badge, except that in Reborn, you have to beat Ciel to get the badge and permission to Fly while in Rejuvenation, you can start using Fly before beating Adam. From the moment you get access to Fly, both Reborn City and East Gearen City had undergo major changes, making it both restored/improved (East Gearen wasn’t destroyed, hence the “improved” term). Overall, that are aspects that I’ve noticed and thought about when I progressed the game. As if I was playing the same game again.
  4. So I thought about a particular key item that Ren gave to the player character: the Mysterious Black Box! This box previously belong to Nancy before it was passed down. The purpose of this box is unknown, except that by looking at the icon of said key item, it made me do a comparison drawing. I'll make the player character wear it similar to how the Millennium Puzzle was attached. Aevia is the only character that I can draw with ease; I might have difficulty drawing the others.
  5. So I thought about the Mysterious Black Box that was passed down from Yancy to the player character, and I was thinking, why not attach this box in a similar manner of Yu-Gi-Oh. Have them wear it like a puzzle!

  6. 52% already?! Wow, I better get a move on regarding redoing my save!
  7. Well, if it was a joke, then you got me real good! What I didn’t joke about was that I actually deleted my save due to being trapped, and I am not going to put my file here since I no longer pursue it. It’s all right though, I have an opportunity to get Anju’s Pendent and take the Flora route on my second new adventure, something I didn’t do last year.
  8. That’s unfortunate to hear. I have messed up my save file due to doing random things in Ocean Pier and suddenly Black Out in the area where the factory field is at and got sent to Xen Brigade where it heals my team but lost control of movement (and was a fool to save it afterward). Even after 11.3 I’m still trapped. So losing my Greninja is inconsequential at this point. Well, that gives me enough time to record another adventure (and redo my entire AP rewards) of mono-Fairy run!
  9. Sylveon crest: +65 Attack, +65 Defense, +20 Special Attack, +70 Speed. Battle Bond ability, changes form if it knocks out a Pokémon. Swift becomes 90 BP. 95/130/130/130/130/130 Note: This isn’t meant to be serious. I wouldn’t want a powerful one to be in there.
  10. Which starter did you choose for this mono-Dark run? Froakie or Litten?
  11. If it’s the Guardian Deities remix, then you have my vote! Since Sword and Shield is going to be released late 2019, it may be risky to publish V12 around that time frame.
  12. Did you try Terujama Jungle? Wild Morelull occasionally carries one Tinymushroom. Have a Thief user snatch one.
  13. Well, if that’s the case, I hope Aelita doesn’t catch up on some issues, because since Vivian’s Madness is gone, then she doesn’t get to reincarnate if something bad happens. Unless she still gets to do that even without the curse...
  14. Do you remember the part where Ryland keeps the MC, Ren, Reina, and Huey from going past Alamissa Urben to Zone Zero. After you were thrown into a battle against Bladestar Elites, Ryland was being reasoned with and let’s you go. But before that, someone with ray-bans and a levitating skateboard transports the four of you (except Ryland) to the past.
  15. The entire review was pretty spot on and on point. Awesome insight.
  16. Based on the next gym badge after the 13th badge that we’ve just got, I guess we get to finally get access to Zero Zone after a little mishap of being taken to the past.
  17. Being a reserve leader seems fun and exciting, but to be a competent substitute, a lot of careful thought and composition must be taken into account regarding team choices, moves, items, stat spreads, and Field Effects. This is a hypothetical scenario of me pretending to be a reserve Fairy Gym leader in the event the original leader is missing. So without further ado, let he showcase begin! ——————————————————— Vince is battled on a Misty Field in Double Battle format. The Misty Field, when destroyed, becomes the Forest Field. On top of the field, the weather is raining. As a substitute for the 16th badge, the level cap is 95 for the challenger. I’m suprised how you all managed to find me. I’m Vince, the reserve Fairy gym leader. Now, I don’t know about what’s going on between all of you and ******, but regardless, when challengers can’t find ***, then I’ll be happy to accept challenges. Whenever you’re ready, take your position in Sheridan Arena.” Before battle: “16 Badges, huh? You must be going through a lot. Whatever it is, show all of them to me!” After defeat: “And that’s a wrap!” Post battle: “As promised, here’s the badge. Oh, you already have it? Well then, it was nice to battle with you. Take care.” Subsequent chats: “You’re wondering if I had anything else to do besides this? To be honest, I actually don’t. Turns out that I can keep this role in peace.”
  18. Was curious if she also gives you Passho Berries if you don’t have one.
  19. I believe you get HM Dive after you hit the bell and you get the “Over 9000!” result. Similar to Agate Circus, the bell is in Axis High University.
  20. Just wanted to say that I am excited to play this.
  21. So one thing I’ve noticed is that I didn’t see much of Super-heated field effect outside of one instance in Valor Summit (facing Zetta and Geara). Caratos Mountain, some parts inside of Valor Mountain, and Amber’s Gym all had Burning Field. I was thinking Super-heated field will provide a harder challenge than Burning Field when it comes to major battles. And you can pack a Pokémon with Eruption or Heat Wave to change a Superheated Field to a Burning Field.
