Quite frankly you could pare down a lot of stuff and make this game a hell of a lot shorter. There really don't need to be 18 gym leaders. We've all be around Aevium too long, whatever's there is contagious. A gorgon like Pokemon would be a cool idea, honestly. Yeah, it's mostly the same people replying. Hey at least it means you have a consistent base! Also I do go back a read an old chapter for the hell of it. The whole Valor Mountain climb is still probably my favorite set of chapters in the run. Yeah a lot of names I noticed on the old Taptalk forum flat out don't post anymore. They're probably dead. . . or just moved on/real life got in the way. Either or. Nope, that bit is gone. You, Ren, and Venam get rid of the Xen grunts in Gearan then board the train to Sheridan village. Honestly that whole section with the first 4 gyms has changed pretty radically. It honestly looks great. Honestly I wouldn't want to live in either Region, though at least Reborn is upfront about all the crazies running around. Can you even buy Full Restores at this point, its honestly astounding if not at the levels your at now. Maybe if you find a way to lower the Special Attack of the mon using it ahead of time? Enough to keep Beret alive for those two hits barring crits of course.

Yep it's been about the same 10 people or so for the last couple of years at this point. I think the sheer length (heh) might scare people off, I was lucky enough to latch on during the hiatus between Part 1 and Part 2, gave me plenty of time to read through. I legit have no idea. It shows up several chapters later perfectly whole, though it may just have been a different one. Eyup. Ash trades Aipom to Dawn, since the little monkey likes contests so much. It evolved then got into Ping Pong so much that Dawn gave her away so she could fufill her "dreams". It's honestly the dumbest possible thing that could have happened, which is a shame because the monkey kicked ass in pretty much every battle she was in. She's better in early game and onwards (not by much, but they at least have her start to acknowledge how much of a shit she is, so there's that). They also make it so that you fight Venam before you go off on your little field trip with Melia, which makes the whole Gearen city arc flow MUCH better.

God at least she and Scout made up. . . . Okay real shit spoiler for V13 if you care at this point but: That aside onto the chapter and probably the most pointless battle in the entire game:

You were never not in the friendzone my dude sorry. That's what fanfiction is for! Think of it like her being the Robin to your Batman. Wait it's on the PS4, well I know what I'm going to download when I get the chance. Yeah on the handheld was a poor idea on Nintendo's part. I love the company but they do things that make me just ask why? That's actually not a bad idea, especially since Part 3 is really long. Dividing the chapters into Arcs would make it easier on rereading. Now onto the chapter itself.

It's got some of the same writing issues Reborn and Rejuvenation has. But at the very least there's only 12 gym leaders instead of 18. Plus none of them have died and invalidated their badges, so that's good. Also it actually let's you catch a legendary Pokemon. Granted its just Articuno but that's a step up from the other games. Yeah 21 on 17 isn't too bad, but 27 on 18 is more than likely gonna get some odd glances. As long as there's consent among both parties, I don't think I'd go for it myself.

God Bless Mold Breaker and Rose in General. She really was the best thing to happen to you in this region. Also justice for Huey because I am 90 percent certain that it was that guy that knocked him out of the tournament. If you get it high enough think you'll be strong enough to take on Melia? It's great fun, Scout is the best Furret ever. Also man Drayano hacks almost look quaint in comparison to Reborn and Rejuvenation.

I'm kinda shocked whenever I click on older stuff in the Nuzlocke forums to see that it's still up. Was mostly referring to an old forum I used to frequent, had been up since like early 2000's. Stopped logging on as much over the years then I log on sometime last year and boom it's gone. Kinda bummed me out.

Ah websites and forums such fragile things. One day everything's fine, next day the owner forgets/doesn't want to pay for it anymore and years of memories are just gone. No sane person in the world would blame you for dropping the blind aspect of this Nuzlocke by that point. Props on you for playing this game for so long. I honestly can't do it anymore, it requires a bit of time investment that I generally do not have any more. Like if this was 5 or 10 years earlier maybe, but not now.

Yeaah a blind Nuzlocke run of this game might be impossible without the actual luck of the devil. You're lucky Sean, put I think that luck has met it's match in V13. It's like current Reborn. The battles are way too difficult and many of the opposing mons put out way too much damage to go through without some sort of major prep before hand. Gonna start spoiling my chapter comments when they get on the long side. Be easier on everyone's eyes I think

Since Melia was supposed to be a Gym leader, she get's her own custom move like all the others now I guess. Future convos between Sean and Erin are going to be fun, I can already tell. Seeing who can outsnark the other while Rose and her Absol look on eating popcorn and making bets. That convo with Caesar made realize there's whole sections of your team that never met. The number of Pokemon on the team from Part 1 is tiny at this point. I got the red haired one, when I took the quiz for the first time. I like em, I know they're essentiall dark skinned red headed Gary but I just like his general demeanor. They all look great honestly, Zumi did a great job with design. Will we see more of Girl Sean when we get to the time travel shenanigans hopefully? Wonder who she got as her starter. . . That Oshawott. . . wow now that is a blast from the past like the 2nd chapter in this whole adventure. Didn't think THAT would come back to haunt you did ya? I can tell Rose and Destiny are going to be the best of friends. Fingers crossed maybe you're terrible luck with Water types will work for you for once, though with your luck in general she'll end up being a long time member. That last line. . . . not the worst pun on this run probably. And to answer the question in the title, you sure can but you probably don't want too.

V13, and from the first few videos I've seen on YouTube it's gonna be an ride. . . a potentially terrifying one to play through too. Welp Flora is gone and you never have to worry about her again, totally. Carnage being used was a pretty good call, Heracross is a good mon even without the Mega to be honest. They're up there in my favorite Pokemon list. Oh the double edged sword of Hail. Well if there was one Pokemon that would team kill another on the team, it probably would be Chiller. Prophet went as he lived. . . being unnecessarily cryptic. Also the return of SazzleDazzle. Rose and her on the same team sounds like a recipe for disaster. . . and comedy. So obvious you have to do it more often. Oh yeah the Saki ruins. . . .pretty easy to forget about Saki and the others. I don't even think the game brings them up again until this point. Also Aelita wasn't that weird of a name to me at least, I'm familiar with it from a mid 2000's French cartoon called Code Lyoko. Time to go exploring in the woods, better just pray the update didn't put some kind of superboss for you to stumble into here.

Wow this is probably the longest chapter in awhile, I can see why you had so much trouble. It's been awhile since I've seen you this angry in game. God your track record with Water Types in this Region is horrid. I think Gustav lasted the longest out of all of them. (I'm glad its Gustav over Chiller to be perfectly honest. Gustav was great but the sadistic little snowcone is just a delight and the death of him against anything but like a Madame X tier battle feels wrong) Bluster folding the rest of that Bladestar grunts team was kinda nice to see. Wow this cave wasn't nearly so tedious before. The earlier versions didn't have any of this mirror puzzle stuff at all. Should hang onto that mirror, seems like it could be very useful. Yeah that Bladestar pitch was pretty fucking bad. I wonder how Flora manages to convince anybody, but seeing her grunts I can see she's not very picky. Like I think they make the Anti-Assist grunts look smart. . . which makes it all the more galling that they killed one of your mons. I was less thinking you join Bladestar and more you end up working with Flora, using each other to further your own ends, stuff like that. Never happen in this game, but maybe another fangame could run with the idea About that spoilered part Well time for another Gym Battle, you have plenty of counters to grass types so it should be fine. . . . hopefully.

Okay maybe the switching thing was an exxageration, but I for some reason lost to time that Pidgeot ended up being the pokemon I used the most. Everyone else lagged behind, and Pidgeot picked up the slack. This was like 21 years at this point when the game first came out (god I feel old). I think the fairy girls are on whatever shrooms are growing out there, don't do drugs kids. Moemon. . . god that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Probably because anyone who was ever remotely interested moved onto stuff like Kantai Collection, Genshin Impact, etc. . . or became a functioning member of society. I do gotta admit, Moemon Rose looks kinda cool. Oh the ghost Aelita things definitely new to the most recent versions of the game. That or she's a hallucination brought about by the shrooms, either or. Also you legit look a different person in game, so she legit may not recognize you dude. Though the semi incoherent rambling may sound familiar to her. Main characters in pokemon games don't skip leg day, especially here in Rejuvenation. Do you even have access to a bike yet at this point in the game? Also the cave got a MASSIVE upgrade, before it was just a generic looking cave. And the Bladestar arc begins, yet another evil team. Flora is kinda interesting as a character, I'm honestly curious to see if you choose to work with her or not. It'd be kinda cool if choosing to work with her/keep her secret would have caused the eventually fallout to make the city and/or your friends turn against you. Be a cool plot divergence. Bluster has been on a roll lately, that burn was beautiful. I'd love to see a theme based gym leader team, or do what Blue did HGSS and have a balanced team of Pokemon. The last gym leader in Sword and Shield has a team based on weather, so there's that at least. It feels like the gym battles are a afterthought to the plot at this point. Like we go through all this stuff with Xen/Bladestar/cults and then go oh yeah you have a gym battle to fight. At least in V11 and V12 you get the badge due to plot related battles which I think is a step up. Well time to meet . . . not my favorite character in the game, honestly that's Aelita but she's pretty high up there.

On my favorites list: The poison type is one of those Ultra beasts from Gen VII, its like a weird cross between a syringe and a dragon. The whole train track's being "destroyed' was probably just to pad out the version of the game when this was first introduced honestly. Also I did not expect Introduction to Trains 101 today, will there be a test? Like after certain point if you're in that much of a hurry you could walk along the railroad tracks (okay the game mechanics wouldn't let you do that, but you get what I mean). The trainer levels take a jump at this point, but at your levels you should be able to handle it. . . . as long as you don't run into another situation like that imposter Ditto. Holy shit I haven't been legit concerned about a battle in this run for awhile. Thought you were gonna have another Conkeldurr situation there. Favoritism towards Rose, perish the thought! This Oblitus Town is having an effect on you. . . it's making you relatively nice to Melia and Venam. Though they haven't done anything blatantly reckless lately so that helps. If you think how you played as a kid is bad, I apparently didn't know that you could switch Pokemon playing Gold, so I ended up with a level 54 Pidgeot fighting Jasmine and her Steelix the first time I ever touched the game. Oh boy, it's time for the introduction to ANOTHER terrorist group to the mix. Hopefully bladestar and whoever those glasses wearing weirdoes at the Pyramid later are the last because it's honestly getting ridiculous. Yeah this chapter could be called filler, but it was fun at least. Better than most of the time travel arc ones (not because of you, but what was going on in the game. Which could be summed up as one long cutscene/exposition dump) honestly. About that PSA, be funny if someone you knew IRL was following this run and posting.

I actually saw the alert for the new chapter like literally the same second I pressed reply. Stellar timing on my part eh? Got a bad habit of reading your updates but not actually replying until a day or two later. It's mostly me typing then stopping to do something else, or trying to make sure what I'm typing is actually coherent. I thought Amanda battled you here? Maybe I was thinking of another point. A sun based team would almost be be quaint in comparison to other battles in this game. The plot can't advance without you but everyone else resolves the plot, that's Rejuvenation in a nutshell. I imagine they were just sitting there saying he'll be back anytime now. . any second now. . . . You're only being so generous to the group because you haven;t been around them in such a long time, I'm sure that'll change in a chapter or two. The people on the train were surprisingly normal except for the lady with the random kid attached to her, maybe she's a version of you in an alternate universe on her own adventure. She's angry enough. The surprising thing about all this is that the train didn't explode or wreck, though only through "Krystal"s efforts. Who I'm 50/50 on being the champion, she could be a red herring or she could be champ but get bodied like Amethyst did in Reborn. Also you have to know by now the only thing you're gonna get "lucky" in is Pokemon Battles here. You should honestly be used to it by now. Time for the Fairy Forest, which I honestly think is one of the coolest looking environments in the game. There's actually similar area in Sword and Shield and it looks just as cool. My fav Pokes: I'd like to think I got some decent variety in taste.

You show admirable self-control for not going for the extremely dated "Over 9000" joke when going through the power levels of your mons. Honestly that Advanced Pokedex looks amazing, though finding some of those mons to get access to it sounds immensely tedious. It's probably for the best that you released those mons you caught, though Zangoose can be pretty good if you use em right. Rose, Chiller, and Caesar being the top dogs of your team doesn't surprise me in the slightest. But the penguin being so high is amazing, he's gonna be a great asset when you finally get around to using him for real. The way you've got the chapters/parts spaced out and how the development of the game is going, you might end just being able That flute solo was pretty cool, wonder how long it took you to edit it? I honestly never nicknamed my mons when I was younger, like I didn't start doing that until I got into nuzlockes around 2010. Said naming scheme for my mons is basically like yours: whatever strikes you at the moment. Like I've gone with the VERY generic Ember for a female Charizard, Darknut for a Chesnaught, fun stuff like that. And now the filler is over and the plot beckons. I'm kinda bummed I was having fun with the scenic tour of the parts of the region you've already visited. But it had to end eventually and hey the immediate section of the game isn't all that difficult so there's that at least.

The whole champion of Unova joke was a reference to the theory that Alder was former bug catcher considering half his team is bug types. . . it's a weak theory admittedly but there was traction for it back in the day. 100 Chapters. . . that's a minor miracle in itself considering what the game throws at you. But good on you for your dedication probably powered by spite at this point. Also the reward for 100 chapters sounds like a pretty good idea, like the Focus Sashes. They're not OP here because you'll likely to burn through them pretty fast considering some of the bosses. But they might come in clutch. I honestly think Version 19 of Reborn won't be out till like 2022 at the rate it's going. I don't think ANYONE expected it would take this long. I'm more invested in Rejuvenation by far, but at this point I just wanna see how Reborn ends. . . for better or worse. Let's be honest, you kidnapping these kids to a orphanage (A good one at that) is like the best possible outcome for them considering all the cults and terrorists running around the place. Maman had "Anime Mom" Syndrome written all over her, but it was oddly endearing seeing you desperately throw money at the problem. I'd say here's to hundred more, but I'm not sure if that's a curse or a blessing a this point.

Hey man just take the generosity of the people when it comes, you need all the help you can get in this region. You know when I saw Karrina's shopping spree, I was expecting there to be some kind of deal on some rare item. . . and it would be revealed that Karrina had bought them all. Karrina's one of the better characters in the game I think. About DnD, you're honestly not wrong. The Dice are fickle, fickle things. Having a town on the oceanside and constantly drilling under is surely safe. I see no way that this ends in tragedy no sir! Bug Catcher Sean has a nice ring to it, you could be the next Champion of Unova it'll be great. Holy crap I did not think you could catch that Empoleon. I thought you'd beat it and it would offer a Piplup as a reward (Boy that takes a new meaning in the scene afterwards) This is MUCH better. Though with the level cap you probably can't use him yet. Now the PLOT beckons, you can't run forever! Also congrats on making it 100 chapters, the dedication it takes to keep this going for so long is kinda impressive.
