  3. there's the shadow beldum u can acquire at one point or another but otherwise? im not entirely sure............ "maybe" gible tho thats not til pretty late iirc
  4. the problem with evolving it is the game time needs to be seen as night, and without the unreal time mod yyou will have to either manually fineggle with your computer's clock temporarily and set it back afterwards or play at night and level it to evolve, either way it requires a night based level up holding a razor claw
  5. you can probably evolve it right away as nidoking's movepool shines from TMs (sadly) and being that as a nidoking its hidden ability becomes sheer force giving it a life orb and turning it into a special attacker makes it live up to its name of KING as in the main series comppetetive scene life orb sheer force nidoking special sweepers are monstrous to face as for a moveset i'd say earth power, sludge bomb/wave (depending on if you use it a lot in doubles or not), ice beam and either flamethrower or thunderbolt
  6. as some of the previous posts said it lets you use your team and items instead of whatever they normally have.......... that and you get s brief line of dialogue from them commenting on how they can feel your energy or something to that effect basically its a means of making the scenarios easier if you so choose
  7. its not a matter of it being one or the other as its both, the challenge is in the whole concept of them being balanced to the level of your team
  8. yea EDIT: i went back with only 5 in the party and it worked just fine, seems to only be an issue with a full party
  9. well i swapped to an old save to try and get the pikachu at a more appropriate level in the new update when this error decided to make a return
  10. havent been around here in a couple weeks so i gotta wonder, has there been any progress on the next update? not trying to rush you or anything, just curious is all considering you had mentioned something about the pikachu issue i spoke of being fixed in the next update but said update from what ive seen hasnt been out yet
  11. one minor issue i noticed with this albeit it seems to be just a visual issue from what i can tell is if lance sends out dialga any mon he sends out after wont show their health bar but will instead still have the dialga's empty health bar showing its worth noting their actual health bar is still there and functions normally, its just not visibly showing due to the dialga, likely due to it having "boss status" as i call it similar to stuff like the mecha gyarados and whatnot in v13
  12. yea and it kinda feels a bit broken ngl having a lvl 100 pikachu so early in the game, even if it wont obey me for crap half the time its still nice to fall back on if needbe also i had reverted to the previous patch after adding pikachu to the team and it seems im able to carry on as normal............. i gotta wonder tho, considering the warning the game gives in regards to this pikachu, am i right in assuming ill come in contact with their original owner eventually?
  13. i could be wrong but i think something is wrong with this pikachu's stats (note its the sidequest reward also applying the fix that let me actually complete the sidequest also seemed to revert the text entry back to selecting each letter one by one instead of typing it out D: EDIT: it seems losing a battle caused its stats to change as to normal............ also it seems this pikachu is apparently that pikachu that was mentioned in one of those errors i had mentioned so long ago that was patched
  14. for context it was the kid that wanted you to find a bunch of voltorb, i went into a house after finding them, battled them all, rescued the pikachu, talked to the kid then went to the pokemon center to heal up/claim the pikachu as my own
  15. i went and did a sidequest in vermillion and ended up seeing this before the game decided to take a poo
  16. was just playing a fresh run and got to mt moon, did a a battle or 2 against a rocket grunt in there, got into a random encounter and then it just decided to bite the big one on me note this only happens with random encounters, the trainer battles inside mt moon work perfectly fine
  17. for some reason when trying to get into a random battle in mt moon i get this error i cant head outside to check if its the same out there as the encounter triggers long before i can make it outside note this doesnt happen with trainers tho
  18. any chance there could be an option for keyboard based text entry (meaning we can manually type in names for our character/pokemon instead of having to select each letter 1 by 1 like it is now)? even if its just an option like on other fan games itd be nice
  19. its not as bad as you might think, if anything using interceptor's wish can make those scenario's easier in many cases tho even so using it doesnt guarantee victory if you like i can tell you what her team was if you would prefer to decide for yourself if it was worthwhile
  20. something i was curious about as of recently: is it possible to play thru the game and not side with bradioc at all?
  21. yea that seems to work fine now only a new problem seems to have arisen with this specific update: the enemy mons arent taking damage from entry hazards, i know its cause by something in this update cuz last update they were taking hazard damge just fine
  22. i have a second emolga there cuz hanna is "borrowing" cherry's (seems during that whole segment when you have to catch the buneary and whatnot as cherry you can send her mons to the PC and hanna and quite possibly the MC as well can access them)
  23. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i dont think thats supposed to happen note it happens to any of my mons if they level up, essentially the ones that have a +- next to them seem to actually be losing the displayed value
  24. ah ok, and another thing im not sure if its a bug or intentional but i noticed a good bit that magic bounce wasnt reflecting hazard moves such as stealth rocks and spikes but it still reflects sticky webs and encore........ did you mean for this to happen or was that a bug? cuz magic bounce should be able to reflect any non offensive move
