  1. I suggest playing Tyranny then. That is essentially what the entire game is about.
  2. Well therein lies the problem I have. I have the stone, despite having it I cannot melt the store, and I have no clue how to progress the story. Edit: Alright. I had to get the old lady's blessing in the caves to go and melt the store. That seems to be the thing I missed.
  3. Inside the mountain, I chose to keep the Magma Stone, which broke in half as a result. I went then to the frozen shop, but i cannot interact with it. I have the stone on me, nothing happens. Is there someone I'm supposed to talk to before I am allowed to melt the ice around the store?
  4. True enough, but it still isn't resisted. Neutral damage can still be a deciding factor in a fight.
  5. Fire/Fairy Ideal species: Rabbit Grass/Steel Ideal species: Ferret Water/Fighting Ideal Species: Shark This would be in my opinion and interesting starting trio. Here, you have two triangles. You have the grass-fire-water that goes in one direction, but then you have Fairy-Fighting-Steel that goes in the other direction.
  6. A bad-assed father. We had one with Norman in Hoenn, let's see our dad as the champion we have to face. Or, turn it on its head, have your father be the main villain, the leader of the criminal Team.
  7. Wally's ORAS battle theme on Victory Road. I have listened to it so much and in so many remixes. It is the Pokemon Company's answer to Guile's Theme. It goes with EVERYTHING and makes EVERYTHING more awesome.
  8. Since the bug thread is closed and I did not see this issue posted on the list or in the fixed list of the Episode 10 patch: Trying to go down the right stairs causes you to go into the castle. Literally. And you cannot get back out afterwards, requiring you to reload
  9. Who could forget about the fabulous Mirror B? Yeah, there are many other, better villains, but this one was the most FUN.
  10. Fern. His annoyance levels as a character are just beyond Gary Oak. He's one of the characters I would like seen killed off in place of those that actually are. The guy is purely insufferable.
  11. Easiest for me was Shade. My shiny female Meowstic Lavender wrecked his Gengar and Rotom. Soon after, I sent my Blaziken to Bulk Up Set-up on Banette, Fire Pledge twice so that move would be the one disabled by Cursed Body, and then Blaze Kicked everything else . Shelly was not too bad once I paired Meowstic with Growlithe. Fake-out the rain dancer and burn everything to the ground. Hardest so far has been Radomus. I don't have a Pokemon that can destroy the Chess Field That Slowking and Metagross were the most troublesome part. It doesn't say how certain moves have their type changed, so I was baffled by how Psychic was super-effective against my Arcanine. Eventually I changed my team around to consist of Meowstic, Tsareena, Lurantis, Mightyena, Lopunny and Infernape. Fake-outed the TTrick Room users and destroyed them. Still had a bit of trouble, but Lopunny came in with the finished of Silk Scarfed Return on Gardevoir.
  12. I enjoy games that have dynamic choice making, things that either alter the game's path, how events play out in certain scenarios, or how others react to you. Games like Devil Survivor 1&2, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, Wizardry 8 and Tyranny are all great examples.
  13. Two of my roleplay characters: Zuko Scorch the Braixen (holding the Philosopher's Stone), and his father Arthur Pendragon the Chesnaught (holding his two adopted daughters, Heaven the Zorua and Desirae the Ralts). Both commissioned pieces. My own art of an adorable Eevee
  14. Dunsparce is the king of need in this area. So much potential, yet such garbage stats.
  15. Iroh: "Failure is only the opportunity to try again. Only this time, more wisely." "It is important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it only from one place, it becomes rigid and stale. Understanding others, the other elements, the other nations, will help you become whole." "Pride is not the opposite of shame, but it's source. True humility is the only antidote for shame." "Life happens wherever you are, whether you make it or not." "While it is always best to believe in one's self, a little help from others can be a great blessing." "There is nothing wrong with a life of peace and prosperity. I suggest you think about what it is you want from your life, and why." "Be careful what you wish for, Admiral. History is not always kind to its subjects." "It is usually better to admit mistakes when they occur, and seek to restore honor." "Sometimes the best way to solve your own problems is to help someone else." "Even in the material world, you will find that if you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see."
  16. Hand-tossed, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, beef, shaved steak and bacon. That's my usual order for Domino's.
  17. Join #TeaamPopplio ! But yes, Primarina is very good indeed. More type coverage is a very good thing to have.
  18. Perish Song Prankster Murkrow: the answer to all of your 'fighting against overly powerful Pokemon' problems. Deals with those nasty Garchomp, undying Medicham and even pseudo Arceus! Get yours now in the Aqua Gang's base (regardless of which team you side with).
  19. I like a game with a very well-thought out tutorial teaches you things by putting you in situations that you have to figure out. Mega Man X is the best case of this. The entire first level, as well as the title screen, is a tutorial! It never tells you anything, but the way the level is set up, it throws one problem your way each time with plenty of room to try and solve it. Another good example is Cuphead (contrary to a certain 'journalist' who clearly needs to learn to play video games in the first place). You don't have anyone interrupting you, just a series of problems with the answers shown in the background, and you have to work the controls to figure it out. Tutorials that are not intrusive are the best kind. Or, it can be like The Bard's Tale, where there is a fourth wall humor element in it that makes the tutorial worth playing through, just to listen to the Bard. Tutor "Now, let's teach you how to use that lute of yours." Bard "What? Does my name not mean anything to you? The Bard? Did you not see me summon that rat just a few minutes ago?" Tutor "Press the left trigger to open the menu." Bard "You're not listening to a word I'm saying, are you?"
  20. 1.> Kingdom Come Deliverance. It has been shaping out to be one rather satisfying game, despite some of the minor bugs (like the staircase in Rattay). There is a real layer of strategy in the number of ways you can approach and solve a problem. 2.> Pokemon Reborn. Currently trying to figure out a way to beat Randomus >.< And in the meantime doing a separate second playthrough with better results so far. 3.> Persona 4 The Golden. I will never tire of this game. 4.> Digimon Cyber Sleuth. I will never tire of this game either.
  21. Although only ever shown in one ending in Starfox Command, I really like Marcus McCloud. I would love if NIntendo would pass the torch from Fox to Marcus and make a game centered on the next generation. While most will not categorize him as such because of his affiliation with the criminal team, N Harmonia is, by my accounts, the best rival in Pokemon.Yes, he's the (puppet) king of Team Plasma, but he acts far more like a rival than future rivals (Serena/Calem & gang, S/M Hau). He makes you question your own motivations as well as questioning his own.. He challenges you, not for the sake of simply beating you, but to better understand you, your Pokemon, and the relationship between trainers and Pokemon. And even when you beat him in the end, he leaves for his own journey of self-discovery. N is one of the most compelling and well-written rivals I have faced against.

  24. So many people hated Popplio when it was showcased. I found Popplio to be adorable. And I tend to be a sucker for adorable Pokemon. Turned out Popplio was a good choice in the end anyhow. My first time playing, I got a female timid-nature one right off the bat playing Pokemon Sun, and she was not only a mainstay of the team, but my MVP. Next, Mightyena. I love wolves (my fursona is one), and the dark-type wolf served me well back in emerald. Not only that, it got even better by Gen 5 with Moxie. Cincinno is also an underrated gem. It's cute, and the one I got had Skill Link. After using a rememberer to get Bullet Seed and Rock Blast to add to tail whip and gave it a silk scarf, that one Pokemon demolished half of Ghestis' team.
