Well, I would've beat the E18 gauntlet at long last, but a certain Fire Blast just had to decide and ignore my X Sp. Def investment by way of critical hit... Welp, time for attempt #19, I guess?

It dawned on me earlier that mushroom pokemon aren't the only thing that's been consistently showing up every off Generation- so have Ghost Elite 4 Members.

Gen. 1 had Agatha

Gen. 3 had Phoebe

Gen. 5 had Shauntal

and Gen. 7 had Acerola.

This is the first time I've noticed that the area between the Beryl Bridge and Shade's Gym actually has music playing. Geez, how slow can I get?

An addendum to a comment I made yesterday: only the first two generations have had their cries updated for some reason... which means that sableye and especially staraptor are safe! For the time being, in any case.

Woo, I finally beat Amaria~! Goodness, that was an absolutely horrendous struggle... But now i don't have to worry about her anymore when E18 drops! Well, aside from... you know...

...When the heck did Deliverance gain enough experience to go from the mid 80's to Lv. 91? I really didn't need that in my life.

So, I only now realized that there's a warp pad in Amaria's arena once you can actually battle her. Now I don't have to drag along a Lv. 25 Surf slave against Deliverance's overleveled shell~!

...Apparently wingull has really, really bad Defense. Like, I just accidentally one-shot a shiny one with a swoobat of equal level's Fly bad. And no, it was not a crit. 

*That feel when you get a perfect ditto and Lv 1 landorus through Reborn's Wonder Trade, both in Beast Balls*

Note to self: going through Amaria's Gym on the Reshiram Route for the first time is not good therapy from having your childhood ruined. Wait- it's too late for that now! 

It probably says something about me that my reaction to the underwater portion of Amaria's Gym was "This is kinda my aesthetic".

And that i seem to say "it probably says something about me" a lot...
