You’re partly right with Torkoal as a travel companion. The second one is harder to guess cause I didn’t mention it until now. It will be revealed further in the story. And wow, I did not expect such an attention to be paid to Fennekin! Torchic heads the poll for now. Also, I’ve just finished to work on the second custom character of the run, she was relatively complicated to design, especially for the VS Sprite. Thanks again for the votes!

Fighting Types? I guess you mean Fire Type Pokemon. Flannery is the Fire Gym Leader of Hoenn, she doesn't use any Medicham or Toxicroak. If you want a clue, one of the answers has already been quoted several episodes ago.

For my first monorun, I've hesitated between Dark Type and Flying Type. Even if I enjoy the dark side a lot, there are some interesting possibilities with aerial Pokemon too, and even more with Toucannon who became available with Episode 17. Also, I've learned how Swoobat was underrated in the game, cause it's one of the few mons to learn Calm Mind by evolving. So, I would definitely recommend it to you. Julia is the only true pain to counter in the beginning, the rest should be easier to deal with.

I've already planned to make her leave from Hoenn at the end of a short season of four episodes called 'Departure Arc' which implies a return to the present timeline when Flannery and Winona are grown up. But here is the thing, I would like to make her arrival in Reborn with three Pokemon. Two of them will be her dearest fighting partners (I'll let you guess who it could be), but the extra one will be a starter she will obtain at the end of a special event that I'm working on. It will affect the Grand Hall itself. This is not the only feature of this run. I've also decided to add some extra events including custom Pokemon battles with brand new characters. If you agree, I'll send you an overview of what they look like. Meanwhile, I need to be clear on the Fire Type Starter who fits Flannery the most. That's why I've decided to run a poll. The grass around Beryl Cemetery is your best option for now. Then, to optimize your chances for defeating Shelly, I would recommend the cave under the Grand Staircase where you’ll find Aster & Eclipse for the second time. It’ll be even more interesting if you have special attackers in your team, because there’s nothing but Unown down there.

My hate goes to Sirius. He's a pure rogue character and I'm quite sick of what he did to Eclipse, let alone Seviper's attack toward Florinia in Fiore Mansion. Also, he tried to burn the mansion down after your victory against Solaris and New World Orderly John. Beside Solaris and Lin who are rather well-written character, Sirius is more an executioner than anything else. I can't wait to kick his ass in the next episode.

Your best option would be to use Rotom with Double Team and Charge Beam. Give it Elemental Seeds, then spam Double Team at the the beginning of the battle. You can also choose to use Blaziken with Thunder Punch, or teach Solar Beam to Ninetails. The TM is hidden somewhere in Beryl's library. If you turn into Water Type thanks to the seeds, you might also take less damage. Furthermore, using Sludge Wave with Salazzle could be interesting too.

I personally use a modest Spiritomb in my current run. To get through Reborn without too many troubles, I would recommend to get Pressure. My moveset is the following: Dark Pulse -> Best Dark Special move of the game in my opinion. Shock Wave -> Another Special move which harmonize a lot with most of the field effects (To be honest, I'm still waiting for Shadow Ball to be available.) Double Team -> Extremely useful in single battles, it will force your foe to overuse his abilities. This technique is even more interesting in the later part of the game because you'll encounter a lot of Pokemon favoring moves with low PP. Nasty Plot -> To optimize Special Attack, of course. Considering the present moveset, it would be clever to trigger a growth of evasion, then using Nasty Plot to inflict as much damage as possible. This strategy is your best friend in long battles. Recommended item: Leftovers

Um, that’s an interesting topic. I would feel myself tough like Pangoro, as offensive physically as Alakazam, as resistant as Swalot, smart like Honchkrow, as sensitive as Bellossom, and at least as swift as Dusknoir. So, my stats would have been something like: HP: 95 Attack: 50 Défense: 83 Sp.Atk: 105 Sp.Def: 100 Speed: 45 Total: 478 I would favor long-range attacks essentially through thought, but it will force me to exploit a lot of vital energy, which explains why I would find myself that slow. By reaching a higher level , I could possibly learn a move to make the balance between my forces and my weaknesses.

Thank you for the compliment! Indeed, it was quite emotional for me to do this as it was marking the end of Flannery’s past. The battle scenes were more simple to create this time, I was amazed myself during their creation. Also, it would be interesting for me to know if you prefer seeing videos of Flannery facing the Reborn Gym Leaders or rather battles with custom screenshots. I’m open to any advice and suggestions
