    Charmander makes this game easy, maybe even to easy. Dragon Rage kills everything early in the game (except Fairy type ofc). Popplio is good later in the game. Froakie is good, but with Protean is awesome.

      Actually bibs, you can with a nuzlocke count fossils as a static mon. meaning that if you do so you don't need to skip an encounter

      I personally count static pokemon as encounters for said area. so if I fetch a static mon in an area, im not allowed to catch a wild pokemon and vice versa.
