Definitely viable been running a Steel monotype on intense and mind you the only offensive pkmn before GDC is Togedemaru, A-Dugtrio and empoleon the rest of my team is very bulky and slow like escavalier and steelix. so i you are asking is it possible to clear the game on intense with only bulky pkmn then its definitely possible and i dare to say that some battle will be easier

If i'm not mistaken it was at the place where you fought rift ferrothorn, after that sidequest finish, at some point head back to room where you fough it, interact with the panel and go to the room in the right, you need to find it with itemfinder

Yes i assume you are already in terajuma island, cus 5th gym is Valerie, the gyarados can only be defeated in from the start of Goldenleaf chapter to the start of chapter 5 so if you didnt kill the gyrados by then it will disappear, this was because there is some dialouge between Melia and Crawli about you defeating the Gyrados (if you defeat it before the start of chapter 5) but it doesn't impact too much to the story only got like +1 relation points with melia if you kill the gyrados so its optional really

The hardest is early game venam and keta, keta is not bad cuz i search for phychic hidden power wormadam with quiver dance but venam is hell, it need so much rng that i never though possible

try a ribombee it a nice fairy coverage with incredibly speed and sp atk, it has a limited movepool but have access to sticky web, quiver dance, dazzling gleam and bug buzz, it can work as special sweeper and web setup

Well tbf larvesta evolve at lv 59 which is around Randomus (eight gym) lv and as an early game mon larvesta is not that strong so i guess its not too bad

Yeah most notable is intimidate really got nerved they are at least 5 abilities that blocks intimidate now

Well some advice when you go battle with some strong trainer or mon that you maybe need a few try to beat: you can just save before the fight and in battle when you thought that you might lose just press f12 this will soft reset the game and you can try again without losing money or happiness
