FPS mod remains same (at least for me) so try to put it in max which is 100. Also, the FPS mod completely disables in game alt function so I think it's already faster than before.

I don't think this is a bug. Basically, there's a missing font on your pc. (Same as mine) I know this because this is the same problem which not only occurs (at least for me) in Reborn but also in Rejuvenation. I may be wrong, but there are always others' who can clarify me.^^

Reborn save files aren't compatible with that of rejuvenation. Also try to use backup save file for reborn and it might work:
