  1. I'll be online for the next 5 hours, let me know when you're free to trade
  2. I'm interested in the Cinccino, I can offer you a 5IV Zangoose (x Sp.Atk) , a 4IV Helioptile (28 SpDef), and a 4IV Honedge (30 Sp.Def and 18 Spd). Might as well trade 2 at a time, since your Cinccino is 6IV.
  3. Pokemon Name: Skarmory Nature: Impish IVs: 5IV (x Sp.Atk) EVs (If you want any): Shinyness: No. Yes if available Offering Pokemon: Zangoose (Female) Nature: Quiet (will change if requested) IVs: (5IV + 16 Sp.Atk) EVs: Shinyness Yes/No: No Moves: No egg moves Others: Comes with Toxic Orb
  4. Flamethrower might be a better choice from Flame Burst? Anyway, since you completed E16, might as well take some time to grab those rare held items using Thief->Fling->Recycle. Life Orbs and the Choice items are neat for running a sweep team.
  5. Sandstorm gets powered up into D*rude Sandstorm, which changes the battle soundtrack into... well you know what I mean.
  6. I was thinking about a Field/Terrain that would be generated by the ability of a PRIMAL Dialga. Which implements the setting that can Dialga control time. Well, you can say it is something like a field where time gets sped up/slowed down . But to be specific, it functions based on overlapping timelines, something like A=> A+B or A => A-B, where the logic of cause-and-effect were warped. Depending on how Dialga wants the field to be, it could create a field where "effects happen earlier without the cause to exist" or a field that "removes the effect although the cause has been acted". To make this simple... Chronal Field "Your perception of time gets twisted..." - 1.5x boost to Roar of Time. Using Roar of Time does not require a turn to recharge in when the field is active. - Every time Roar of Time is used, the field shifts between Phase A and Phase B, and gets extended for another 5 turns. Chronal Field Phase A - Overlapped Timeline <"The effects of now and the future overlaps..." - Every turn, the secondary effect of an attacking move, or the effects of a non-attacking move were applied depending on what move is set in the first moveslot. So lets say that I'm fighting Dialga in this field with a Ninetales, my Ninetales has Nasty Plot in its first moveslot, while Dialga has Flash Cannon in its first moveslot. In that turn, I have Ninetales use Fire Blast, while Dialga uses Dragon Pulse. Damage were dealt on both sides, and at the end of the turn. Ninetales suddenly gains +2 Sp.Atk while receiving a -1 Sp.Def. Which means although it was using a different move, the effects (just the effect, but not the damage) of the first move of every Pokemon will be applied. Its like colliding a timeline where Ninetales used Nasty Plot while Dialga used Flash Cannon onto our current timeline. The causes (which moves were used) doesn't exists but the effects (stats boosts/nerf, negative statuses, etc were applied all in the same turn). So imagine a Scarf Togekiss having Ancient Power in its first slot, it can go for high % flinch with that Air Slash while having a 15% (or 20%? not sure about the ratios of Serene Grace) of raising all it's stats , all in the same turn. > Chronal Field Phase B - Shorten Timeline <"The timeline shortens itself, breaking the connection between cause and effect..." - Upon activation, these effects that occurred within the previous turn will be removed: 1) Negative statuses inflicted on both parties (whole party) , and any damage dealt due to the said statuses (unless fainted). 2) Any increase/decrease in stats for all Pokemon in the field. 3) Any entry hazards , damage dealt due to entry hazards (unless fainted) and/or decrease in stats. 4) Healed HP (only if it is the secondary effect of an attacking move) - At the end of every turn, all the same effects in the above list that have occurred in the current turn, will be removed. - The second part of a two turn move (the attacking phase) will NOT activate (unless sped up by an item or weather) So this Phase B is kinda hard to understand. Here's a situation of how it works (Double Battle): 1. In the first turn. My Dialga + Arcanine came in. Dialga goes Primal and the Chronal Field activates, currently at Phase A. Intimidate activates --> opposing Walrein and Haxorus -1 Atk. Arcanine goes for Overheat while Dialga uses Protect . Walrein survives the Overheat and uses Toxic , Arcanine gets poisoned, receives poison damage, and has -2 SpAtk. The opposing Haxorus also uses Protect. 2. In the second turn. Arcanine uses Protect, Walrein throws out Stealth Rock (lets just assume that it learns that lol), Haxorus uses substitute, and Dialga uses Roar of Time. After dealing damage, Chronal Field Shifts into PHASE B. 3. All the stats of the Pokemon will then revert to normal, Arcanine stops being poisoned and has the poison damage healed back. And Stealth Rock miraculously gets cleared off. 4. As long the field maintains at Phase B, all effects that happened in this turn will be cleared off at the end of the turn. Unless a Pokemon was KOed by the said effect (burn/poison damage, entry hazard damage). A Pokemon KOing itself using a certain move (eg: Memento) will only remove the stats drop done by the move, but won't revert the fainting itself.> So while Phase A is more of a multi effect field, Phase B is a giant combination of Rapid Spin, Heal Pulse, Heal Bell and White Herbs. Where pure damage is the best option (and spamable Draco Meteors).
  7. After taking over the mansion in Ceilla City, you can get a vendor that sells EV berries that decrease your mons EVs while increasing friendship. It works even when you have no EV allocated on a certain stat. I do believe that you can get a Soothe Bell at a certain point but I'm not sure when.
  8. Sounds like Pokemon Showdown to me. Where cloning Pokemon (in the actual games) is apparently legal according to the community, with reasons like: "It keeps the economy going!"
  9. Or you can Thief/Covet-->Fling-->Recycle a certain trainer in the Grand Hall. The guy with the dialogue: "What? You wanna go?" and has a Bisharp, that Bisharp holds a Rocky Helmet.
  10. I'm expecting a multipurpose field. Which is only multipurpose for the Champion. Depending on what Pokemon the champion sends out, the field adjusted itself to the type of field that benefits the champion's Pokemon, or even adjust itself depending on what Pokemon you sent out just to remove your advantages. Here's an example: Lets say that we started with a standard field, as the champion sends out a Magnezone. The battle begins and the field adjusts itself into a Factory Field+Electric Terrain, which as you can see, is beneficial for Electric+Steel type Pokemon. You decide to switch into a Fire type Pokemon with high SpDef to counter it, and eats up a scarfed Thunderbolt, you know that you can land an attack even after the next Thunderbolt, therefore choosing a Fire Blast/Flare Blitz as your next move. But after Magnezone uses Thunderbolt, and you're ready to shut it down.... [Field Change Activated] [The field adjusts itself! A Fairy Tale Field is generated!] Your Fire type move was added with a Dragon typing onto it, dealing neutral damage. At this moment, you've realized that Reborn has reached a new pinnacle of trolling. But decides to go on anyways. You switch out into a Ground Type, and prepares an Earthquake. Knowing that Magnezone can't continue, the Champion switches into a Lucario. You thought that the AI has broken, but... [Field Change Activated] [The field adjusts itself! A Water Surface Field is generated!] Earth what now? Ah, the really definition of hardcore Pokemon battling... EDIT: Just realized that this is the Champion Title Defense we're talking about lol
  11. I declined Fern's offer, but I'm lazy to wait for that Chatot so I simply used an Escape Rope, apparently that works hahaha.
  12. As much as the main games emphasize the bonds between human and Pokemon. Gamefreak did not make "bonds" a significant thing in terms of gameplay. The introduction to IVs stats of different Pokemon is an implementation of the hard cold reality that - TALENTS are more important than bonds, at least in terms of battling. Let's be honest, in Reborn you change your team composition time to time for the sake of winning certain events, if I would use this as a reason to show how our Reborn protagonist treats his Pokemon, he/she/xe really isn't any different from the antagonists in terms of treating Pokemon. Pokemon are really just mere tools to achieve an objective, doesn't matter if you're the good or bad guy. Kinda sad huh? The same logic applies to a certain Pokemon fanbase, aka the competitive players, understanding that their starter has shit IVs , and their favorite Pokemon are not useful at all in the competitive stage, they're left with no choice but to start a cycle of breed, throw, train and win. Which is why I always thought that Pokemon should never be a thing in real life. In fact, I actually hope that a Pokemon game where bonds (or friendship) would affect battling significantly other than the move called Return. For example, Pokemon disobeying you no matter what level it is, you have to feed, play, perform dialogues, resting between training and go through multiple dramatic moments with them so they get closer to you, before being a completely reliable partner (Ash's Pikachu for example). I WOULD PAY FOR THAT.
  13. Welp, time to breed a top percentage Rattata! Edit: Come to think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if Lin's Hydreigon is the exact same monstrosity.
  14. If a trainer really just wants to be nice and spend time bonding with their Pokemon, IVs EVs and sometimes movesets should never be a concern. Let's be honest, Pokemon Masters are strong but cruel. Even the core game protagonists, who's strengths are based on their care and trust towards their Pokemon, is most probably being played by some power greedy players who just wants to rekt the league using some OU standard team. Being strong but a decent person sometimes just doesn't fit well. Reborn shows us these realistic issues, and slaps the faces of those who believe they can finish the game by using their favourite list of Pokemon. As I said, if a trainer really cares about the Pokemon they obtained, they wouldn't really mind their strengths and potential, if they do, they probably have a subconscious mindset of making Pokemon tools that bring them victory and fame, basically every competitive Pokemon player. If you really wanna prove yourself as a trainer who is both loyal to your team, while being incredibly strong. Why not just go full try hard mode at all times instead of relying on talent issues such as IVs? I mean with really good luck and lots of soft resets, you will be able to generate a gym leader with really low IV Pokemon. But then it wouldn't be as satisfying as beating a competitive team with a team with low IVs (A Nuzlocke using Pokemon with their max IV's not exceeding 15 would be fun to try out, just saying) And even though bottle caps might be a thing in Reborn , I doubt it will be released any time soon because you need to make your Pokemon reach lv100 before using them (is that's how bottle caps work?). So it's probably more of a post game content instead of being an item that help players proceed through the game. Edit: But then I am one of those talent greedy trainers who breed a lot for perfect IV mons so I'm not really supposed to lecture anyone about this issue, lol
  15. Probably my own in game avatar. You know, the one who doesn't talk much, but still get involved with random conflicts because... he doesn't have much choices to make.
  16. Just to make sure, is Weakness Policy purchasable now?
  17. I'm interested with the Carvanha ( M-31/31/31/6/31/25 ) and the Feebas (M - 25/31/31/31/31/31) I can offer you a Gligar (M - 23/31/31/31/31/31, Cross Poison) , a Marill (F - 30/31/31/16/31/31 , Aqua Jet +Belly Drum) or a Helioptile (F -31/23/31/31/28/31, Electric Terrain)
  18. I guess you're pretty early in the game? Since Luvdiscs are only available after accessing Belrose Mansion (post Aya). Anyway, 10 heart scales for your Deino
  19. Well, not gonna rant on the amourshippers too much. As non relevant stuff like toxic community can always be avoided by not looking at the comments. The series itself however, is overrated. Raised up hopes, did nothing. Adding Shounen cliches and not even using them well will not improve anything, especially in a Pokemon anime. Like seriously, Lysandre actually believed that humans will conflict over energy in the future, all the reasons to start a war, but ENERGY! Really? In a POKEMON WORLD? Some people should really stop forcing realistic values into a series based on an Utopian world
  20. Andddd here's my entry for the Auction. Will attach a Focus Sash on it too.

    Luxray

There is something related to the "local lion tamer" in E16. The character has yet to appear, however.
  22. After beating Radomus, you'll gain access to 7th Street , there you'll be able to find an old man, who changes your Pokemon's nature randomly, in change for a Heart Scale. So no point trading for the sole purpose of Natures
  23. Not sure if this is possible, but maybe add some secret achievements into certain trainers? For example, this trainer says: "Lets see whose Electric Types are stronger!", and when you defeated him/her with only Electric types, he would offer you an extra item/Pokemon after the battle. Not necessarily has to be rare item or Pokemon, but will make you feel disappointed for missing that achievement.
