  1. @Commander Yup, level 65 is ok . I was planning for Zangoose to have 252 on Atk and 252 Speed , might have typed it in the wrong slots. Thank you for informing

  3. Yeah, so I wonder if there is any areas where I can buy or any methods to collect these held items in large amounts? As I'm thinking of designing certain team builds with these items.
  4. A little heads up for our awesome breeders here, E17 is up! You guys will be playing it...right?
  5. I'm currently playing Doki Doki Literature Club, the characters are cute and interactive, and the gameplay is pretty interesting too , by using poems to decide which characters grow fond of you. Even for gamers who aren't quite fond of visual novels like me, this is quite a pleasant ride. Although there is this really weird disclaimer at the beginning of the game. Not sure what is that for, but its a VN based on youth and romance, so how bad can it go right?
  6. Buy Vitamins, Rare Candies, and if possible the healing items and revives...... LOTS OF THEM The thing about Vitamins and Rare Candies is that they make EV training less grindy since they can raise an EV stat up to 100/252 . While the Rare Candies makes leveling up past lvl70/lvl80 much more easier instead of repeated battles with the hall trainers. I mean, unless you really enjoy the process of EV training from 0 -> 252, there should be no reason to not use vitamins to make training faster, especially you're building multiple teams or breeding the same Pokemon with multiple sets. For now however, try and make sure that you have enough healing items and revives before entering E17 since Amethyst stated that the economy will be "fixed". Which probably means that you'll get less money from battling. Which would eventually affect your team's survival during the dreadful process of dealing with Reborn's puzzle areas. Other than that, just buy whatever you want? Reverse candies , Blue Moon Ice Cream hunting... anything that will make your wallet less stacked. . . . . . . Banking system when?
  7. A pretty nice concept for a fangame? Since this game is pretty much the equivalent of a fan game shitpost mashup, would you consider adding in the meme mons from Pokemon Clover? (Yes, Im aware that clover is a romhack instead of a fangame)
  8. For some reason no one had came out with their field ideas yet. Floating Rocks Field Concept This field occurs in the strange part of a certain region, where giant rocks with metals or minerals in them float in the air due to a weird magnetic field acting in the area. It is a sacred land for miners or treasure hunters as these rocks might contain rare gems and items. The floating rocks extend to about 50 metres above the ground. Meanwhile trainers tend to train here to improve the mobility of their Pokemon, especially with the floating rocks as an obstacle, creative movements or ways to use projectile moves were developed. Wild Pokemon that resides here are mainly Pokemon with small sizes, as large Pokemon tend to collide with the floating rocks when moving, hurting them in the process. Although it was said that Flying type Pokemon build nests on top of the rocks that float at the higher areas. Field Mechanics (Giant Rocks float everywhere, occupying a lot of space in the surroundings) - Pokemon with a size of larger than human receives entry hazard damage (equivalent to Stealth Rock) - Stealth Rock will fail - (Collision!) For Pokemon with a size of larger than human , using contact moves causes a damage on the user by 2% 4%, 8%, 16% or 32% max hp depending on its type resistance against Rock type damage. - (The rocks provide protection for you and your opponent) Accuracy of special moves are decreased by 20%. - ( XXX stood on top of the rocks, gaining more air time!) When the moves Fly, Bounce, Splash, Jump Kick or High Jump Kick is used. User gains an extra turn of "In air" status before initiating the attacking sequence. During the extra "in-air" turn, special moves can be used by the "in-air" Pokemon, while physical moves cannot. - (It's over An*kin! I got the high ground!) When initiating the attacking sequence of Fly, Bounce, Splash, Jump Kick or High Jump Kick. The user gains -1 priority. Move Boosts/Nerfs - (Rock POWERRRR!!!!) x1.5 damage to Rock type moves - (The rocks are hurled towards your opponent!) When Special Psychic and Special Flying type moves were used, deals an extra 2% 4%, 8%, 16% or 32% max hp damage to opponent according to its type resistance against Rock type damage. - (The floating rocks joined in the attack!) The move Rock Slide gains x2 damage - (The magnetic field is disrupted! The rocks moves around randomly!) When a multi-hitting electric type move is used, all Pokemon on the field receives damage according to Rock resistance. Field Alteration/Destruction - (The floating rocks crashes down due to the intense gravity!) When the move Gravity is used, all Pokemon on the field faints. The field turns into regular field until the Gravity effect is gone.
  9. Try contacting Dylanrockin, I do recall that he designed a character transformation system that allows the main character to switch between his alternate forms in the overworld (he even made multiple characters that you can change in the overworld) . He has a thread titled "Symphonic Horizon" in this Devoloping Games subforum.
  10. Compared to that... LEGACY MOVE TUTORS WHEN?
  11. There is, Fury Cutter was a tm move in Gen II where the Bulbasaur line can actually learn it. It was also a tutor move in Gen III and IV . Kinda of a shame that most fan games actually uses the latest movepool without giving homage to the previous generations, the ones we refer to as legacy moves. Although it is understandable because no one wants a No Guard Machamp with Fissure. Anyway , these Pokemon I stated are pretty much joke sets, the ones recommended by a certain Poketuber.
  12. I'm not quite into making an original character but...can we get a character with erm....cough, Curse+ Heavy Slam Wailord, and Fury Cutter Venusaur? Oh, and a Shedinja with Sandstorm
  13. Ice Rink Field Since this is a gym field where the gym leader applies her own experience as a skater, instead of your regular ice-boosting field, I would go for a field that also involves movement mechanics where Pokemon that are used to moving on ice would gain field advantages, while making bad movements on the field would cost you the game. Field Mechanics - (The natural ice-skaters dance elegantly) Grounded Ice types gains fixed speed boost (x 1.5 speed) - (Those unfamiliar with ice struggles to hold their stand) Grounded non Ice types gains 3 turns of slow start effect (-1 speed, -1 Atk), stats returns to normal after 3 turns on the field. - Flying types are unaffected unless grounded by specific moves. - Pokemon with Suction Cups and Steadfast are unaffected. - Accuracy of physical contact moves are halved when the slow start effect is active. - When physical contact moves misses, the user receives damage equal to 10% of its maximum hp. (Falling on ice rinks usually doesn't really causes major damage irl), this effect is negated by pokemon with Rock Head - Burning does not occur in this field, the chances of freeze to occur is doubled Ability + Weather Enhancement - Activates Ice Body - when Hail is active , the healing effect for Ice Body is doubled. - Activates Slush Rush - when Hail is active, the speed boosting effect is doubled. - Activates Snow Cloak - when Hail is active, the evasion effect is doubled. Attack Boosts/Nerfs - Ice typing is added onto Water type moves (excluding: Scald) - x 1.5 base power for ice attacks - Dance moves effects are doubled, however using dance moves under the Slow Start effect has a 50% chance for the move to fail - (A slight meltdown occurs, creating hot water in the trail of fire) Using Fire type moves / Scald causes both sides to receive an extra water type damage (reduces 5%, 10% or 20% max hp depending on type effectiveness from water) Field Alteration/Destruction - (Cracks are created on the ice, creating obstacles for the skaters) if Heavy Slam, Earthquake and Precipite Blades is used, a slow start effect is imposed to all grounded Pokemon (includes ice types). - Glaciate / Blizzard / Surf repairs the field - Heat wave changes the field into (some kind of water field I guess? I mean, ice usually melts when heated, it has to go somewhere instead of being completely destroyed) Huh, just realized i wrote a little too much for this field, just pick whatever that is to your liking in case its too complex
  14. Here's a thread that has quite a number of ideas for custom field effects. The one that @Sceptilespy created: Though, instead of just giving out ideas, can I know the kind of situation or the kind of area / gym that requires a new field effect? Or most of our ideas will just turn up as vague ideas that doesn't fit in the plot.
