Got an urge to play Minecraft again, so I reinstalled it. Either these snapshots are slower than usual or my laptop's performance has gone down over the past months.

I've only played for about 20 minutes and about 5 were just waiting for the world to load enough. As interesting as the new village stuff is, I'll probably have to downgrade to the last stable version, though that still has all the new ocean stuff.
if I get an underwater house, I'll be sure to have an Edgar pit dedicated to you Wolfy -

Trust me, I know. Playing MC on a 6 1/2 year old, mostly unmodified laptop is already laggy by default.
It's just even worse than just 7 months ago, though it seems to just be the snapshots. Going back to 13.2 and using Optifine got it back up to where it was then, more or less. Not great, but playable.
