      just makes me anxious for when our favorite jailbird returns. Ace will most likely not be there forever

      Actually the powerpuff connection has been there for years, going back to the movie where there was a gorillaz cameo in a newpaper ad and even fosters home for imaginary friends  had the red haired girl dressed as tank girl one time, which was done by the artist who designed the Gorillaz memebrs. Also noodle wore a mojo jojo shirt one time.

       

      That said it's still a really weird crossover. Also the implications 2d is possessed by HIM.

       

      From hat I understand craig mckracken is buddies with the gorillaz staff hence this existing.
