  1. Damn Sylvans.  Damn them all.

I probably have enough cards for a Sylvans deck, but I'm not bringing that to PVP now.

Question:  Is it wise to use the duel orbs I've been saving while this 1.5x  EXP event is going?  I don't know if they will be more useful down the line or in the higher stages (+40)

it depends. does the stage youre currently at already allow ten standard duelists to roam in duel world? usually its optimal to use duel orbs while getting maximum profit from it, but if youve only got, say, nine, it wouldnt make too much of a difference. I usually try to save my duel orbs until I got a duelist I really want to level, though.

aliens are really fun. at least, ive had fun playing them. theyre not the standard 'unga bunga' as people call them, but theyre very good against offense-oriented decks that arent sylvans mrmgmrmrmgr

hazy flame is also a tough matchup for them, since the 'not targeting' basically shuts down your "a"-cell recombination devices, brainwashing beams and enemy controllers. wall of disruption is pretty much the only chance for aliens to defeat hazies, unless they brick really hard, which is also a possibility because hazies are notorious for being the biggest brickfest of all meta decks.

update: the deck has been tested and I approve. five wins in a row in kc cup, which elevated me from dlv 15 to 17. two of my matchups were against sylvans, who were shut down turn 1 by metamorphosed insect queen appearing on the field, as not a single sylvan is able to match the 2800 attack points of metamorphosed insect queen. sylvan hermitree comes the closest, but sits at 2700.

my other matches were against some weird fish deck that I first thought would be golden flying fish, but then the dude pumped out a goddamn levia dragon daedalus which nearly beat me. however, after one field wipe, daedalus didnt have the power to match metamorphosed insect queen anymore, so that was that. archfiends was easy because the dude didnt seem to be aware that neither my insect queen, nor my insect token, nor my hazy flame cerbereus could be targeted by effects, so he was forced to destroy his own escape from the dark dimension with his effect. read cards, children. last duel was against dark world, in which the opponent tried to field wipe me turn 3, but once more, insect queen to the rescue with an immunity to being destroyed by card effects, and 300 attack points over reign-beaux.

      liking this deck.
