  1. I still remember buying some of these cards and watching the anime dub.  I know I tried to play the PS2 game that my friend had, but you can't pick up much in two hours.   I might try playing the game on emulator at some point in the future.

      Huh, I remember having a few of these cards when I was like 9 or so because my mum got them instead of yu-gi-oh ones

      I see.  From what I remember of the English dub, it skirted the line of gag dub at times (like the Kanto season of Pokemon at times).   Never got into the game despite it seeming interesting.

       

      I'm honestly surprised to hear how popular it is in Japan.  From the comments in the video, it seems it had the opposite effect of it's inspiration:  Magic is popular in the U.S. and not in Japan, while Duel Masters is popular in Japan but didn't catch on in the U.S.
