Well, my laptop's touchpad has finally gotten near unusable (though it's not quite there).....time to start getting used to the plug in mouse again.

It's been working for me for 6 years with no problems after taking about a month to get used to. Occasionally (like once or twice a year), the jitter problem I am having now (mostly trouble having the cursor mover left) might pop up, but restarting fixed it. After a few restarts over the course of few days, it's still jittery and uncontrolable with the touchpad.
There was a time I would have said they were a bad idea, but I find them more helpful than dragging around an extra mouse. Probably just because of years of use.
