  1. @Bazaro I've decided to give making some of the high resolution sprites a shot, and in the interest of not making duplicates I was wondering if you had worked on any high res sprites other than the ones that you have marked off on the two threads that you have. If you have not, I'm probably gonna work numerically from the start just skipping the ones you have made. Anyways, I'll post my attempt at ivysaur here: Originals: High Res: Edit: Now that I look at them side by side, ivysaur is a lot more blue from the front than from the back - that kinda bugs me. These are both with the original color scheme.
  2. Lucas from Sinnoh. Not bad, I liked the D/P games.
  3. Evidently I'm grass and psychic... I'm not really a sunny and outgoing happy go lucky person like the description says. And I'm sure as hell not always hard at work. Whatever, I guess I'm either celebi or exeggutor. Although I'd prefer to be celebi since having 3 heads is kinda weird.
  4. I've found for after episode 16, the best place to train for hp ev's is against the pokemon in the water treatement center. All the pokemon there give hp ev's. Just bring the selected pokemon with a exp share and pokerus if it is low level, and a strong psychic type. Super quick ev training there.
  5. Very nicely done! A tutorial would be nice, but where else can I look if I want to do this?

    I-I need help...

Protect is not in game since it is very powerful and versatile. A quick claw, focus band, or focus sash would allow for you to get destiny bond off, although you will probably need to reset a couple times for the former two to work. What is your current team, and what viable backup pokemon do you have for Samson?
  7. At the point you are at you can't do the quest anymore. You have to do the growlithe quest before the city gets cleaned up.
  8. Online Username: Peanuts Timezone: EST Availability: Most nights after 10, and I check the forums fairly often. Just PM an hour or so ahead of time so I can check and confirm. Rules/Field Effect: I don't really care, but I prefer no field. - Typically use an EV trained and IV bred team. I don't really have any other good pokemon as alternatives. - No Blaziken please. But that's about it. - Sleep clause: only one pokemon on either side asleep at one time, I ran into issues with this before. It's kinda hard to battle when all 6 pokemon are asleep. - All my teams are bred and EV trained, but I'm still very much a novice with pokemon battles
  9. I have a bone to pick with you on this. Health and life are different, sure. But will you justify someone's extremely poor quality of life - or death for that matter - since they are unable to afford healthcare since it is not their right to have it? It is very possible to provide a modicum of healthcare that would cover the vaccinations and basic needs for anyone that gets poor. This will make the greatest impact for most individuals that have little money. Aside from the simple cases, diseases like aids, diabetes, cancer, etc - require expensive healthcare if the individual is to survive. Or live for another year. Healthcare that is a hell of a lot more expensive here than it is anywhere else in the world. For such people, the access to healthcare is literally the access to life or death. Just because universal healthcare was not around when the Declaration of Independence does not mean that it can be ignored in this discussion of life and death. Healthcare is as important as life for certain individuals. To simply tell a terminally ill patient 'I encourage you to get healthcare' doesn't do sh*t. And good luck telling them to use household remedies as well. Sorry if this sounds a little aggressive.
  10. In terms of magnitude, universal healthcare in the US might be larger than most other countries, but it fundamentally should work the same as it does in all other countries that have implemented it. There is no real fundamental difference distributing insurance between the 50,000,000 people in South Korea (which has universal healthcare) or among the 300,000,000 people here in the United States. IMO what it comes down to is whether the citizens are willing to accept the premise of universal healthcare. And the overall sentiment here in america, especially from the republican party, shies away from the idea that universal healthcare would be beneficial for the american economy. There are a number of reasons that republicans dislike this, primarily the Obama, but basically everyone wants cheaper healthcare without having to pay for it. This is a gross oversimplification, but since we the citizens are not supportive enough of a unified plan to universalize healthcare, it simply has not happened here in America. And there is no unbiased news source unfortunately, as much as I wish for one as well. The ones you have listed are pretty good imo. I've given up completely on following the news in a consistent manner, and resort to reddit at this point. Which is probably one of the worst sites you can go to. But hey, at least it's entertaining. Moving to Canada does sound nice now...
  11. I get that the republicans wanted to 'repeal and replace' the ACA, but why didn't they initially design a bill that would appeal to more members of the party? Democrats probably wouldn't vote for the replacement plan anyway, so they just had to model it for their party members. It seems like a simple matter to pass a bill if the republicans have majorities in the house and senate.
  12. I have been on the forum for a while (168 days to be exact) and I still can't seem to change my title. I checked my profile and I don't have the option, not sure why. Is it possible you need a certain number of posts to change your member title? I'm dumb
  13. Yes, you are able to transfer pokemon between files if you want to. Just set up two online accounts for trading and open up two windows of the game and you can trade back and forth to yourself. I've only done it with two computers, but apparently it's possible with one if you rename your selected save files correctly when opening the two instances of the game.
  14. Mawile was absolutely clutch against Shade early on in my steel mono run, and was my only early steel type that didn't get absolutely destroyed by fire and fighting pokemon. It helped me a lot early on since it could do good damage to pokemon that would otherwise sweep my team.
  15. Not sure about the Masuda method, but I believe the shiny charm gives you a ~2% chance to give you shinies.
  16. The quest does continue onto 7th street, but you are not able to get the magikarp there. That particular quest you can't finish right now to get the 'karp since the developers think (for good reason) that gyarados is too overpowered at this point in the game. However, there are a handful of people that got magikarp either early on or otherwise inserted into their game. I have one since I traded with one of those people. You can DM me if you want to trade for one.
  17. Magneton does evolve in Shade's gym, but the event to get the key for the room was moved to post-Agate Circus stuff in ep 16. So it will be a while before he is able to get a Magnezone.
  18. Ooops... I didn't think to check the tag at the top. My bad.
  19. Tangrowth and Greninja should be fine. Swoobat and Wheezing are fine for early game where you are right now. Misdreavus is probably the first one you should replace. Currently you have no real electric, normal, ice, flying, dragon, dark or steel coverage. I'd probably suggest a fighting type and ground type. Those two types will cover most of the common types that you are missing here. The two pokemon I would suggest getting are swinub/piloswine from the cave by Shade's Gym and scraggy from the Obsidia slums. Those two should cover all of your bases. Later on, you will probably want to swap Swoobat and Wheezing, but those two can wait for later. Hope this helps!
  20. True, I wasn't trying to imply that Blaziken would OHKO. I think Noivern, Luxray, and Leavanny should all be able to do some chip damage to steelix since they are all faster. My hope was to use the stacked attack drops on steelix so that later pokemon (blaziken in particular) might be able to get off more than one attack.
  21. That Steelix will be faster only if it has been EV trained 180 points in speed, give or take a little depending on IV's of the two pokemon, and assuming it is a regular steelix. At the moment, I am not inclined to believe that it has been given EV's, especially not EV's in speed which are wasted on a Steelix. So a level 54 Blaziken will beat Steelix in terms of speed just fine.
  22. Your team should be fine, especially with Blaziken. Luxray and magneton could be used to drop Steelix's attack with intimidate and screech respectively, if you have the ability/move. You can also use reflect from meowstic as well to further lower Steelix's attack. I would personally use all my other pokemon first and then use blaziken to finish it off. You might want to go to the move tutor and get Blaziken to learn flare blitz so you have a more powerful fire type move.
  23. No, it is not possible. While you could technically configure the game to accept touch inputs rather than keyboard, reborn is a fairly cpu intensive game and it would not run very well, if at all.
  24. Hello, I'm planning on doing a flying type mono-run. The Pokemon I would like injected are: Rufflet, Hawlucha, Starly, and Gligar since I will be unable to properly breed and EV train them while in Agate Circus - Iv's don't matter for these. In addition, I would like 5 - 6 IV ditto for use when breeding so I won't spend a couple days soft resetting like I did for my steel mono and still never get a good ditto. Many Thanks! Game.rxdata
