It's just a guess but if you download or already have episode 17, and you save the game in episode 17, then maybe you could access it. Or you must be having a bunch of other saves as well. You'll lose progress but using a previous save of episode 17 for sandbox might work.

Probably because you are trying to play episode 18 on it. Sandbox is only compatible with episode 17 as of now and developer needs to implement new changes in the mode to get episode 18.

Not played episode 18 yet. How are the bugs so far? Anything major or game smoothly playable?

1) I want black and white graphics to come back. Especially for the over world like the awesome bridges. 2) Gym leaders should have competitive movesets right from the get go just to counter the exp all mechanics. 3) A pokemon to be introduced that can counter stall very easily and make OU playable again.

Bruh don't even bother arguing so much. No one here is going to change the game for this complaint and if you push the topic too much then many people will jump on you and your notifications will be a waste of time. Just go with how the game is because this is definitely not the last time you're going to be frustrated by this game.

Finish my studies and get a working job at 24. Shift to a foreign country (US or Singapore) at 30-35 maybe. Enjoy all the video games I like.

Does Adreann run the city? Last I saw was Victoria being the one educating the player about the gyms and being at the front desk. Now both she and Adreann have disappeared somewhere. And do you honestly think that the people of the city who have actually worked so hard to build it will allow team meteor to roam about? Maybe nobody recognizes team meteor but the path to the crystal door has been covered by concrete again and the back door is barricaded. The police are on constant look out for bad activity. If Lin blows the concrete etc again then people will come together much faster to stop her. So her only option is to destroy the city again so that there are no disturbances. So why would she contribute money to building the city if she only has to destroy it in the end? In that respect she has absolutely no use for Adreann. I think Lin is very confident that the player will join her cause. Meaning that we, the player, will meet child Lin at some point and that Lin will ask us to help her in some way. That help ties into adult Lin's plans already so we would be indirectly helping her. And hence we would wake Arceus and either cause the creation or destruction of Reborn.

I wonder what tier of competitive battling everyone here likes the most. I have a feeling that it's RU and NU for some reason...

Feild effects. They are always in favor of the opponent. The only way to get around feild effects are using a specific pokemon/type of Pokemon usually available in front of the gym or have moves that change the feild. Both strategies effectively eat into a person's team and move sets. If you play competitive pokemon, stuff like Naganadel was made Ubers because you needed to carry a specific pokemon/type to beat it in OU which does not adhere to the spirit of fair play. In that respect Reborn is massively unfair as it makes you change your Pokemon team and moves constantly thus not allowing free will to a player unless they want to suffer badly.

I guess we'll just have to bring as many types as possible and hope for the best. Well, everything is beatable after all.

Can we know your team? Did you use the same team for all 3 gym leaders? And the "leader" in this episode? Not "leaderS"? So there's only one leader.

Lin is Lin. But there's supposed to be two Lins. One is still a child who was trapped in the same area Adreann was and other is adult Lin. She's a cool villain.

Does downloading this automatically download a new episode? Or does this have to be implemented with the game files in some way?

Whoever in the world wants to play a game for the pure difficulty? Not me at least. Difficulty is cool to handle but if a game doesn't have a good story then I'm out. Even if it is regarded as the toughest game or challenge or whatever it doesn't matter if the story is not good. That's how I chose games at least.

I wonder how Reborn would be without feild effects. The fights would probably be more interesting to do with less powerful pokemon because the opponent doesn't become a Hulk in the feild and you don't need a feild changer or a Pokemon of the same type as the gym to actually do good in the gym.

Almost all the characters in this game are awesome and charismatic in their own way. Reborn without characters like Cain, Charlotte, Solaris, Lin, or Fern would not be Reborn anymore. And I assume it being right, considering the fact we almost always battle them in Custom Fields. For example, in a game like Reborn, a Gym Leader is nothing without his Field Effects and reciprocally, Field Effects are nothing without their strong, badass, respective and respectable Gym Leaders.
