  1. Lol no I'm not. Well, Zapdos is the only Electric type that does amazing and is becoming my favorite. My favorite used to be Electivire and I like using it in game at times but it's not so fast and effective as Zapdos.
  2. Okay I'll nominate an electric type as well. Go Zapdos!! (Perfect pokemon for OU stall breaking)
  3. Better watch a YouTube video. It'll probably still be relevant and trust me, you'll need a guide that holds your hand throughout the entire puzzle. It's that bad.
  4. I'm assuming this person is talking about a Reborn team. He says that he got a 5 iv shiny Vulpix which was modest nature. Now I've done enough of breeding in reborn to know that you will guarantee have a proper 5 iv regular pokemon before you ever manage to get it's shiny version. It's impossible to not have one. Yep, called it
  5. Are we anywhere close to the public release in this month? Or is is really in mid September?

    1. Dreamy

      Dreamy

At a rough estimation, it might be around the end of this month?

    2. Amethyst

      Amethyst

nah the bugs are basically set, just totally dependent on  how the online fixes go, and we're hoping that's not a big deal

Thanks for the hard work. Hopefully the release is soon!

  6. You must really love your shinies to be so persistent. Especially when all shinies are different coloured from regular games.
  7. From this post it's obvious that all the people getting high on seventh street are Ame's fault
  8. Uh not really fast but I like to think of my method as more efficient because it includes EVs as well. Get the Pokemon you want. Give it a power item for the stat you want to EV train in like power bracer for attack etc. Go to the area with the highest level wild Pokemon. Battle wild pokemon by using switching strategy. So basically keep level 1 pokemon in front of the party. Then get into battle and switch out to level 90 pokemon. Do this until EV training is complete. Then give the Pokemon to be trained a lucky egg and let it go upto level 70 ish. Finally battle the single battle trainer in the Grand Hall with lucky egg and amulet coin so you rake in exp and money at the same time.
  9. I dislike Eevee a lot but love Vaporeon because it's such a reliable water type and in my opinion is the only Eeveelution that takes it's job seriously (this is from looking at it's face only). Vaporeon is 11/10 and that's perfect enough for me. I thought you liked cats...
  10. Froakie with protean is my starter. It's a good pokemon but you'll need bulky team members if you decide to use it. Also it won't always ko pokemon. I've seen that physical attackers tend to do slightly better than special attackers so you could choose a starter based on that. Btw I don't have a grass type on my team and haven't felt the need for one ever. Just FYI if you're having trouble chosing a type.
  11. Okay so basically don't let admins/moderators comment anything when the next number in line ends with a 7. Alright. 1
  12. So admins/moderators are allowed to comment regular numbers? And Alistar never said any number but the counter was still reset. Technically anyone could have said a number with 7 and continued the game, right?
  13. Here's how to build a good team in a competitive environment of Pokemon.
Have these uses for each pokemon:-

    1) A physical wall. It has high physical defense and decent hp. Can stall or resists moves.

    Eg: Metagross

    2) A special wall. Has high special defense and decent hp. Can stall and maybe attack.

    Eg: Chancey

    3) A mega evolution. A mega is basically supposed to be a wall breaker. It's an all out offense. If it's out on the feild then it's meant to crush everything in it's path, simple as that.

    Eg: Mega Medicham

    4) A stall breaker. There'll always be an opponent pokemon using toxic or will-o-wisp or leech seed and recovery and stuff. You need something that when you send out, will effectively take out these pokemon, without being affected by the said stall. It could either be a Pokemon with a super effective type or a Pokemon that doesn't get affected by toxic/leech seed etc.
You'll have to play the particular tier to know the best pokemon.

Eg: Zapdos, maybe a poison type

    5) The speed pokemon. This pokemon is fast. Really fast. Even faster. Fastest in your entire party. This pokemon should always 100% hold a choice scarf. It will have very powerful moves and it's only objective is to attack first and kill. Upto you to decide whether it can kill an opponent at full hp or do you need to bring it down to half for the kill.

    Eg: Latios, Garchomp

    6) Your Favorite Pokemon. Trust me on this one. Usually people will tell you to use a stall pokemon. Or something with high stats. No.
When you've finished getting 5 pokemon fulfilling the above criteria you'll find your team full of strangers. You'll never have used these Pokemon before. You'll feel completely isolated from a game.
Your favorite Pokemon is the one you have to give you comfort. You already know how to use it. You love to use it. So use it as you like. It helps.

    Eg: My favorites!

    Greninja, Gyarados, Hydreigon, Electivire.

Build this kind of team and you'll excell at battling in no time. That's all.

  14. Why does Greninja have a tongue sticking out so long? Why does Delphox need a stick to cast fire and how come the stick doesn't get burned? It's pokemon that's how. It's a cool concept to revise Pokedex and pokemon designs so they make sense. But you'll have many many pokemon to consider.
  15. You won't be able to use this one until way later. It'll be a bit difficult to get. It's pretty difficult to raise. You'll probably find it useless in your party because it's type won't be super effective much. It'll die to physical attackers a bit easier. But still you could try and use it for some time.
  16. Zap plate is cool. You could reset a bunch of times and will get sturdy eventually. It's always randomized.
  17. Nice catch. If you find that your team members are not able to withstand hits a lot then I would recommend getting an ability capsule and changing this ability to sturdy.
  18. "People who don't work hard don't have the right to be envious of people with talent. People fail because they don't understand the hardwork necessary to be successful." -Yukinoshita Yukino from Oregairu
  19. I mean, players have managed to do monotype runs of this game and beat it no problem. With such a diverse team you shouldn't have any issues if you know how to use every Pokemon properly(nature, movesets, maybe EVs). You'll find that the game is frustrating, not because your Pokemon lack power, but because your opponent can get a Pokemon stronger than a Dragon Danced Dragonite simply because of the feild effects. Work around those and practically any team would be good.
