Woo. Versions 1-10 for story have been completely planned, every little detail and punctuation done. Now it's just a matter of getting the hang of RPG Maker which is what makes people scrap their game ideas.

So I guess we're getting V17 as a Christmas gift just like E16? Jesus. I understand Ame and the dev team are putting in so much effort for us and I appreciate that, but is anyone else getting annoyed of waiting a year for an hour's worth of content? I'm no Game Dev yet so maybe I'm not qualified to talk, but if there's any way I could help speed up the process, I'd like to know.

So if Erick has a Zapdos on Intense, and Amber has a Moltres. Why doesn't Angie have Articuno? It even covers the fighting weakness and gets freeze dry as well as defog, and screens. Was it just overlooked? Or seen as too op.

No offense to anyone who's non binary, but can people please stop pushing non binary characters into stories. It gets really annoying when there are like 5 non binary characters in a story that's not relevant to anything non binary. I don't hate non binary people or anything, but it's obvious when non binary people are there for nothing else other then the fact they're non binary, and it adds nothing to the story. People are forcing LGBT characters into stories for no other reason other then the fact they're LGBT. For instance, there's a side quest in Rejuvenation, that involves a shy boy who gives you a love letter to deliver to another person. Here's the surprise though, the "other person" is a boy. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, but the snarky reply the boy who gave you the letter gives you is just confirming what I'm saying. It's something along the lines of: "I'm a guy. So what?" Here's what's what. This side quest only pushes the fact that their gay in your face. You get nothing out of it. It holds no relevance to the story, and it's not even a fun side quest to do. I won't say them being gay wasn't a surprise, but I won't say it was a good one either. If anything, this only stirs more hate against gays. I'll stop there because now I'm treading into dangerous territory, but please think about this Game devs and writers and what not. Does the character being straight, gay, non binary, a sentient sun, transgender, a black hole, a satellite, or a toilet seat impact the story at all? Does it hold any meaning? If it doesn't, reconsider the character and go from there.
I'd actually like to hear about what people have to say about LGBT characters being forced into fiction and whatnot. They want to be treated normally right? So why force them in?

The another issue is that Electric types that actually have roles other than "Fast Frail Special Sweeper" are a bit hard to come by. Electric's other sorta role it covers is somewhat, strange bulky slow things.
Basically, they lack a breadth of options due to as mentioned above shallowish movepools, and shallow role diversity. There's tools there it's just there's not a lot to pick through.
They are the type that probably suffers the most from the fact that so many in their fold are just so strikingly similar that it mostly down to statlines being better. -

IDK how i'd feel if Melia was Mosely. I mean, it would be cool. But as we find out later about what she does in her absence, it wouldn't really make sense for her to just be fucking around punching people with a Pangoro.

IDK to be honest. In Reborn, Rejuv, AND Desolation, there's never been a special effect for the Graveyard which kinda gets me mad.

That's cool, but I don't see how my Medusa thing doesn't make any sense. It has multiple heads, Medusa had snakes for hair. Snakes have heads, therefore, she had multiple heads. Sure, it's way less cool and makes less sense that what you suggested, but I'm pretty sure it still has some validity.

What I was trying to make clear was what their effect on the environment, was, is, and will be. If PULSE Hydreigon grows more heads, it's just going to become a cannon, exactly like Clawitzer. We already have an incredibly bulky PULSE Swalot/Tangrowth. I think Hydreigon losing his Hydra theme, and getting more of a Medusa theme is just cooler. Besides, they're both in Greek myth. So it makes some sense.

Yeah, but after Pokemon Insurgence, I think it's time for Hydreigon to actually use his heads instead of just growing more. Besides, there's already a PULSE Clawitzer that's a canon, a PULSE Hydreigon that only grows extra heads is redundant and boring.

Hi again guys. As the title says, this is the second version of this type of post. I think that made sense grammatically and whatnot. Regardless of my D in English, feel free to drop your field effect ideas in here. I remade this thread because my old one has been collecting some dust, but while it was alive, people seemed to love it. So here's another one. As always, I'll kick it off with one of the 23, I mean, of the few field effects I've created that I believe are somewhat balanced. Oh yeah, also, don't make fields needlessly one sided and OP. Remember, the player should be able to use field effects as well. Graveyard- This field would go with my fakemon, Unleashed Spiritomb. Just know that it's op and it can abuse this field. Also, Feel free to come up with characters, stories, whatever you want to go with the field. Fakemon. You name it. It's all fun and games anyway. I love bold, italics, and Italians. Special Message. Very important before posting.
