  1. I'll also probably take azurill away from the normal type team, seeing as a rock and fighting type, and charmeleon's dragon rage will be your best bets going through this gym, and azurill easily takes care of all 3.

If I ever make a hardcore mode though, look forward to that.

  2. I'll probably announce the game in a week or two once I've decided

  3. Alright, so

My "interesting place", route one, cave, small town, route two, bigger yet still small town, version ending gym battle.

    That sounds good I hope.

Now the idea is to hopefully get more then 1hr 30min+ of gameplay.

I hope I'm not dreaming to big here.

  4. House Field- "You should probably leave"

1.5% boost to all flying type attacks.

"The ceiling fan boosts the attack!"

1.5% to all Fire type attacks.

"The thermostat goes all the way up!"

1.5% boost to all Water type attacks.

"The Sink and Bath aid the attack!"

1.5% boost to all electric type attacks

"The attack draws energy from a nearby plug!"

1.5% boost to all bug type attacks.

"The hidden bugs and roaches crawl out to aid the attack!"

1.5% to all dark type attacks. (Credit to Ice Cream Sand Witch"

    "The lights went out!"

1.5% to all steel type attacks.

"Hey! Put the fork down! That's cheating!"

1.5% boost to all Fairy type attacks.

"The comforting aura of a house boosts the attack!"

1.5% boost to all Psychic type attacks.

"The kid doing his homework upstairs uses his brain power to aid the attack!"

1.5% boost to all fighting type attacks.

    "Stop breaking everything!"

1.5% boost to all Ice type attacks.

"The freezer and refrigerator help out!"

That's all I have for now. Can't wait to do more with this.

  5. I'm thinking that might be to overpowered for a first gym. Especially considering I'm only planning on one or two routes and maybe one cave before the version ends.

True, so should I change the moves, or take jigglypuff away all together?

Just take away the screen moves.

      Thanks. All feedback is appreciated.

  7. Ok. So I've decided.

First gym leader will be a normal type gym leader with the house field.

  8. I think it's high time for a more "fun" field.

I'm definitely expanding on this field.

      Sceptilespy

Oh! That's really cool actually, I never considered the Rotom forms. Thanks for the idea guys!

    3. Ice Cream Sand Witch

      Ice Cream Sand Witch

This sounds like a really cool field. You could probably find some way to boost every type in this. For example, with Dark: The lights went out!

    4. Sceptilespy

      Sceptilespy

Yeah, boosting every type was my goal. Thanks for the help!

  9. Dead Zone- "The life is sucked out of..., everywhere"

Hoopa-Unbound gets a 2x boost to all of it's attacks.

1.5% boost to all Ghost type attacks

"The undead are powerful in this lifeless hell..."

1.2% boost to all Dark type attacks

    "BOO!"

    Hyperspace Fury becomes Hyperspace Genocide.

    2.0% boost to Hyperspace Genocide

All Pokémon not Dark or Ghost type lose 1/12 of their health every round

0.2% decrease to Fairy Type moves.

    "The light means nothing here"

Dazzling Gleam turns the field into a Holy Field.

So this field is pretty straight forward, and it's quite obvious the Pokémon this is intended for. I'll probably be making a LOT of updates on these fields. And most of these fields are lategame concepts I've come up with a while ago. So bear with me please.

  10. Razed Field- "Destruction surrounds the battlefield"

1.2% boost to Sludge Bomb, Sludge wave, Steam Eruption, Air slash, Air cutter, Muddy Water, and Surf

"The pollution around guides the attack!"

"The destruction around boosts the attack!"

    3.0% boost to Smog

    "The smog around is gathered..."

0.5% decrease to all Fairy moves

"The poisonous air dilutes the attack..."

Brave bird, Double-Edge, Wild Charge, Volt Tackle, Light of ruin, Head Smash, High Jump Kick, and Jump kick become 50% accurate, regardless of original accuracy.

1.5% boost to all special fire moves.

"Must there be a reason fire moves are boosted here?"

    Fissure now becomes 50% accurate.

Surf and Muddy Water gain poison typing.

1.5% boost to all special poison type moves.

"The attack uses to toxic air to strengthen itself!"

The following attacks will turn the field into a Post-Raze field and get a 4.0% boost: Earthquake, Eruption, Steam Eruption, Earth power, Draco meteor, Hurricane, and Surf

    "Nature's Wrath is upon us"

0.5% decrease to all water type attacks.

"The water evaporates in the intense heat..."

Well then. That one is a bit crazy. Don't worry though, nobody is going to see that one for a long, long time. And when that person does, please, just break the field. Do it for everybody you care about. There's no reason to let this go on.

  11. Now idk how to implement field effects and whatnot, and how to make new ones, but that's what experimenting is for

    1. Sarun

      Sarun

It's pretty easy, actually. Take a look at the implementation of moves such as Electric Terrain or Gravity and make a version of it with whatever effects you desire and don't add the end-of-turn timer to make it permanent.

    2. Sceptilespy

      Sceptilespy

      Alright, thanks!

  12. Ok. So after some tinkering. And some planning. I've come out with the plot for my fangame. Or at least version 1.

(BTW, the name is probably going to be "Pokémon Reset" or something like that, as it will involve some time travel)

  13. Yeah, this is cool. I just wanted some idea of when it's potentially coming out.
  14. So uh. Any progress on version 9? I hate to be that dude, since I'm not helping to develop it in any way. Maybe an estimation of when a beta will be released? 3 months? Idk. I just need some update.
  15. Lmao, that was me. If "Xfurce" is the user you're thinking of. I say this because I remember commenting something like that.
  16. Things I need:

    1. Programs on how to get started.

    2. Knowledge on how to use said programs.

    1. Cool Girl

      Cool Girl
