  1. Stop! You violated the Law. Pay the court a fine or serve your sentence. Your stolen goods are now forfeit.

      Then Pay with your blood!

  2. If Oblivion is released for the Nintendo Switch, I’ll take back anything bad I said about Bethesda...

    Until they screw up again.

  3. Replace everyone's Up B with Teleport. Then Buff Teleport so that it has the following qualities: Users can immediately act out of Teleport and do whatever they want, including Teleport. It becomes essentially an infinite Recovery tool. It also has a frame one hitbox that deals 10 frames of hitstun and a constant amount of knockback similar to Fox's Melee Shine. If they teleport and happen to teleport into an opponent, the Opponent takes no knockback and 20 frames of hitstun and 16% damage. Teleport also has no lag when used into the ground. There we go. Perfectly balanced... as all things should be.
  4. It is very possible that Perry swung something at Dr Doofensmirtz like one would swing a sword. I don’t remember every episode of Phineas and Ferb, but I can say that much. Generic Anime SwordPlatypus. He literally studied Kendo as a Martial Art, how is he not a Generic Anime Swordsman?
  5. If you think about it, the Persona franchise is actually more Weaboo than Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

At least Xenoblade Chronicles 2 doesn’t mix Japanese Honorifics in the English dub.

  6. “Cigarettes are good for the environment because they kill people.” - someone, somewhere.

  7. I wonder how going back in time, when I'm the age of a preschooler and just about to enter preschool, but I have the intelligence and reasoning skills of my current, somewhat more mature self be like.

I'd outsmart everyone in the class by a long shot. I'd also probably disturb the teacher with my somewhat more advanced philosophy skills.

School was always boring, so no issues there. I wouldn't be bored to death because I'm just better than everyone else at academics.

And my parents would be so proud of their little prodigy, that maybe they'd let me buy as many video games as I want. At that time, The Playstation 2 and Gamecube would be out, and I'd have a wide library to choose from.

As someone who was top of the class, I reassure you that you would still be bored to death even if you're good at the subjects.

also I doubt if preschool teachers are going to engage in philosophical debates with preschoolers, and besides they're obligated to shut you down if you ever try to talk back to prevent children from getting rebellious

If you could go back in time like that, then really, just enjoy reliving your youth again. Try avoiding the great mistakes you did before, and get yourself a childhood with less regrets than before.

I mean, I’m already bored regardless of how difficult my academics are. It really makes no difference. That’s what I meant.

  8. The next Xenoblade game should remove Jiggle physics entirely.

It’s more of a problem in 2, but I had Sharla were the diver outfit for a period of time because it was a superior combat option for some reason. It was... uncomfortable. And the Jiggle Physics made it worse. As soon as I got something better, I made Sharla equip it.

  9. I don’t feel like purchasing the game anymore. I’ll just wait for Shin Megami Tensei V news, and spend my money on that.
  10. Maybe Dunban should be Shulk's echo fighter.

He uses the Monado, but he only has three arts. And he damages himself everytime he uses it. Like Pichu.

  11. Real life Law is more likely to find a real culprit than Ace Attorney law.

But man is it significantly more boring.

If Ace Attorney stuck to realism, then its gameplay would probably have been boring, and its narrative wouldn't have worked as well as it did.

Grossberg's hemorrhoids definitely wouldn't be doing the Harlem Shake irl

  12. Barney the Dinosaur is indeed a Generic Anime Swordsman. All of Gamefaqs agrees, so it must true. This renders the entire character infected with "GenericAnimeSwordmanitis" He's drawn comparisons to Sonic The Hedgehog, protagonist of Sonic and the Black Knight. Sonic uses a Sword to get through that game. This means that Sonic is indeed a Generic Anime Swordsman, and by comparison, Crash Bandicoot is as well. At 1:00, you can clearly see Yuffie use her Shuriken like it's a sword. And this is an Anime Opening. And by Association with Cloud, my main and a Generic Anime Swordman in his own right, Yuffie is a Generic Anime Swordswoman. Another Final Fantasy VII Comparison. At 6:00, Sephiroth uses his sword to send Cloud into the air. Cataquacks are known for sending Mario up in the air. By association with Sephiroth, I declare the entire Cataquack race a bunch of Generic Anime Swordsmen. You mean Overwatch before Overwatch? He's among the most well known and recognizable characters in Team Fortress 2, sort of like... Genji! You know who Genji is a rip off of? Gray Fox from Metal Gear. You know what Gray Fox is? A Generic Anime Swordsman! Another path you may consider is the fact that the Genji Glove is a recurring Final Fantasy Item. Final Fantasy is full of Generic Anime Swordsmen who use the Genji glove. Cyan, Zack Fair, Cecil, Locke (Knife = Tiny Sword). By association with Overwatch, and in turn, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid (And by extension, Elder Scrolls, because "Grey Fox"), two non nintendo franchises who somehow have characters in Smash, I declare Heavy a Generic Anime Swordsman.
  13. Some people say that: Why can’t we romance Melly? Why only Venam Snake? I ask the opposite: Can we get a Persona game with a social link that involves a girl who doesn’t fall heads over heels in love with the main character? Also, Black Godot is in this game. What a surprise. When’s Phoenix Wright coming?
  14. I actually don’t think Persona 3 The Answer was really bad, honestly. I don’t feel like any characters were ruined. Just going through an emotional time, with Minato dying and all.

Junpei’s character development actually came to a head here. He’s actually the voice of reason among the group.

I kind of do hate having to beat up the dog and the eleven year old.

But both Koromaru and Ken had steadfast resolves, and I respect them for it.

  15. While the original Gods Not Dead was offensive and pandering, and as a result just painful to watch...

God’s not dead 2 is just woefully stupid. It has its entertaining moments, so it’s slightly less bad. Still pandering to Christians, but at least the Muslim stereotype was removed.

  16. Full moon kinda sucks, though. I kinda wish the Main character just remained silent. It probably would be better off if Melly was the main character instead of Luna, but then again, I don’t know.
  17. It's pretty much impossible for me to play Pokemon Rejuvenation and not make Xenoblade comparisons.

So from now on, as I announced in the Discord server, I'm referring to Melia as "Melly".

  18. Current Society prioritizes messages and representation over good storytelling.

It’s one of the reasons a lot of movies today turn out bad and still get critical success.

I hate it. I want a story that makes me feel, or think. If you want messages, then fine. But putting Messages over Story is guaranteed to give you a preachy, boring Movie or Book.

And it’s made its way into our Video games. A game can still sustain itself with good gameplay, but story is still part of the package. Prioritizing Messages over Story will make the story suck, and weaken the overall package.

      Candy

I know what you mean. I don't think messages + representation and good story telling are mutually exclusive, but for whatever reason good storytellers tend to be those who don't care for representation... as though they couldn't create stories without their characters looking a certain way 🤔

  19. Of all the Metal Gear games, why was Metal Gear Solid 3 chosen to be on the Nintendo 3DS?

Is it because it was the most popular?

  20. You know when you come across an Anime that isn't technically good, but you end up enjoying yourself anyway?

That's what "Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon" is to me. Its really average, especially in comparison to its light novel. But I still enjoy it, as stupid as it is.

It's the most 6/10 Anime I ever watched.

But My actual Score is a "More Competent than Akame ga Kill and Sword Art Online" out of 10. At least the writing and script is decent.

I'm also glad it isn't an Isekai. As a result, Bell does feel more like a natural part of his surroundings than an Isekai protagonist.

  21. Been a while since I checked this forum. No V5, but Caz changed his profile pic. That means he's alive.
  22. I bet someone here actually named their main character Shulk for obvious reasons. Or Alvis. Maybe they didn’t want an internet meme as their Protagonist. I did the normal thing and named the protagonist of my recent playthrough “Amalthus”.
  23. The concept of Life After Death is something we humans created because we can’t comprehend our own nonexistence.

All that remains after death is our dead body, our impact on the world (good or bad), And other people’s memories of us.

I apologize if I offended anyone.
