Edmond was frantically defending himself against the onslaught of fell creatures, when he caught sight of Alexandria preparing to attack one of the pillars. He wasn't certain that her efforts would fail, but he had no intention of being nearby if they did. He slowly began to cut his way to the opposite side of the enclosure, avoiding the larger beasts as muh as possible. He received numerous small cuts on his hands, but other than that he remained unharmed.
