  1. The dust settled, leaving an extremely disappointed Halley and an equally disappointed guard facing each other once more. "Tsk, I don't have all day!" Halley fired another paralyzing shot at the guard. Action: Blaster - Paralyzer against Leopard Guard F.
  2. "This vest's better than I had expected." Halley patted her vest and stepped a few feet closer to the wall. She took a deep breath and yelled, "Hey, sucker! Take a load of this!" She bent her knees slightly and opened fire at the guard relentlessly. Action: Basic Attack on Leopard Guard F.
  3. "Urgh, of course!" Halley fired at the floor, trying to break free from the guard's grip with the blasts' knockback. Should it succeed, she'll somersault away from the guard and shoot a paralyzing shot at the guard. Action: Break Free. If successful, use Blaster - Paralyzer on Leopard Guard F.
  4. "Well, there's our ticket home," Emmanuel said, "I'm not in a hurry, though. I wonder if the Exeggutor came with a few Exeggcute." He curiously paced around the base of the Exeggutor. "When one of its heads grow big enough, it'll fall down and grow into an Exeggcute. Give it enough time and you can get a dozen of Exeggcute in your backyard!" He noted excitedly, as he looked around the room for Exeggcute.

  7. Halley jumped down right away and rolled aside to give space for others to land. Once the others had landed, she said, "The guards are probably concentrated on the floor where we entered right now. We gotta use this chance to cut to the elevator." She turned to the couple's hasty escape. "Well... that can't be good. We can't wait for the lava to sink further down, either; the guards will eventually catch up." "So, here's the plan: I'll lead and run for the closer elevator shaft; there's one on both ends of the hallway. The last of us that leaves this room will bring down the hallway ceiling right behind us." She stepped before the wide-open door that the couple had left. "With the mess that I made, you guys probably wouldn't want to trust me on this one. But, well, bear with me, alright?" She made a run for it, shooting streams of energy blasts at every guard in her way.
  8. Emmanuel followed Meggie into the house, but the first thing that caught his attention was the loud crash. He followed Meggie and found the place where the palm tree was. Radovan, Shelly and Kai were stacked on top of each other by the tree. One of them clearly tried to climb up the tree, and Emmanuel was willing to bet that it was the enthusiastic one. Now much closer to the tree, he could examine it much more easily. The trunk reminded him of that of an Exeggutor's. His eyes rolled up to the 'coconuts', with a sleepy face on all of them. "You're... an Exeggutor!" He exclaimed. "Oh, no problem." Emmanuel gave the girl a smile. "So, are you fine with having an Exeggutor this tall sticking out of your house?"
  9. "O-Okay, that was a lot more damage than what I had anticipated in the beginning." Halley crawled up from the smashed remains of the dragon, holding her left arm with her right. "Hey, Lexiel, can you... do the healing thing you did yesterday? Preferably on the move, because... we won't have much time until the guards catch up to us." "Useless map... " She thought as she realized how loose the map was. She decided to count on the elevator location being accurate, as, after all, it was the most important facility for a pyramid this tall. She opened the door, leaning against it. "We're going to take a shortcut. Are you all comfortable with sliding along an elevator shaft?" She peeked out of the door, checking if the security had already caught up.
  10. "Lexiel, their security is weaker in the south front of the building. Let's approach from there!" Halley pointed south. "Say, how many holes can this baby blast open? If we make a lot of holes at once, it'll give them an impression of a massive raid." She suggested. "Their forces will probably be dispersed and distracted by the exterior commotion, giving us room to infiltrate." "I'll take a bit of time to upload a little something to Aztech's computers later on. It's a part of the deal to get the cameras off us. Don't worry about me, alright?"
  11. Your Mega Silvally actually has more potential than just being a wallbreaker / sweeper. For example, in the tank set, you can have max Defense or Special Defense instead of max Attack, further amplifying its defensive prowess. All in all, a pretty cool design. Though... a Mega Evolution like Mega Rayquaza... that gives me a few ideas. Mega Articuno Type: Ice / Flying Ability: Arctic Grace (Summons Snowstorm upon entering the field. Snowstorm: Negates Ice-type weaknesses. Disables weather moves and weather abilities like Drizzle from activating. Hurricane, Thunder and Blizzard always hit. Inflicts type-scaling damage to non ice-types every turn. Neutral: 1/8, 2x Effective: 1/4, 4x Effective: 1/2, 2x Resist: 1/16, 4x Resist: 1/32. Activates other Hail-based abilities as well. Lasts until the user switches out or faints.) HP: 90 Atk: 85 Def: 100 -> 140 (+40) SpA: 95 -> 115 (+20) SpD: 125 -> 165 (+40) Spe: 85 BST: 580 -> 680 (+100) New Tutor Move (Required for Mega Evolution): Flash Freeze (90 BP, 100% Accuracy, 10 BP. The user freezes the opponent with a violent burst of wind. Super effective against Water-types. 20% chance to freeze, 40% if against Water-types) "Ice-type Pokemon should always be offensive. I don't know why GF always make them into trashy defensive mons." Behold, the shafted legendary bird, back again to snow on your parade! With its new ability, Arctic Grace, it is able to remedy Ice's poor weaknesses and become a defensive demon! Effectively, it only has two weaknesses, Electric and Rock, both of which can be further remedied by Roost. It is now resistant to Bug, Fighting, Grass, Ice and immune to Ground. The immensely improved defensive stats whips Articuno into a defensive demon tougher than Skarmory and Mantine combined! Its new tutor move, Flash Freeze, is a super-powered Freeze-Dry that will strike fear to every bulky water-type that dares to challenge Articuno's might. However, as usual, it is not without faults. Being an Ice / Flying type gives it a nasty 4x Stealth Rock weakness, which isn't covered by Arctic Grace. Wall sets also face problems against Steel-types. However, beyond that, it is almost unstoppable. The naturally high base speed allows it to set up Substitutes in front of other tanks. It can even use Heal Bell to heal its status! Icicle is Unbreakable (Wall) Global Cooling (Offensive) Mega Moltres coming to you in the near future~ and probably Zapdos too even though I don't want to improve on an already-good Pokemon
  12. "Huh, nice dragon. I'm all for a grand entrance." Halley answered. She hopped onto the dragon's back. "What can it do, though? Breathe fire?" She asked, looking at the defenses of the building. She called the map data which she had obtained earlier and checked each floor over and over.
  13. "Are we still going to sneak into that place?" Halley asked, "The councillor may have given Aztechnology the information on us, after all. The SIN might be useless by now."
  14. I think there was a similar thread awhile ago, but that didn't get into details such as stats and movepools. Anyway, here's my take. Alolan Durant Type: Bug / Fire Ability: Blaze / Flash Fire / Flambé (This Pokemon's contact moves have a 30% chance of burning) (HA) HP: 58 Atk: 109 -> 119 (+10) Def: 112 -> 82 (-30) SpA: 48 SpD: 48 Spe: 109 -> 129 (+20) BST: 484 A colony of Durant sneaked into Alola from a cargo ship several decades ago. They were problematic bunches, chewing off wooden houses like there was no tomorrow. In response, the locals prepared a huge number of Magmar and Magmortar, razing their colonies one by one. However, the Durant adapted faster than the locals could, using the blazing fires to fuel their fury. The situation got so out of hand that an entire village got burned down due to the rampant Durant. Then, one day, a sage came to the Alolans' aid. Her Pokemon's mystical flames lured the Durant out of their colonies one by one. However, instead of killing all of them, she decided to take them to the Wela Volcano, saving both sides' lives. From there, the Durant population was controlled naturally by the Fire-type competitors, and slowly, their numbers dwindled to a mere ten thousand. They now take shelter within the volcano crater, where they feed off the everlasting flames bursting out of the volcano and the occasional Alolan Diglett that passes by underground. Having discarded their armors, they've lost a significant amount of defense, but they became much more dangerous in return, capable of spreading burns like wildfire. LEARNSET: By leveling up: By TM/HM: By breeding: Why yes, that's 30% chance of Burn with every U-Turn.
  15. Hm, you got a point there. Compromising Mega Meganium's speed doesn't hurt much. Mega Slaking Type: Normal Ability: Getting Up (The Pokemon goes to sleep upon Mega Evolution or entering the field for two turns, overriding other status aliments. All of its stats rise by 1 stage upon waking up. Sleep counter resets if switched in again.) HP: 150 Atk: 160 -> 190 (+30) Def: 100 -> 120 (+20) SpA: 95 -> 105 (+10) SpD: 65 -> 85 (+20) Spe: 100 -> 120 (+20) BST: 670 -> 770 (+100) The greatest slacker of Hoenn finally decides to show the world what it is really made of! Its stats received a well-rounded boost, and it got a new ability that replaces its laziness with another bit of laziness, one that most people certainly share with the Kong! Getting Up is a boon and a harm at the same time, although more on the boon side. During sleep, it is immune to nasty status aliments like burn and paralysis, which helps it a lot against common status users. When it wakes up, it gets a powerful boost that further amplifies its already-amazing stats. However, during the sleep turns, it will have to rely on Sleep Talk to avoid being too passive. It is also vulnerable to Disable users like Mega Gengar, who will shut Sleep Talk down and chew off the slacker's dreams. On top of that, it is still very vulnerable against Fighting-types and Fighting-type coverage such as Focus Blast, so it will certainly appreciate a Ghost-type teammate like Giratina to get those out of the way. Meta of the Apes (Standard Ubers Offensive) There are many other options for Mega Slaking, as its expansive movepool allows many sets to function properly. For example, a RestTalk set, while seemingly redundant, is actually an amazing stallbreaker set, able to abuse the boost from waking up over and over against a stall team or a team with Slaking checks already gone. Slaking is also able to function well in Doubles and Triples with Heal Bell / Aromatherapy support, eliminating the need of Sleep Talk.
  16. "Hey, we're almost there!" Emmanuel exclaimed as he pointed at the shabby house with an abnormally tall tree sticking out of it... a palm tree? He could see a few coconuts hung on top of it. He was instantly reminded of a DM of the Wailuda Triangle Resort. The cover art had a young man in swimming trunks, relaxing comfortably on top of the white sand. Behind him were lush Watmel bushes and Nanab trees. A tall palm tree could be seen in a distance, with two children playing below it. The rest of the DM showed all kinds of facilities in the resort, which included an aquarium branded as 'absolutely safe' and, for some reasons, a water park. He couldn't keep his mind on the luxurious vacation plan, though, as getting to academy and enrolling was a huge economical undertaking for him already. He ran up to the house and knocked its door.
  17. Halley was left in shock with two of the three weapons looking outright hazardous to hold. Luckily, she wasn't planning on using any of the three. "A-At least, the shotgun's safe to touch, right?" She said. She could feel some otherworldly force slapping her mentally when she uttered the word 'shotgun'. "Anyway, I think you guys can use them better. They, uh, don't suit me." She awkwardly gave an excuse before hopping back into the van and getting seated.
  18. 1. Why did you choose (insert username) as your display name? I was reading a Fire Emblem Let's Play when I was thinking about what name to go with. Since the LPer mentioned IntSys (Intelligent Systems, the company that made the Fire Emblem series) a lot, I kinda just went with it.2. If you won 100000 dollars/euros/pesos/etc in a lottery, what would you do with it? I'd probably just donate it. People change when they realize that you're rich, and keeping it a secret is also pretty bothersome.3. How do you spend majority of your free time? Surf the Internet. Yes I'm a boring person.4. What are your favorite songs? Mashups and VGMs. Here's one. 5. Have you ever had your first kiss? If so, at what age? Do kisses with parents count? And, do kisses have to be lip-to-lip? If parents don't count, the answer is a solid no.6. What is your motivation in living life everyday? Every day is a step toward my goals. 7. What is better: school or work? I haven't actually worked yet, so I wouldn't know. If I were to guess, though, it depends on the school. My junior high years have been the worst up to this point in my life, not a week went by without hearing teachers yelling in class, and I lived under unnerving pressure from a mix of appeasement and tolerance toward my teachers and peers. School also ended in eight o' clock, worsening the problem. Though, from what others said, work can be much more of a nightmare than this, so just take my opinion with a grain of salt.8. What is your favorite pokemon type and pokemon? Normal, Porygon-Z.9. Who is your favorite fictional character? Why? I don't have one in mind, actually.10. Are you: the type of person who would give if someone asked you or the type of person who would approach the person needing something or neither? I'm the former. I usually can't find a good reason not to give.
  19. "Oh, it's just an armory." Halley watched as the drones took the fancy weapons back to the van. She followed them back to the van, but before she even got the chance to inspect the weapons up close, Lexiel had already started working on upgrading them. Compared to Mar, Lexiel was certainly more energetic and optimistic about her crafts. Halley simply stood next to Lexiel and observed quietly.
  20. "Thanks for the free bag, mister~" Halley took paper bag with her, thinking it was a gift. She hopped down the van. "Where are we anyway?" She followed the man to the cottage.
  21. Halley nodded lightly. "I've never rode a dragon, but hey, I'm familiar with grand entrances. Count me in." She answered. "By the way, aren't we missing someone?" She shut the doors as she wondered and put on a seatbelt.
  22. "The replay explained everything." Halley answered. "This is what I fight for. Call me- " A stream of replays interrupted her mid-sentence, consisting of a barrage of adjectives, from "naive" and "idiotic" to "cold-blooded" and "extremist", all from various sources. Visrii would be able to discern a familiar voice among all of these replays. "The world I'm from has law enforcement, too. They catch Mavericks, they put them to jail, they break out, repeat. I fight to stop the cycle. To do that, I won't tolerate any single one of them. I fight to stop what the law ignored." "I'll put aside my values as long as I'm with this team, if it means to end this feud." She shut her eyes and leaned against the side of the van.
  23. Halley groaned and hopped into the getaway van. She looked at her blaster, rather disappointed by it failing to even faze the cyborgs. The headshot she saw back in the bar was especially concerning, though. The Austrian man found them again, after all.
  24. As soon as the first bullet glazed Halley's vest, she was kicked back into combat mode. She immediately unwrapped her ribbons and began parrying the bullets at an inhuman rate. The bullets were scattered everywhere, forming piles of empty bullets on the ground. Some managed to hit the vest, only to cause minor damage due to the vest's durability. "THAT'S IT! I'VE HAD IT!" She fired a sparkling burst of flares, scattering all over the firing line and creating several blinding explosions. She used the opportunity and went for the exit one more time.
