  1. Mandatory healer. Not healer anymore. Well, at least not now.
  2. "You clearly don't know me enough, if that's a gift," Halley took the book off her head. She really wanted to just throw the book at him, but that would probably backfire easily. "Unless, well, you're going to explain this book to me."
  3. Pure Water is because of the fact that the actual Pure Water (nothing but H2O) is non-conductive, which explains the electric immunity. I also want to keep Simipour purely Water-type, since I want to make the other monkeys pure Fire and Grass as well. Besides, the ability is already good enough; it doesn't need another STAB.
  4. Good lord that is a monster. Anyway, to celebrate the return of this thread, I'll give you this! Mega Simipour Type: Water Ability: Pure Water (This Pokemon's Water power is 2x; This Pokemon is immune to Electric) HP: 75 Atk: 98 -> 108 (+10) Def: 63 -> 88 (+25) SpA: 98 -> 108 (+10) SpD: 63 -> 88 (+25) Spe: 101 -> 131 (+30) BST: 498 -> 598 (+!00) Simipour is able to generate completely-pure water around itself through the help of Mega Evolution, increasing the power of its water moves as well as getting rid of one of its weaknesses, Electric! This means it only has exactly one weakness! Unfortunately, one of its biggest problems still persisted, and that would be its incapability to deal with Grass types. A STAB-less Ice Beam doesn't stand particularly well against the generally specially-bulky Grass-types, and Gunk Shot has a shaky accuracy. On top of that, if it's not running a special set, it would face problems with Water-types as well! Fountain of Dreams (Specially Offensive) Niagara Falls (Physical Sweeper)
  5. Halley gave up on the book and turned her eyes back to reality. She figured that she should just return the book to Solomon. Everyone had already dispersed around the fortress, but she could see him walking into the barracks, so she followed. Once close enough, she simply returned the book to him by pushing it against him. She turned to the little girl standing before Solomon. "Oh. Sorry for interrupting your... thing." She backed away, keeping a safe distance away from the two.
  6. Tai Tai sighed and entered the exit. He made his way to the food car, grabbed some hefty, juicy drumsticks, and sat down on an empty seat by the window. Gnawing the drumsticks really reduced the unease for him. Now 'that' is out of the way, I have another question. Who are you, really? You were able to project power through me, creating barriers and doing whatever that was to Temperance. Last time I checked, that wasn't something that a normal human could do.
  7. Emmanuel snapped right back as the elevator arrived. Before him, a little girl stood before him. She was particularly short, perhaps even shorter than Emmanuel was. He thought that he would be the youngest of the group, but it looked like that was about to change. Who knew, though. Maybe she would've been a mere waitress-to-be? That was still somewhat reassuring, though. He dragged his lab coat behind his feet as he walked before the girl. "Hello, Cathode, I'm Emmanuel. Are you going to brief us on our mission? Or are you going to be our boss from now?" Needless to say, he had high expectations for strangers around the city.
  8. Halley bounced up from the pile of books. "That was FUN!" she exclaimed. She looked back to the others. Apparently, there was nothing to do but wait until the 'officers' return. She figured that she should at least pretend to be occupied, so she took out Solomon's book, titled 'Assassinomocron', and made an honest attempt at figuring out the contents of the book. (Inactive for 11 days. Halley will follow the group once the intermission ends.)
  9. Emmanuel was rather suspicious about the man and the woman's behavior. Not just that, but they together just felt esoteric, as if they had many stories to tell. What's more, they said that they weren't reading his mind. It could either be a lie or something else. Future Sight? The picture showed great contrasts to him. Was it the white that stood out, or the black that stood out? His answer leaned toward the former, but he couldn't help but think that there was more to the bizarrely-placed darkness behind what appeared to be a glowing tree. He followed Kadabra, and spent the next minutes and on thinking about the picture.
  10. Tai False one? Tai was particularly startled. Was that what I was fighting? His eyes rolled back to the girl - no, it was at best a simulation of one, at its current state. He began to step back, nearing the exit. The distressful air quickly turned into one of horror. It was as if he was face-to-face with some sort of an eldritch horror, some sick magician's work. I, uh, I don't think we should leave her like this. She's definitely not supposed to be like this. To the rest of us, at least. For a moment, the thought of ending the wretched thing's life flashed by, and perhaps, that would've been the best thing he could do. What would be the point of letting it keep its façade?
  11. Tai "A-Are you okay?" Tai asked. "I'm no therapist, but you're definitely... wrong. Was the heat too strong for you?" he placed Temperance's hand back onto her chest, as if he was dealing with a fragile statue. It was starting to become a genuine concern, but he could only do so much before eventually giving up. Okay, Cardinal, what's wrong with her? She was nothing like this. I'm not even sure if I'm talking to the same person anymore!
  12. "O-Oh, you could read my mind?" Emmanuel exclaimed, "well, I do appreciate your effort here, but it would help us a lot more if you could explain to us what you do here." His eyes slowly drifted toward the colorful wall arts. He instinctively took out his A-Comm and quickly took pictures of them. All the intricate artworks on the walls were like a whole new world to little Emmanuel... a world that he could never live in. The excitement slowly turned into a mild taste of sadness.
  13. Tai The sudden change in atmosphere flinched Tai for a second. "H-Hi there, Temperance," he hastily replied. "I thought that I should at least pay some respect to a thoroughly-burnt opponent." He had seen burned fighters for who knows how many times, but it was certainly different this time around. They would stare at him with unspeakable anger and malice, not just greet him with a mundane tone. Come to think of it, he had heard the exact same tone when he first faced her in the arena. Her tone changed completely when he got her out of the armor. It was almost as if he was fighting two different persons... personalities? She probably just need a little bit of fresh air. That was the conclusion Tai made, so he stepped to Temperance's bed and showed his hand to her. "Aside from the little accident back then, it was a good game. So, how about a handshake?" he sent her the darnedest smile he could muster.
  14. Halley pulled her attention to the circled group. She looked for the part of the enemy formation that was pulled thinner than the other parts and shot a paralyzing burst there, causing the formation to soften. "Push through there!" She yelled at the circled group through her megaphone, hoping to get the message through.
  15. Tai Cardinal's sudden change of tone was alerting to say the least. Tai was rather intrigued, though. There seemed to be much more in the girl he fought. "Sure," he stood up and stretched his arms and legs for a bit, trying to feel less like a sorry corpse. After picking up his strength again, he walked into the teleporter and paid a visit to Temperance's room. With Temperance's words of anger in mind, he had more or less expected an immediate barrage of curses waiting for him.
  16. Tai Tai lied on his seat limply, like a puddle of molten wax dripping from a table. Cardinal's words rang, as if dragging him back to reality. I... I'm sure you're super confused right now, and... I'll explain everything if you want. But I want you to know that I protected you today because I didn't- I just didn't want you to get hurt. "... Hurt? You can't possibly think that I made my way up here without getting hurt, can you?" he retorted, "I got here not because of divine protection, but because of my solid, steel-melting punches!" He sighed, realizing that he might have been too harsh with the remarks, "what's with all the concerns anyway? Aside from the little promise we had, we're almost total strangers," he reached out for the edge of the table and supported himself as he got back up. Much to his dismay, he had been absolutely drained after lashing out against the icy rinks; it took him a good ten seconds to get up. "If anything, you should be more worried about the girl. Temperance, was it? I'd take a hammer to the chest over a third-degree burn all day."
  17. The approaching heat was a huge warning for Halley. While the fireballs were put down by the spider's webs, she figured that she should join the ghost-like woman's assault. She tried to get a good aim from above and fired at the spell-casting officers repeatedly, leaving a mess of explosions and smokes. Knowing her own gun's capabilities, she didn't expect them to go down in just a mere bombing raid, but it would still be good damage and hindrance to them.
  18. Emmanuel decided that keeping his mouth shut would be the best at the moment, as anymore words would probably incite Gina's anger out of impatience. The weird door as well as the room were two things that he had never heard of. Though, the man and the woman were just simply silly. He chuckled at them. Whatever this is, you're definitely not taking it seriously. Of course, he quickly hid the smile and tried to maintain some sort of professionalism.
  19. Halley hopped onto Solomon's hovercraft. The battlefield was quite a sight for her; such wars just don't take place anymore in her world, after all. She readied her blaster and fired an array of energy blasts at the skeleton archers, suppressing their fire momentarily. She then took out her megaphone and did the cocky thing. "STAND DOWN, VILLAINS!"
  20. "Always ready!" Halley stretched her limbs, itching for another fight. "Though, one thing. Are we going to fight another army of endless skeletons? That would totally not end well for us, considering that you had to bail us out back there," she questioned.
  21. "Nice... shelter you got here," Halley hopped down the light novels and looked at the charred debris. All the charcoal could be plenty of rudimentary fuel, though not the kind she really needed. "Are you sure that we're not going to lift the siege on the human fortress first? I mean, with all of your fancy fireworks, it'd probably just take a few minutes tops," Halley asked, doubting the woman's priorities. She had more concerns about the safety of the ruins as well, as the skeletons did just watch them as they fled into the ruins. ... And they might be marching toward them as they spent their time here.
  22. The ever-increasing number of monsters was beginning to scare Halley, but then a flying gun-totting woman appeared out of nowhere and smashed a giant crack in the monsters' ranks, leaving Halley absolutely baffled and wordless. She accepted Solomon's offer and took a ride on the book-copter.
  23. How to beat Madame X's Yveltal in Rejuv:
    1) Get a Flash Fire Houndour.
    2) Get anything with Sturdy.

    3) Switch them back and forth. You'll eventually be able to deplete Decimation's PP.

    4) Watch as Yveltal struggle against your wee little Houndour and die.

  24. The pink mist approached Halley. Fear and paranoia crept upon her, as if everyone's eyes were locked at her. Yet, despite the supposed danger around her, she did not counteract out of haste. If the whole ordeal about senator-shooting had taught her anything, it was that she should think twice before acting. "No... this ain't right," she looked around again, and then it struck her. The mist was playing tricks on her! Shouts could be heard throughout the battlefield. They rang so clearly, yet she was only able to hear them just now. "...Great, more monsters. How about you get over here and fight us yourself?" Halley took aim at the beasts that had just arrived and fired a paralyzing shot. Action: Blaster - Paralyzer against Beast Pack, lowering their STR, DEX and RES by [SYN]/2 = 3 for 3 turns.
  25. Solomon's words echoed as Halley's blast collided with the horde. Don't start drinking yet Kid, and use a bigger gun next time, or poison. I wish. She figured that she should just do what was clearly more effective, and that would be crowd control. As the new horde of warriors came into sight, she took aimed at them, before firing a spray of suppressing energy. Action: Sparkling Suppressor on Warrior Horde, dealing [SYN] = 6 damage and disabling Basic Attack and Basic Defense.
