Zoren looks at the meal pass. He did just finish an entire fish... but, would it hurt to try what the cafeteria has to offer? He slides his pass to the cashier and orders a bowl of beef noodle stir fry. He then spends the next five minutes on the modest noodles, before finishing it with a sigh. Things really taste different when you're abroad, even when the names of the dishes are the same. However, the others seem to be quite accustomed to the tastes. "Either I'm too picky, or I really need to travel more... " he mutters, before returning the empty bowl and going to the third floor to get his ID made.

"...Well, that escalated quickly," Halley exclaimed. "Visrii, we're leaving!" she yelled at Visrii, before shooting a handful barrage of energy blasts at the panicking enemies, "Edmond, grab him for me, alright?" She ran for the ruined entrance, somersaulting across everyone in her path.

Halley shrugged away the club. "I've been hit by harder stuffs, mister!" she mocked the guard, "how about you try something else for once? This mace business doesn't seem to be your thing after all!" Action: Scold against Shield Guard B, preventing him from using the same action in a row for three turns. 28% chance to move first.

I am saying the following as an outsider. Take it with a grain of salt, if you will. On top of that, I did type all this an hour before bed, at my peak sleepiness, so yeah. The Manchester attacks were horrible, just as horrible as every single one that had come before it. One would imagine that the frequency of such problems would only lower as everyone would start to learn how to deal with it. One would also imagine that it had also been enough time to see whether a policy was correct or not. After all, it has been over two years since the Charlie Hebdo attack. Evidently and unfortunately, that's not the case at all. Perhaps the only case of "success" would be Hungary, who took an incredibly defensive position as well as a controversial one. However, that's not the success others want. They want the success to be a win-win, one that protects the modern values of human rights. And so, here we are, countries struggling to decide whether to go on the longer, harder path that protects the noble values, or the shorter, easier path that simply shields themselves from the crisis as they 'wait out the storm.' From what I can see, the problem is that the countries that want to go down the longer path is unable to dedicate themselves fully to it. Refugees and non-refugees suffer from the indecisiveness together, as refugees struggle to stand up in a poor work environment and thus creating social unrest, and non-refugees falling victim to the said unrest. But wait, are ISIS operations directly caused by the refugee crisis? Where does ISIS come into play, anyway? It's clear that the suicide bombers in the many terrorist attacks and the people who contributed to the rising crime rate are different groups of people, with the former being of ISIS, and the latter being of refugees. After all, refugees escaped to Europe to live, not to die. It doesn't matter whether there are refugees or not. ISIS doesn't need the guise to get its suicide bombers into Europe. The guise of tourism works just as well, if not, even more effective. We should treat the overall social unrest and the major terrorist attacks separately, as they don't necessarily connect with each other. Though, in that case, why wasn't Hungary attacked? To tell the truth, I don't really know. It might be just that it's not their "turn" yet, and that attacking Hungary would have little to no effect in their campaign. ISIS made it clear that no cities were safe, so we can at least be sure that while the Hungarian policy on refugees did manage to lower social unrest, it is unable to truly prevent terrorism. Then again, there isn't a country that has successfully prevented terrorism so far, and that's a whole different issue to solve. To sum it all up, two things: 1) The countries in Europe should make up their mind on whether to do their best to assist the refugees in their integration, or just push them aside and let the ones who really have the heart to do so take care of them. 2) Refugee issues are independent from ISIS operations, and they should be solved separately. p.s. Note that I've only said refugees, not Muslims. It should go without saying that the Muslims that were already there before the whole crisis has nothing to do with this whole ordeal. It should also go without saying that the fact that they're refugees - people in dire need of asylum - is much more important than the fact that they're Muslims.

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Emmanuel rushed to Solosis' rescue. The powerful Stomp had left a nasty wound on her. He embraced her as he gazed upon Betani's escape. She sure took the words out of Emmanuel. He looked back to Solosis, before running into the HQ as fast as he could. Poochy followed, seemingly sharing Emmanuel's distress. As he ran through the bustling hallways, he ignored every passerby, as if they were just potted plants, for he knew where the clinic was, and he didn't need to ask for directions. After all, it was an important facility in the HQ. -

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Emmanuel's walk would've been uneventful... but unfortunately, that was not the case. Just a mere ten meters away from the rendezvous point, the sound of trouble arose. Emmanuel sent Poochy out right away. She looked up at Emmanuel with a familiar woof. "Hey, Poochy. My friends over there seem to be fighting an invisible foe. I need you to simply sniff them out and cover them in sand." She nodded, before running head straight into the rendezvous point. Meanwhile, Emmanuel rushed to the point, before Solosis revealed herself and raised a protective barrier that envelopes everyone's Pokemon except the invisible foe's. Action: Solosis uses Reflect. Poochy sniffs for the invisible foe and attempts to use Sand Attack to reveal them. -

"Y-You can't be serious, right?" Emmanuel laughed, before reaching out for Radovan's spoon and grabbing it. "I may be younger than you, but I can still do these kinds of things myself," he ate the ice cream. The peanut butter and the dark chocolate mixed together in a splendid fashion, with the sweetness and the bitterness alternating rapidly, like Xerneas and Yveltal's mythical cycle, before eventually grinding to a halt. However, the sweetness and the bitterness did not fade away, they simply coexisted, like Pokemon and humans. "That was... great!" he smiled from the bottom of his heart, "to tell the truth, I never knew that such delicacy is right around the corner. Well, now that I know, thanks!" He put the spoon back to Radovan's plate, before finally starting to lick his Blue Sky ice cream. The dreamy sweetness released from the cream was like heaven, putting Emmanuel in a solid minute of painlessness and ecstasy. As the taste faded, a light guilt resurfaced. He looked at the remaining bits of ice cream on his plate and sighed, but he tried to muster another smile to Radovan. "I'll make it up for you somehow, okay?" He began wandering back to the rendezvous point. -
Halley took out her megaphone and began yelling at the shield guard that shielded the Decker. "Hey, you! You gotta have something else other than that shield, right? Unless, you are here just to be a lousy meatshield!" Action: Provoke against Shield Guard B, disabling non-offensive actions for three turns. 14% chance to move first.

"A plate is okay, thanks!" Emmanuel smiled back, still quite surprised by Radovan's hospitality. He had never felt such hospitality from anyone aside from Solosis. -

"Sweet and soft," Emmanuel replied. To tell the truth, he only remembered this taste from a gummy he ate a long time ago. It consisted of artificial spice, but what else could a kid like him ask for? -

Emmanuel quickly read through the menu. He had no idea what any of the flavors taste like. After a long three seconds of 'Uhh', he gave up and asked Radovan. "Could you pick for me? Anything would do." -

Emmanuel took his A-Comm out as he was dragged by Radovan. He thought about looking up for ice cream stands, but then he realized that he had never really stepped into the streets of Aether City. He shoved it back into his pockets. "Uh, you know where we're going, right?" he asked, as he struggled to keep up with Radovan while trying not to trip on his feet. -

"Ah-aha, ahaha... alright, thanks," Emmanuel took the offer at Radovan's insistence, albeit startled by the sudden display of friendliness. -
"It's them again," Halley fired a paralyzing shot at the chainsaw-wielding guard. Action: Blaster - Paralyzer against Frank, lowering STR, RES and DEX by 3. (Perk) 14% chance to move first.

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Through sleeping, Emmanuel skipped the trip through nothingness. He had experienced it before, an experience that he described as 'raw', like the fabled world before the Big Bang. "...Hm? Oh, already," he woke up and unstrapped the seat belt. "Nexus #00... " he left the drill quickly. The afternoon 'sun' was pleasant. The windless, perpetually sunny skies symbolized peace, and perhaps, ignorance. The citizens of the Aether City lived without worries. Day and night are controlled by the barrier around the perimeter of the city. It was an artificial heaven, but a heaven nonetheless. Albeit, it was half a heaven for him. "Ice cream?" Emmanuel thought for a bit. There was that ice cream shop advertisement he saw before. It had all the exotic flavors that he had never even heard of before. Though, he did look up the process of making an ice cream. "Sorry, Radovan. Maybe next time," he answered. The truth was, he only had enough money to pass a few more days. He had counted on the paychecks that he'd receive with his job as a cadet. He stretched a bit, before following Gina. -

RICHES BEYOND YOUR MILDEST DREAMS, all waiting for some skilled and suave adventurer to sneakily take them away from such a dull and boring place. To put it simply you should play to your strengths and keep your head on a swivel, no giant spider is not going to sneak up on this adventurer...not like it would need to sneak up on you to win a fight anyway.

"Not over yet, huh... " Halley stepped behind the table and locked her blaster against the door. She looked at Lexiel throwing goblins at seemingly nothing, before turning back to the door that was about to go down. She'd fire a paralyzing shot to neutralize the threat behind the door as soon as they appear.

"You're NOT going to make it outside like this," Halley protested, "at least let Lexiel take you up the elevator shaft. You can't climb up on your own." "Oh, by the way, is our getaway vehicle going to be here soon?" she asked the others.

"Visrii, you don't look okay at all. Did that guy put a number on you?" Halley asked, "I can give you a lift. You're not gonna be running fast in your condition," she lent her shoulders to Visrii, suggesting a piggyback ride. Despite how silly the idea may have sounded, she had carried Reploids of similar weight before in rescues.

"Alright, ma'am," Emmanuel nodded and got seated. He quickly fell asleep as he waited for the drill to move, knowing that Solosis would wake him up later.
