SRing for an Adamant Speed Boost Torchic in Reborn with NOT crappy IVs is tiring.

I decided to go with Speed Boost Torchic for my first run. :3 I've never used it in the official games before (I'm not much of a competitive battler although I'm learning slowly!), so I want to try it out. ^^

So I just downloaded Reborn (I'm gonna die ), and I'd like to know which starter would be the best choice to begin with. I'm rather nervous (it being a new game that is known for its difficulty) and I'd love some help. ^^;

I've kinda stalled out on Rejuv (wanted to update to V8 before facing Venam and her new improved look), so... I'm gonna take the plunge and start Reborn to pass the time until V8 arrives. Wish me luck!

Okay, so I've rescued Amber from Madelis and Kyorge. When do I get Magma Drift? Do I have to keep scaling Valor Mountain? -
I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I traded a male Cherubi for a Bunnelby in the Aqua Apartments at Gearen City, and I actually got an Egg in return. Is that supposed to happen? (I apologize if this question is in the wrong spot, didn't know where to post it.)
