Solomon turned to the man offering alcohol and meat in the middle of a courtyard filled with soldiers, and he gave the man a thumbs up before turning back to Navin and offering him a handshake "My name is Solomon, and if you ever want anything to help you feel more at home, I might be able to arrange something if that want is a book somewhere". Atton did what any other soldier would do when offered free no strings attached food and alcoholic drinks after several long and hard battles, and that is walk up to the man offering all of this and say "I honestly can't find anything to say in response other than 'thank you very much' and 'do you have any bacon'?".

Radovan couldn't help but add "Young mistress would make an acceptable substitute actually, it means almost the same thing, but it is much more feminine". He stood there for a while, not really saying or doing anything until he realized that he is just an endless series of questions right now "Why are we meeting the Vice President anyway? Did we uh...do something particularly wrong?". -

Another man would have remarked about how if the situation was any different, he would have teased Althea in another sense of the word, but he felt that this wasn't the time for flirting. They tavern group were stuck in a classic rock and a hard place situation, with an Ogre and a goblin archer in the back, and two goblins ready to charge them in the front. Richard made a mental note to get himself a hammer at some point as he finally replied to Althea's question by saying "An enemy army is invading this land!". He would have turned to address the other members of the group, but he felt that wouldn't be a good idea as he said "The Elven Archer! attack the goblin archer behind us if you want to make it out alive tonight". Another thing he considered doing was planting a kiss on Althea's cheek before charging towards victory, but again; he knew that he had all of the time in the world to be a romantic when people weren't dropping like flies all around him. Richard charges at the nearest goblin and attempts to decaffeinate him with his longsword (Attack the nearest goblin after moving all 30 feet at them) -
Solomon shook his head at the Indian man after hearing his question, and he made an odd gesture as he said "Eh....little little, I only know enough to make that archaeology joke, and that you are asking me if I understand the language. Well that and I can sort of read it a bit, although I do find it to be a bit too complicated for my tastes..." he was silent for a bit after saying that, although he eventually got the idea to ask "I don't think that we have met before by the way, may I ask for your name?".

Radovan did his best to try and get some clarification by asking as politely as possible "Are the two of you also reincarnations of someone? I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'm just curious because I have never heard of something like that happening before....and what do you mean by the cycle of Alpha? and while we are at it...is anyone else here a reincarnation of someone?". -

Richard did what anyone with two brain cells to rub together and an actual excuse would do when faced with an Ogre, and that is make a tactical retreat with the civilians he had promised to protect. He made damn sure to say "Keep up the good work!" to the town guards who were fighting against the damn thing while he, Sir Richard that is, bravely, bravely ran away. -
Solomon stifled a snicker for a moment after seeing how confused Rand seemed and successfully resisted the urge to pat them in the back before saying with the usual grin on his face " Wait, he actually plants explosive spells in his books to prevent anyone from stealing them? If he wanted to keep them safe why doesn't he just invest in a secure pocket dimension or something? Seems like a waste to be honest" He had a thoughtful look on his face for a while as he considered whether or not a person in a war zone would be interested in a certain object, but after a while his brain reasoned that he honestly would lose nothing if he tried, especially since what he was offering was power, if you had a rather odd view of power that involved curling up in front of something anyway. "How interested would Lord Bellenus be in expanding his collection anyway?". After waiting a few moments to listen for Rand's reply he turned to the Indian man who spoke in that one language whose name started with Mar or something and said "Speaking Egyptian is easy, you just have to learn the vowels" which is the only sentence he knows well enough to say in.....Mararthi?. Solomon made a mental note to ask for the man's name later, he didn't want to be the guy who referred to someone as 'The Indian'.

After speaking to the researcher he sort of but not really helped to rescue, Mot decided that his time was best spent wandering the castle's many rooms while atop his trusty steed Eddie. He wasn't really looking for anything in particular, except maybe for something to do and someone to talk to who isn't as whiny as Eddie is.

After hearing the big wheel's response to the appropriately patriotic chap in the stars and stripes get up, Atton had decided that his time would be better spent walking over to the wall to try and check it for any obvious flaws. He spent a few moments just walking from one part of it to the other while trying to remember literally anything about medieval era walls, after a few awkward moments of trying to seem as harmless as possible he saw an odd snake-plant woman creature make rifle noises at what his brain can vaguely recognize as an arrow slit. Atton just stood there for several minutes, watching her and her...companion do something that he personally finds to be inexplicable before shrugging and walking over to the both of them to say "So how many enemy officers have you personally forced to cash in their chips?" Before joining her by walking over to a nearby arrow slit to try and fire his trusty service pistol at pretty much any enemy officers he can find. Solomon did what he was honestly expected to do by this point and say "An enemy spy would probably not fly in to your castle while wearing a visibly distinct suit of armor as well......and what is this House Shienar anyway? And what is this Asterlux thing supposed to be?".
-
Atton returns Lexiel's handshake with an equally firm and steady one "I have never heard of Overwatch before...I assume that it is some form of special ops division in your world?" he listened intently to the advice she gave, and after she had finished speaking he simply said "I will make sure to keep that in mind Lexiel, and don't worry, I know how to handle myself around civilians". After she was called away along with whatever that talking tablet was supposed to be, a kid wearing a crown, and a pale looking woman Atton did what he thought anyone would do in that situation and gave her a salute before saying "Well it seems that I will have to defer to your judgement this time Strike Captain Lexiel". Solomon did what anyone else would have done and hovered over to the plumed officer before staring at the peculiar scene with that snake woman from earlier and her bound earth spirit thing "I honestly don't know but it does look interesting...."
-
Solomon did what anyone else would have done and slowly but surely moved his seat over to the one that has a youngish child wearing a crown sitting on it to quietly say "I honestly don't know who you are, but uh......good job?". Atton stood there in front of the angel for a while to wait for her to say absolutely anything in response. He would have asked for her name, but he decided that would be a bad idea when he is supposed to give the impression that at the very least he knows enough people here to potentially be a general of this armed forces as opposed to being some dickhead in a military uniform. He idly straightened up his clothes a bit, and actively resisted the urge to publicly check the state of his weaponry, as that didn't work out properly last time.

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Radovan did exactly what any properly paranoid person should do upon hearing the words 'psychic' and 'mind reader' be uttered by people who don't seem to be sarcastic and put on the greatest mental barrier in existence, an endless stream of commentary free 1+1 mathematical operations. He was thinking of 1+1 when he said "Your costumes are nice by the way". -
Rather unfortunately Mot could not provide no real comfort for the man, although he did his best by saying "I can't say, I haven't been here long enough to do that, maybe the castle was just experiencing some turbulence? Like a plane is said to do before crashing, although I must say that the most dangerous thing about turbulence is the person sitting next to you having a panic attack".
-
Atton marched towards the angelic figure in a huff as he did his best to clean his parade uniform. He could excuse her ignorance because he honestly has never met her before, but to be brutally honest he felt the need to correct her by saying "Hello, I am Major General Richard Atton of the USCA army, I served in the 304th Tank Brigade as an officer for a while, and I helped lead and organize a little skirmish down in north Africa, nothing much really, just me and tens of thousands of men, and a little city that no one has ever heard of called....Casablanca was liberated, I still haven't gotten around to organizing the repair efforts yet, but I was getting there before I woke up and found myself staring at some ridiculous looking knight creature". He extended a handshake towards her before saying "It is a pleasure to meet you, I have never thought I would see one with my own eyes".

Solomon did what anyone else would have done when inside of a fortress filled with potentially hostile soldiers who have presumably been working over time to keep the whole damn thing from falling apart and proceeded to dismantle the bookcopter with a soft and slow clapping of his hands. Everyone on the bookcopter would find themselves slowly and carefully lowered down onto the ground in their own personal throne of books. He then made a series of equally slow gestures at the passengers in a sign language that presumably no one understands that said "Don't panic". Atton did what anyone would have done after being tossed onto a horse charging very quickly away from things that would have tried to kill them, and that is do his best to ignore the pain he feels while tipping his hat and saying "I thank you for the help, may the lord bless your efforts to serve and protect the people of this fortress" to the brave rider who carried him inside.

Edmund nods in response to her question, it seems perfectly reasonable for her to have a desire to explore other countries. A tiny bit of him was thinking about whether or not she could actually die of old age when he said "I can see what you mean, travelling across the world has a certain appeal to it...although I can say from personal experience that other nations are often a bit overrated"

And again Richard nodded in response to the bartender's statement, and he slowly and purposefully led the group east in an attempt to try and draw the attention of any goblins or other monsters they might encounter away from the rest of the group, although he wouldn't be lying if he said that he was praying for the trip to be an uneventful one. Richard didn't really say anything to the bartender or his family along the way, he was never very good at walking quietly, but he wasn't going to be the fool who wouldn't shut his yap when sneaking either. -
Solomon focused his efforts towards keeping the helicopter flying and heading towards the keep as fast as his magic would allow. While he did fire some potshots at the skeletal horde underneath him, he found it rather hard to do that while focusing on repairing the bits and pieces that were burned off the craft while also trying to keep the entire damn thing aloft. Atton examined the surrounding terrain and realized that they were about to be swamped by enemy forces. While this would have worried most people, Atton was not most people. This is why Atton said "We need to rejoin the main group now" to the Indian from earlier, before hopefully running back to the main group with the man and firing off some well aimed shots (As well as you can aim while running anyway) at any skeletons that tries to get in their way.

Before leaving the tavern Richard had nodded to the Elven archer from earlier and said "Your help would be appreciated, but try and stay safe all right? I don't want to let a man get left behind". After presumably leaving the tavern with the bartender's family he would have checked the state of his weaponry before inclining his head slightly towards the bartender and saying "Well it looks like the guards will be working very hard tonight, may I ask you to lead the way?". -

Richard nodded to the guard captain in response before saying "Thank you for the help". He then walked back to the barman and his family before saying "They have cleared the area east of this building apparently, and there is a rather large amount of city guards in the market square, and the goblins haven't gotten that far into the town yet, which is good to say the least...so is everyone ready to go?". -
After talking to the scientist, Mot had taken a seat on the nearest bunk and started to flick through the obituary he had with him, he was halfway through reading all about the unfortunate series of events that will lead to the timely death of Miss. Wickham when the entire castle suddenly became an extremely uncomfortable place to be in. In response to this Mot simply pulled out his trusty revolver, put the obituary back in its place, and wielded the lance the barbarian called Mar made for him earlier before getting on his trusty steed Eddie and puttering along to the scientist from earlier to ask "How are you doing?".

Richard nodded in response to the bartender before saying "I'll go and check then". He walked to the guard captain and asked him "So which sectors has the guard been clearing recently? The bartender and his family over there could use that information to get home safely". -

Richard considers the barman's words for a moment. On one hand he would be making sure that an actually decent tavern would still have employees the next day while helping three people stay alive and well, but on the other hand the guardsmen could use some help with making sure that there was still a town for the tavern to be in the next day. It was a rather hard decision that Richard made that night, but after a while he reasoned that the well armed and hopefully well trained guardsmen needs his help less than the family that he sort of protected earlier. "Right, where do the three of you live? And is there anyone else who wants an escort home?" After saying those words to the bartender he turned to face Althea to regretfully say "I'm sorry miss Althea, but I think I am going to call it a night here, a good man can't just sit down and do nothing while something terrible is happening after all....although I won't stop you if you want to come with me". And seemingly as an afterthought he turned to face the improperly dressed "drow" to say "Look, I am not going to try and appeal to your inner goodness or anything, but do you want to come with us? It should be marginally safer than this tavern anyway, especially if the guards and the other patrons are leaving as well.". -

Richard did what anyone else with his experience would have done, and he unsheathed his sword and wielded it with his shield before saying "Do you still need any help over here?" To the bartender. -

Richard sheaths his sword in its scabbard, and he sighed after seeing yet another potential prisoner die due to the actions of the elven archer. He walked to the front of the tavern once more, and he walked up to the bartender to say "I am glad that your family is unharmed but do you know anything about this 'Red Hand'? The goblins were going on and on about them".
