Well a man can have dreams after all, well that and it doesn't have to be done immediately, the problem with magic is always the bit where that costs valuable spell slots that could be spent making Rei less likely to die with chain mail or buffing everyone else to hit more often. @Cool Girl Also have you added more HP to Althea yet? I think she gets an additional +4 HP and +1 First level spell slots, also what spells did Althea prepare today?

Probably going to make a character sheet for a loner who had made a contract with Rabies at some point in the not so distant past, since they seem to be a fun character to play, and while I honestly don't know if combat will be in this RP at all, his physical powers will probably have obvious yet slightly more subdued uses.

[D&D][IC] Valkyria: Scales of War

Richard prepares to charge at the nearest goblin after throwing his javelin at them. (OOC: This won't happen until the absolute bottom of the Initiative order since I rolled a natural 1). -

Richard slowly starts to realize that there seemed to be no way down the corridor that wouldn't end up with a confrontation with the goblin ahead, and he quietly said "Can you help me deal with the goblin up ahead Maris?" Before attempting to quietly advance down the stairway, and hopefully with the bald faced monk going ahead of him. No matter what happens he would make sure that the moment a fight breaks out, he would be one of the first things the goblins would see. Edit: ((OOC: If it is allowed can we just assume that Richard had sheathed his long sword at some point and taken out a javelin?)) ((OOC: For stealth I rolled an 11 after disadvantage)) -

Richard picked up the other goblin's weapon and handed it to Ragash before she or anyone else entered the building "You're going to need this if you want to stay in the front". After Maris entered the building, Richard would do his best to stand beside Ragash in an attempt to keep up with the monk, as he needed to be close to someone who could see in the dark, and he didn't want to endanger Althea by having her stand next to him. -
Solomon decided that this would be a good time to be somewhere underneath as many layers of armor he could potentially get and proceeded to create a solid wall of books to hide behind. HP: 33/45 Init: 19 Str 4/Dex 1/Int 10/Syn 9/Res 4/Con 2/10% Dodge chance from Armor/Disadvantage in all checks and takes Character level pure damage if he fails one Current Action: Basic Defense (50% damage reduction)

Richard makes a mental note to get this weapon examined further when he gets back to the town, as it might be a good idea to try and find out who exactly is supplying the goblins with such well made weaponry, and he put it away inside of his backpack for safe keeping. He then waits patiently for Maris to lead the party inside of the presumably goblin filled ruins with his shield in one hand, and a stout sword in the other. He did find the time to wink and smile warmly at Althea though. -

Richard attempts to take one of the goblin's weapons for further examination. -

Richard pulled out the javelin he had threw earlier and he took another moment to examine the goblin's weapon while saying "Can we count on your aid with scouting ahead of us Maris?" To well...the only person named Maris in this clearing. -
Right, so Richard is going to walk as close as possible (At least 10 feet) towards a goblin before throwing his javelin, which the rolls I got (Natural 20+5 for attack, 7+0 for stealth due to disadvantage, and 6+3 for damage if duelist does not apply to the damage) means dealing a considerable amount of damage to a single goblin. This is just here because I wanted to clarify and also ask : if you use a critical success or critical failure chart. The duelist thing I PMed you about.

[D&D][IC] Valkyria: Scales of War

Richard gave the monk a conspiratorial wink before silently waiting for the exact moment the group would strike. The moment the Monk started to engage one of the goblins Richard would move as closely as possible towards a goblin before throwing a javelin directly at them, and hopefully ((I don't know if throwing a weapon prevents you from drawing another weapon)) drawing his longsword out to prepare for the inevitable melee. ((OOC: Basically an excuse for me to not post until the GM and you guys get moving, as I will be busy for the whole day tomorrow)). -

Richard shrugged his shoulders before quietly saying "Maybe it's the cheap vase sitting across the room that contains the rich merchant's prized possessions that you ignore because it doesn't look as fancy as the large chest that you are trying to unlock. I have no idea what the leaf is supposed to be". -
Atton resisted the effects of the paranoia inducing gas just enough to listen to the weird plastic tablet thing's admittedly good advice and to shout out "Why are you doing this?" at the Assassin. Immediately afterwards he started to shout out hopefully helpful advice about why it is a terrible idea to call out your attacks before attacking. Although most of the advice he gave were tidbits of actually useful information about how to position yourself in a chaotic battlefield in a way that allows you to shoot a rather disturbing amount of enemy combatants. He stopped shouting just before he got to the really important bit about how to not get shot while doing it.

Solomon glances at a nearby enemy soldier for a few short moments before making vaguely magical gestures at the man and shouting "TOU KOOL!". Immediately afterwards he ran off to try and find some cover before the orbital strike arrives while chuckling to himself a bit about how the other guy should have looked out.

Well considering how we only have four players, and since I just got accepted it is probably still open. So yeah have fun! And join the Discord.
