Solomon continued to smile warmly at everyone around him while he held his golden spear...it was rather unnerving actually, and he inclined his head down slightly to get a better look at Lena before he said, "Yes hello, I know that you are there Lena I was just a bit...preoccupied with something else at the moment, but anyway do you have any questions about the armory? Or should we move on towards another part of the castle?."
-
Solomon hadn't noticed that Lena was following him when he made a short detour to watch Dackly's experiment uhh...something catastrophically, before he went over to have some rather hushed words with the snake woman about a few choice items, her crackpot, and whether or not she could make the spear 'Less likely to kill the person wielding it if they are not used to the idea of having someone else inside of his head.'. He finally noticed Lena's presence in the corner of his eye when he looked around the place before he slowly started to float towards the armory once more (although this time with both Dackly and Gozer in tow), and he turned his throne around to say, "Oh right, the tour....well if you'll follow me then I am going to show you where the armory is before I spend a little time with the irreplaceable Dackly and Gozer," he swiftly gestured in their direction before he continued with, "To try and make this spear more deadly to the opponent than it is to the wielder." He then kept silent as the three of them presumably exchanged whatever pleasantries they wanted to exchange on the way over to the armory. In all honesty the crafting operation itself could be best described as Solomon reading out loud some hopefully helpful advice from a book he found in his pocket as the people who actually understood how the crackpot worked pretty much did all of the actual work. Although he was the one who volunteered to see if they accidentally made another eldritch item that wanted to kill him specifically by grasping the spear in both hands, and he smiled warmly at Dackly after he realized that the voices coming from the spear were more infrequent, and not actively attempting to drown out his own thoughts anymore. "I actually expected this to go horribly wrong somehow."
-
Solomon smile faded slightly as before he shrugged and rather flatly said "Because he isn't here right now, obviously." He then continued to slowly back his throne away from the conversation as he said, "But anyway I think I am probably...going to head over to the armory for now as I have some rather important things to do, feel free to follow me there if you wanted to know where it is placed or something."
-
Solomon decided against repeating what Edmond had already said to Empi in a ruder tone of voice, and he instead slowly but surely started to move his throne away from the matchmaker as he noticed how crowded the area was. He then noticed Lena staring off into the distance at the honestly slightly off looking sight of Dackly and Gozer, and he moved his hand to wave it in a way that periodically blocked her view of the two of them before he said, "Just wait until you see the uhhh walking and talking metallic statue of a woman, or the sapient tablet that speaks almost exclusively in a snarky manner, or the giant and conspicuously not present dragon...."

El Tiburón, Colony 6, ¡Interrumpir! (Launches an attack at an enemy and stun them for one round. 4 round cooldown.) on Talking Grimm. "I PREFER TO ASK QUESTIONS AND NOT GET KILLED AT THE SAME TIME ACTUALLY!" Shouted El Tiburón as he soared through the air and landed elbow first on whatever passed for the talking Beowolf's throat and whacked them with a steel chair. Semblance: With a Steel Chair: Tiburón carries a stainless steel black folding chair with him at all times on a holster of sorts attached to his back that he says is an integral part of an ancient and forbidden Luchador art (with a name that continues to elude him...for reasons that definitely have nothing to do with how he is making all of this up to add mystique, and entertain the masses.) that allows him to instantaneously teleport to a target that he has already hit before....to hit them again. Although he doesn't actually need to use the folding chair to teleport, he still tries his best to maintain the illusion by hitting his folding chair towards an enemy. Passive, every time Tiburón lands a hit on a target he reduces their Dodge by his Ether for 2 rounds, with each subsequent hit he lands refreshing the debuff instead of adding another stack. -
Alan decided that it would be best much more preferable to admire the giant killing machine from cover or whenever it is UNDER HIS DIRECT CONTROL, and he promptly yelled out the words "I'VE GOT THIS!" with the excessive amounts of smug arrogance that you can only have when you truly believe that there is no way that this can go horribly wrong. Alan takes cover before he uses Combat Hacking to try and disable the Sectopod's magnetic weaponry, his Intelligence is treated as being 10% higher than it actually is as he is using his Sony CTY.

Solomon was just about to answer Lena's question, and perhaps attempt to get either Edmond or Lexiel to answer her question when a person whose name still eludes him walked in and decided to sneak up behind a trained soldier....because that is always a good idea. He waited a while for the two of them to finish talking as part of the new 'be slightly less of an outright dick to your allies' thing he had going on, before the other other other other woman decided to say something about how Lena should go and find Edmond or LOTUS or something; which caused him to point at Edmond who were noticeably standing slightly to the side with Lexiel and another person and say, "You do realize that both Edmond and Lexiel are standing right there right?." He then lowered his hand and turned back towards Lena, "But anyway the enemy are pretty damn powerful if the fact that the very first servant we fought could apparently summon a nigh infinite amount of dragon's teeth soldiers to aid in her cause, and the only servant I actually fought was just some Irish who could chuck his spear at people menacingly....and casually throw grown adults at inanimate objects."

The vendor seemed more than a little embarrassed to say that, "Well rather unfortunately my Secretballs can't help you there, since they only quintuple the catch rate of Pokemon that still have an evolution...." Steve felt extremely embarrassed when he found himself quickly mumbling out an apology as he awkwardly sat back on his seat. And his mind was too busy panicking about his current predicament to pay attention to whatever it is that Jeanne had said...although he at least had the presence of mind to nod along to it. He stared blankly at the Feebas's eyes after a part of him realized that she wanted him to look at its eyes for some reason, and he stared and he stared until he just found himself drifting off t-.

[IC] BNWL Day 2: Trails Ablaze
Yours Truly replied to IntSys's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
In all honesty Orenucu would have had a smug grin on its face if his operator had bothered to model an actual face for it when it was being made, as he quickly realized that a combination of the chips he had just obtained and the positioning of the virii meant that he was really in no actual danger, and that in fact he could pull off a rather splendid triple delete if he could only.... Either way he decided to simply tell his operator to "Watch this!" before he didn't leap into the fray.- 221 replies

Solomon scratched his head a bit before he said, "I think that our plan so far has boiled down to splitting our group up into four parties, with two dedicated to defending our castle and the one we are currently standing in, and two to try and hunt down any servants we have located. It is a rather simple plan that has served us well so far...although I'm afraid that I am going to have to let Lexiel or Edmond fill in the rest of the details."
-
Solomon shrugged and slowly disassembled the other flying chair before he said, "You haven't done anything wrong, and you don't have to defend yourself from Lexiel unless..." he then made a show of leaned in slightly to whisper, "Unless you are secretly an arcology full of Aztechnology wageslaves, in which case you should run right now...before she drops another meteor on you." He then leaned back on his seat before he smiled at Lexiel.
-
"We should probably start with the armory then, since if the last two battles were any indication, you will be spending a lot more time crafting new equipment there than getting any amount of rest pretty much anywhere else. I would actually kill a man for a mug of soykaf right now." He turned his throne around to take a better look at Edmond before he said, "Her name is Lena and due to some rather embarrassing circumstances she is unable to speak. I would tell you more but I was just about to lead her on a tour of the castle's grounds actually. For obvious reasons related to me not wanting her to get into trouble with the sort of people who would rather have their books explode in someone's face than have an unauthorized person read it outside of his little library; you know the sort." The disdain was quite palpable in his tone of voice when he leaned in closer to quietly slur out the word, "Nobles." He then turned back towards Lena before he slowly and dramatically flipped over his ring bearing hand, causing a smaller floating seat to assemble itself somewhere behind her, "Feel free to sit down, the armory is not too far from here...but it might be wise to take any opportunity for respite that comes your way before we are thrown inside of the meatgrinder again." He then raised a dictionary before he said, "I'll tell you what the word meatgrinder means on our way to the armory."
-
"So you were basically born and raised to be a mute killing machine bonded to a weapon of war," there was a slight pause as he put on the most sarcastic voice he could muster to say, "Your world sounds absolutely wonderful already." He then dropped the tone when he moved on to say, "Although I am not exactly one to judge myself..." There was a bit of an awkward silence before he suddenly tried to change the subject with, "But anyway I can give you a tour of the place, since it is presumably a good idea to know the layout of the place you will be defending."
-
Solomon decided to make a rather wild guess when he rather rudely pointed at her choker and said, "Well...correct me if I am wrong here, but does your current inability to speak have anything to do with the choker that is...ahem." He started to smile a little wider when he said, "Binding you together with Tyrfing? Or am I just reading too much into the symbolism and the whole concept of a pact taking something from both participants?." He then coughed a little before he said, "Also I have just realized that I have yet to actually introduce myself, the name's Solomon by the way."

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]
Yours Truly replied to Bfroger6's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Radovan quietly took out his A-Comm and looked for the directions to Jenny's ice cream shop as he walked over to where Cathode had ran to. He signalled for everyone who wanted ice cream to come with him by simply raising his hand and moving it down towards the direction of the shop as he smiled warmly at Cat's direction, "You really shouldn't run off like that if you don't know where you are going Cat~, so you should just follow me." He then started to walk towards Jenny's ice cream shop with Cathode in tow... -
Solomon made a mental note about how Lena made damn sure to write down every single period and question mark when he said, "Ah, well patrons are the vaguely defined guiding spirits that appear to certain kinds of people in my world and teach them how to use their preexisting magical powers....usually after making some sort of oath or pact with them. And I just assumed that was what you meant when you said that you were a 'pactmaker to the Incorruptus Tyrfing'."
-
As Solomon turned slightly to acknowledge Lexiel's presence, he realized that she appeared to have assembled her outfit in quite a hurry while she was inside of a pitch black room, and he made a mental note to try and convince her to go to a stylist after the remaining servants are dead/when the throne he is sitting on doesn't have the word "tentacles" written down in most of its components....or when he isn't currently leaning on a copy of the script for that weird fishman romance movie. Either way he rather awkwardly moved his throne back to face in Lena's direction before he said, "Well for one thing I would very much like to know what magical powers your patron Tyrfing grants you, and if said patron is at all related to the magical sword that is famed in Norse mythology for always killing a man whenever it is drawn....and of course it would also be a good idea for you to tell me a little bit about your world's technology level, just in case someone has the bright idea to give you a weapon or an electronic device that does not exist in your world without telling you how to operate it."
-
Solomon raises an eyebrow when he noticed the sudden appearance of some pen and paper in her hands just after she touched her necklace, and he moved his right hand to touch the ring on his left ring finger as she started to write. This caused a small and well worn looking novellete to materialize in his right hand just as she lifted her pad of paper up to show something to him. He then smirked slightly and flipped the book over to reveal that the cover simply displayed a man hurling a ball of lightning at an unseen threat, and the words "WIZARD?!?" displayed proudly above the man's head in red, blue, and gold lettering. He then shrugged his shoulders and said, "But anyway are you hungry? Because we just fought a series of rather decisive battles against an invading army and I. Am. Starving."
-
Solomon tilted his head slightly to get a better look on her face as he waited for the woman to say....absolutely anything in response, and after a few awkward moments of blank staring had passed, he finally shrugged and decided to say, "Well this is going to be weird and confusing for you, but let's just say that you have been forcibly drafted into a grand army of heroes meant to somehow save the multiverse from some eldritch extradimensional horrors, and before you ask...no one else got a say in this either." He glanced at the metal choker she was wearing before he said, "Also....it would be nice if you could say literally anything in response, as I don't know if some of the more...exotic members of the group would be able to read your expression that well."
-
As Solomon slowly floats towards the barracks on his throne of forbidden knowledge really trashy romance novels on his search for that one friend who really shouldn't be reading those kinds of books in public, he notices a woman popping into reality and falling down onto the ground for...some reason or other. After a moment's deliberation he decides to try and help her get her bearings/interrogate her for signs of being an enemy spy by slowly moving towards her and try to help her up with a hand shaped mound of books while he says, "And I am assuming that you are a new recruit or something miss?..."

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]
Yours Truly replied to Bfroger6's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Radovan decided that it would be wise to try and get most of the group away from Kalva's #1 fangirl before Betani managed to trigger her somehow, and he quickly settled on fulfilling his promise by trying to convince everyone to, "Why don't we go to Jenny's ice cream shop again? I mean I did promise to buy you all some ice cream didn't I?." As in all honesty while a part of him wanted to drag some people over to the Abravators and hopefully coerce them into providing some more answers; he realized that there was nothing preventing him from doing that later, and that everyone must be feeling quite exhausted (and possibly a little bit dehydrated) after their little excursion. Which is why a bit of rest could do them all some good. -
(Jeanne's roll: OVERSHOT) Steve rather nodded along to everything the attractive woman with the cute smile had said with a slightly wooden expression on his face as he stopped thinking with the head on his shoulders. This caused him to experience a more than slightly uncharacteristic surge of bravery that caused him to exclaim, "YES! TO EVERYTHING! As long as it will help!," as he practically leapt out of his seat....and bumped into Jeanne a bit as he came back down on the ground. (8) The vendor seemed to be telling the truth, or at least as close to the truth as he was aware of when he said, "I swear that there are no other Pokeballs in existence that are as masterfully made as these....unless there is some project going on somewhere that I have never heard of, or if the old man trained others."

Alan decided to take a handful of alien alloys with him before he heard a loud crashing sound in the distance, and he decided to ignore the entire concept of common sense for a moment as he headed towards its direction and asked "What the hell is a Sectopod and is it as mechanical as an ADVENT MEC?" into his comms systems.

Ahmed turned slightly to get a better look at Beverly before he said, "If I had a death wish Sir Kay, I would have already left for the wilderness to look for my father or his remains with nothing but some basic survival gear, a recently sharpened rapier, and a copy of the bible with me. Choosing to help the Admiral in his attempt at saving whatever is left of humanity is simply a civic duty. Especially since our EVAs are apparently quite choosy when it comes to their pilots...although." He quickly turned back to face the Admiral before he asked, "Why would it be difficult to find another Sync compatible person anyway?."- 180 replies
