Immanuel first sent a message to his project leader and unapproved drugs provider that said. He then sent another message to Crow as he scrutinized the address for Galaxy Game's main office.

Ahmed quickly realized that Asuka had presumably messed around with the simulator's settings somehow to make this fight less obviously one sided as he tried his best to not fail horribly at deploying his AT field once more.

Immanuel leaned back on his seat and put his phone back in his pocket as his apartment building could finally be seen in the distance after a longer than usual cab ride, and he soon arrived at the front door of his apartment after a few boring moments had passed where nothing of any real interest happened. He took his time in the shower as he thought about exactly what he was going to say to a pair of complete strangers to convince them to follow him into a Mononoke nest/what alchemical items that were technically not a kind of weapon he could try and requisition/whether or not it would be a good idea to ask if anyone in the entire company had designed some form of autoinjection system, or if he should shelve that idea in its entirety for now. He eventually settled on sending his project leader a message that said. He then sent a short and simple message to Marina that said, He then went out of the shower to check the time and dress himself up once more before he went through the information he had collected on Tor to find out where he worked...and perhaps call his secretary.

Immanuel did a double check when he saw the contents of his project leader's response, and he slowly started to realize that all of the weeks of planning and sneaking around the damn place to try and prevent himself from being fired by his higher-ups... might have been completely and utterly unnecessary actually. Although he wasn't really surprised about having to sign a waiver, the company does have the right to distance itself from him if he ended up.... shacking up with a bunch of Anarchocapitalists or something?. He sent another message to his project supervisor that explained, in no uncertain terms, that

Ahmed's EVA turned to face Beverly's for a couple of moments before he quickly took out his progressive knife and put on a fighting stance, "You know Sir Kay, making a bet that hinges on us beating your mom up might actually be a bad idea, especially since she is a lot more experienced than us." He moved a couple of steps to the side to try and prevent Asuka from getting close to Satomi.

After a long moment of deliberation Immanuel decided to send his a project leader another message that said, "Also hypothetically, if someone decided to hypothetically....use magical arms, armor, and other equipment using blueprints they had hypothetically created from research they had hypothetically done for the company for the past decade to fight criminals. How fired would said hypothetical someone be?. PS: Also have you watched the news yet." After he waited for a reply he decided to quickly send a message to Sasha that said, "It involves a moving fortress and a whole lot of exploration."

"Do not worry about your fallen companion's soul, nor for the shattered remains of his body, for my Lord, Mainhun Shukr has already seen fit to bestow him his forgiveness for the sin of attacking one of his servants, as his head is already anointed with the blood of bird of the air's as his sin offering." He said as his morningstar was still slick with the man's blood, causing a couple of drops to fall to the ground. ((Rolled a 26 for Persuasion))

Alan immediately signalled his apparent catastrophic failure by shouting out, "I DON'T GOT THIS!" as he frantically tried to do a full take over of the Sectopod's systems while he ran towards an even bigger and thicker piece of cover. Alan attempts to run towards an objectively better piece of cover and use the following action on the Sectopod at the same time. (Perk backed) Assuming Direct Control!: Alan makes a 1d20+Int v 1d20+Int check against a mechanical and hackable enemy, allowing him to try and assume direct control over up to two enemies per world on a permanent basis. Although the action can also be used to disable a mechanical and hackable enemy without controlling it which prevents it from using its moves to do anything other than making an opposed 1d20+Int v Alan's initial roll check that takes an entire move to perform. This action has no cooldown. Level 2: Alan can now choose to not keep a Drone he is controlling on a permanent basis at the end of the encounter where he took control over it.

Immanuel idly waved goodbye at Crow before he turned around to fly himself back home, or rather; a place that is far away enough from his home for him to be able to hail a taxi back home and not draw any suspicion or clue anyone else in to where he lived. On the taxi cab back he sent a message over to Marina that simply said, "I forgot, do your powers work over text? Also meet me at the Haagen Dahz inside of the Kirishima Mall after work tomorrow, I have several things to discuss. Also if your powers do work over text I wish for the private phone numbers of Tor and whoever that other woman who summoned creatures were." He also sent a message to Sasha that said, "I have another job for you that involves the Lowest Bidders, AKA the Card Emperors, AKA the people we fought this morning. Meet me at the Haagen Dahz in Kirishima Mall tomorrow at 4 PM for further information." After a few moments had passed he sent a message to 'Crow' that said, "This is Challenger One's phone number, what do you know about the card emperors?." And finally he sent a message to his boss that simply said, "Change of plans, parents are insufficiently convinced about youth or gender. I will come back to work next week. PS: Was that actually a thing that happened?."

Immanuel quickly put the woman's phone number inside of one of his pockets before he said, "I'll send you a message with my number on it later. But anyway do you know absolutely anything else about the Sanctuary that might help the investigation? And where was it located?."

I am into trying to do the right thing and suffering for it in a morally grey world, and also piloting a mecha and gunning down my opponents with missiles and machineguns.

Kaeso rather noticeably took a step forward before he said, "Then show us where the creature lies with the triton before any of them wakes up and starts to panic inside of a strange room full of strangers!." He then waits for one of the Kenku to finally put their money where their mouth is and start to lead him to the safe room, and before he leaves he would gesture for some of the members of the party to follow him while he said, "It is said in the book of Bel that 'One preparing to travel down a dangerous path should seek firm and loyal allies.' What this means is that at least one of you is following me just in case the crew starts their mutiny while I am seeking to rescue our unconcious companions.". (Rolled a 21 to convince the Kenku to lead him there NOW.)

Immanuel quickly started to think of how he would go about with convincing some people he barely knew to help him on what could in all honesty be nothing but a wild goose chase (or a well laid trap) just after Crow mentioned the Mononoke nest to him. "Well if it will hinder their ability to attempt any more suicide attacks on children's card game players then I can certainly promise that I will try to get to the root of said matter. Although of course by this point I can't really say the same about the others."

As Ahmed's vision naturally started to drift around the room to make sure that the group wasn't missing anyone; his eyes slowly went wide as his eyes betrayed him by glancing down to rest on Si' Kyou's...remarkable feminine figure inside of hi-he meant he-. His eyes only lingered there for a moment before he rather quickly decided that perhaps this wasn't a good time to stare or think at length about someone else's apparently present curves, and he tried his best to hide a slight blush of embarrassment as he struggled to retain his composure and look at Lady Kyou's face while he said, "Wwwhy do the plug suits have to be so tight and form fitting again? Didn't our regular clothes work just fine earlier?."

"Other than Tor, me, and some European woman I don't recognize who summoned horror movie monsters from a really big camera. There was a mechanic I brought along with me who flew us onto the plane with a supernaturally fast motorcycle that I attached rocket boosters to for obvious reasons, and space warping powers, and there was also a teenager there who tagged along with us for reasons related to her reality warping powers. And before you ask, I do have both of their numbers."

Immanuel shook his head before he said "I'm afraid not, I left relatively quickly after the plane landed and I saw an awakened man with an AI Uplink walk up to greet everyone else... didn't want to take the chance of him being able to identify me. Although I think have several people I can call upon for help... and if push comes to shove I can always track down Tor's office and just...try to talk to him."

As Kaeso was preparing to march towards the captain of this vessel's current location when the Kenku revealed him, he suddenly realized that Nadine was right, the Kenku did abduct some of the party in the chaos of the battle, and he found himself saying, "The woman is right, it would be considered to be a sign of your good faith if you release them into our care once more, and as we are all about to meet the captain of this ship anyway in what I presume will be the second safest room in the entire ship, it would be a good idea to secure them there.... especially if they are working for the mutinous crew." (ROLLED A 24 FOR PERSUASION)

Kaeso decided to lower the volume of his voice, if not the intensity present in his words, "Every hour is a Godly hour for such an ardent follow of Mainhun Shukr AS I! Now quickly! Take us to your leader for we will have words with him... before the whole lot of you incur the just wrath of our party once more.". He then turned ever so slightly to gesture at his well intentioned compatriot with the knife to say, "You should let him go now, for it is quite clear that not only have all of this started from nothing but an admittedly dumb mistake on the part of their part, for it is quite clear that their choice to resort to violence and guile was a poor one, but that the addition of one more kenku to their ranks won't put us in any more danger." (Persuasion roll of 21 to convince the Kenku TO HURRY UP AND TAKE US TO THEIR LEADER)

"Well, they can try getting an edge over me, but nobody can really manage anything like that. As for my competitors, it's that big ass department store that sells those pokeballs. Though I guess I don't really need to bother since all my products are better than theirs, if a little more expensive." Youngster Not Joey had thanked the weird older guy the moment after they gestured towards the exit, and he quickly replied to the man's question with, "I know the way around here. I live in a small village just outside the forest. If you want to find an interesting spot the shrine is probably a little weird, you can try that out. And I think you can find small caves and hills just outside the forest towards the east, maybe try there." At first it seemed as if Steve really didn't have anything else to say as he simply started to repeat pretty much everything he had already told you about. Although he did manage to say a couple of additional details that he hadn't mentioned or remembered earlier, such as how his attackers were eerily silent when they commanded their pokemon to attack him, or how two of the attackers looked similar to each other and how one of them was definitely female. In all honesty his entire speech mostly led to a couple of dead ends until he mentioned how there was some sort of...dark red symbol or letter on the torso of his attacker's outfits. Although he was still finding it a bit hard to remember what shape that letter or symbol was. The woman stared at Horace for a second, thought real hard and then said, "I can only suggest you try searching outside the city, since most gangs don't function inside it, being afraid of the cops and the detectives. Now I'm leaving. Goodbye." She turns to Horace and then winks and says, "If you know how to show a lady a better time than the boy there, why don't you come visit me when you have gotten off."

Ahmed had already walked off into another room to change into the almost needlessly tight silver colored plug suit he was given before Sir Kay could say anything, and he made damn sure that literally no one else was around to see him undress due to unexplained, but blatantly obvious personal reasons. He stayed silent and tried his best to not let his eyes glance anywhere potentially scandalous as Asuka said something about keeping their wits, and doing their best to form a strategy and execute a series of tactical maneuvers to- you get the point. Basically he was hoping and praying that he wouldn't fuck this up again as he waited for everyone else to climb into their plugs before he did the same.

Immanuel visibly relaxed somewhat after he realized that the woman was presumably telling him the truth, "Not that much actually, all I currently know is that they were awakened, had an odd fixation with assassinating an assistant marketing director for a card game, fought primarily by summoning creatures and hurling energy at people, and also that they had no plan for getting off of the plane alive, namely because they were already dead. I am not really sure why, and while I guess I could have learned more about them if I had taken their bodies with me for an autopsy; I decided that the awakened people who came with the authorities could do a much better job of it... also I am not the kind of person to steal another man's dead body, I'm not that weird." He then leaned back on the nearby wall slightly before he let out a sigh and continued with, "You know I would ask why I have never heard of you before, but that is actually a dumb question to ask someone who was presumably planning on taking out the bank robbers from a distant rooftop."

To an outside observer Kaeso would seem to not have lowered his guard at all, as he was admittedly still in his full set of armor and showed absolutely no intention of lowering his bloodied morningstar or his shield. There was also the bit where he practically shouted out, "QUITE FRANKLY IF YOU HAD MENTIONED THAT YOU WERE DOING THIS TO PROTECT THE PASSENGERS I WOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY ASKED IF I COULD BE AWAKE AND PROTECTING THAT SAFE ROOM AS WELL, THE FACT THAT YOUR CAPTAIN INSTEAD CHOSE TO INCAPICATE THE LOT OF US WITH FORCE OF ARMS OR CRETINOUS POISON IMPLIES A DISTINCT LACK OF TRUST IN THE CHARITY OF STRANGERS THAT PERSONALLY HURTS MY FEELINGS. AND PERSONALLY I COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT THE METHODS YOU PERFORM TO OBTAIN YOUR VAIN FLIGHT IF YOU OBTAINED ANY NECESSARY SACRIFICES RIGHTFULLY THROUGH EITHER FORCE OF ARMS OR PURCHASE FROM A DEALER WHO HOLDS NO INTEREST IN THE WELL BEING OF HIS GOODS. ALSO ANYONE WHO CONSORTS WITH DEVILS FOR THEIR POWER IS A FOOL IN NEED OF AN ATTORNEY AND REDEMPTION FROM THE NEAREST PALADIN IF MAINHUN SHUKR. ALSO I NOW WISH TO SPEAK TO YOUR CAPTAIN FOR OBVIOUS REASONS." (ROLLED A 20 FOR PERSUASION AND A 15 FOR INSIGHT)

As a person who regularly worked with and designed magical items and generally went around being awakened, Immanuel wasn't really surprised by the fact that he was greeted by a possibly awakened woman who just so happened to be on the same rooftop he was on. Although he was a bit more surprised by the fact that she both knew of his alter ego and the fact that he was involved with the whole 'Plane inexplicably loses its tail and disappears from the sky after being subsumed by a much larger flying transport thing', as that literally just happened this morning. So either news travels at lighting speed among the awakened world (although to be fair he did help stop an assassination and bring down a plane in the flashiest way imaginable)...or this woman had something to do with the other woman, you know... the one who gave him his last mission. Of course there was always the possibility that she was nothing but some creepy fangirl with a big and presumably magical gun... but that was highly unlikely. He tried his best to not seem as if he was a split second away from hurling a bolt of plasma in her direction as he put on a relaxed stance and said, "And I hope that none of those things involve arresting me for tearing off the tail of an airplane, because I was really looking forward to not getting into trouble with the authorities this early in my career.".
