Solomon decides that as the second most flammable person in the room with the most flammable choice of magical implement standing near an extremely flammable person, he should probably do something to not get hit by the second fireball the other wizard was casting, which is why he decided to yell out something along the lines of, "I don't know! He just attacked us out of the blue!" Before he took the crackpot and attempted to nudge Dackly into going along with him as he fucked off somewhere less toasty.
-
By this point in time Solomon's patience had already started to wear a little thin, mostly because the gorgon had already drained a decent amount of his blood into that cauldron of her's already, and the fact that she was now asking for all of his hair was starting to get to him enough to make him ask, "Do we really need to take away all of my hair for this?".

(Music) The dimly litstreets of Victory Square felt cold and uninviting as the seven of you entered it, as the nosy guards were all gone to man the first defensive line, and the crowds of people who did their damnest to keep a lively atmosphere had already scarpered somewhere, or in the particular case of The Pride and Joy's inhabitants, put up barricades. Which wouldn't have been much of a problem if they had stuck to putting up boards and wards over the windows of the grey stone building, but of course they blocked off the streets and alleys with furniture. This sight was met with some disapproval by Bregovich, as he muttered something along the lines of "Damn tourist, always with the panic and gun waving when army invade or monster attack, as if goblin or elven horde did not attack every Tomsday," while he calmly and confidently took a couple of steps closer, only to jump back with a shock when some particularly twitchy looking drow rose up from behind the barricade, with one of them even going so far as to shoot a musket at his feet and yell out some nonsense about how, "ANY FURTHER MOVEMENT WILL BE TREATED AS AN ACT OF AGGRESSION AND MET WITH IMMEDIATE BALLISTIC VENTILATION!," a heavily accented statement that was greeted with murmurings and shouts of approval from the obviously freelandian drow. Bregovich raised both of his hands up as he walked back from the barking madman? Letting his musket hang on a sling as he calmly said, "Alright, alright, I'm going," before he got close enough to the party to quietly say, "We...may want to take detour to avoid the crazy, granted only other route will take us closer to distillery, but it...has same chance of get shot really."

Solomon had reacted to the gigantic explosion the way any sane and reasonable person near Halley and the same general field of battle as Lexiel would, by forming a pyramid of metal books and floating the fuck away as quickly as humanly possible before something even worse happened. It took him a couple of moments before he decided that the place had a tolerable amount of fire once more and came back to earth with a slightly awkward sounding, "So...what did I miss?". Meanwhile the inside of Atton's Armored personnel carrier was ablaze with bible quotes and prayer, as one couldn't really expect a religious man to not break out into fiery passioned prayer after battling against a dark army led by a ruffian and a gigantic dragon to end a brutal war against a demonic army and also witness a holy grail appear, especially since if the slowly healing wounds of the people surrounding him was any indication, God really was in the mood to answer prayers today...except maybe not the one Private Kaltenbrenner made for nubile women.

Bregovich rather swiftly loaded his loaded weapons back inside of his pack as he said, "It means we move to other seat on castle wall and glare at empty street until field commander allow rest before package delivery." It took a few moments more before he seemed satisfied enough with the amount of weaponry he was carrying to stand up straight with a musket in his hands and turn to stare once more at the party. "We take back door yes? To not disturb terrified patrons who several shots away from full barrel....or their guns," he said just before he pours something foul onto a cloth rag and wraps it around his nose, and rush out to open said door, revealing a moodily lit alleyway with a slightly sulfurous smell to it. Bregovich took a couple of steps outside first before he took off his rag and gestured towards the much brighter exit with the barrel of his musket, "Don't mind weird smell, chemical in air might not be kind to make people see pixies, might be kind to kill instead...is joke, alleyway back of bar smell like alleyway back of bar, which is good since it means plan was not fucked by accidental distillery explosion, but also very bad since invading army mi-." Bregovich was cut short by the sound of another explosion rocking the walls of the town of Bierlack, and he reflexively flinched and let out a dwarven swear word just before he said, "...we do not want to be caught in open, let us go."

"Is...is she still breathing? Did she say anything about why this might be happening?," Radovan said as he quickly got up, patted Zeta's head, and slowly turned to leave the restaurant as soon as he got the coordinates with a panicked sounding, "Please excuse me but I have to go now since Uno is about to collapse and I need to get her to a hospital bye," breaking off into a sprint towards the general direction Zeta gave him. -

Radovan seemed uncharacteristically sheepish for a moment as the sheer weight of peer pressure started to crash down upon him, but he quickly regained his composure just for long enough to say"Well considering the fact that it appears to have the consistency and texture of an old boot I'll have t-," just before he heard his A-Comm ring and quickly shifted to saying, "Take this call apparently, excuse me." He quickly picked up the A-Comm and the call and brought it up to his ears before he said, "This is Radovan speaking, what's up Cathode? Did something go wrong or did you just miss my charming self?". -
Hirata reacted to being unable to use the terminal the way any sane or reasonable person would, by letting out a sigh of frustration before stomping off somewhere else, "Let's just go...these terminals are waaaay too broken for me to even try and use, we might as well head down that assembly line we found earlier and find a way to start taking this facility over"

Ahmed made one final comment before he followed after the rest of group, clearing his throat a little before he said,"I know miss Asuka, I know, even the mightiest heroes in Arthurian myths still fell in the end, after all," with a slightly deadpan, matter of fact tone of voice. Ahmed remained silent the whole trip up to the balcony, and he waited with bated breath as he saw the ark start to rise up above the ground, only stopping to let out a slight sigh of relief when he saw the ark safely fly off into the distance just before he leaned in one of the balcony's railings, and turned to stare at the eyes of the rising sun.- 180 replies

Bregovich paced around on the table a little, quickly gathering his things and making sure that his weapons are locked and loaded as he calmly said, "Superiors yell about explosion naer Victory square main distillery, side of mountain has large hole which black clad metal skull monster with green muskets is use to invade. Plan either fucked, or comrade Goran mix pink mushrooms in wine distillery and flood district in chemicals again, not sure." He stands up from the large pile of weaponry he had apparently been keeping in a fanny pack to stare at the party with an odd look on his face, his prominent nose peeking out a bit. "Superior also give order to guard entrance from monster, but tell us to guard package in case army real, so you come with yeah? No package no job no pay."
-
(Mood Music) Alright so Victory Square is especially cold and depressing this time of year, and it's also more of a circle than a square, and the security checks you had to pass to get to the Drunken Trap might have been a bit too handsy for some, but at least they seemed reasonable now, or at least, the promise of a thousand gold can really help a man 'reason' with a lot of things. The meeting was about what you'd expect from a Dwarven run one, as it somehow combined a free flowing dwarven wine bar with a strict adherence to time tables and a somehow perpetually serious tone. Although by this point they were only three bottles in, and the meeting was set to run for another six. Damn Dwarven constitutions, damned alcohol based time measurements. All of you think that the tall looking Dwarven fella in the steel plated top hat...Bregovich or something was talking about security for the 'package' (whatever that actually was), except he's not talking about anything particularly interesting either, just some shift rotations and what you were supposed to do if someone is physically incapable of fulfilling their shift, nothing interesting or particularly useful really. Right now those of you bored enough to have read the instructional booklets they gave you are probably wondering what this meeting is even for, the ones too bored to consider reading to be a fun diversion is probably too drunk or sleepy to actually listen to what the dwarf was saying, everyone's hoping that this meeting would just end already so that they could prepare for the fun adventure this wasn't going to be, and the dwarf was just about ready to flip his copy of the instructional booklet to another page when the sound of an explosion rocks the entire mountain a few moments before an odd ringing sound comes from Bregovich's pocket. Who then takes out one of those cheap looking sending stones that looks two decades out of date, holds it up to his ear, and just...stands there for a few agonizing moments before he puts it back in his pocket, lets out a sigh, and says, "Well, the plan's fucked," in a completely deadpan tone. Things you should probably ignore

Alan's fingers were a blur of movement for one glorious moment, before with a single press of the enter button he found himself glancing up to the sight of his plan finally coming together. Alan uses Assuming Direct Control against the tank in D3 to try and disable it with an opposed 1d20+Int v 1d20+Int check, with his Heavily Modified Sony CTY-360 granting him a +20% to his Intelligence for the purposes of that check. He commands the Sectopod to fire it's Wrathcannon, at B4 to clear the way for Frigus by hitting the Andromedon and two Advent Soldiers for (6d6+Synergy [16])*2 damage. Since Runner 1 can't actually reach the cannon to explode this round, Alan will simply allow Frigus to move it without commanding it. He will then tell his brand new tank to ram one of the three Advent soldiers with Roll Over for 6d4+Strength (15) damage, dealing 20% of it to itself. Loadout Drones

Rosalyn quick did a double check of the area as Miles shrunk in size and slowly climbed his way up to her shoulder once more. Her eyes had came to rest on the glimmer of light as she said "Uhhh Miles? Did you see where they went?," which of course the cat, being an actual cat, did not give a vocal reply to. She turned slightly to take a look at the odd little girl, making sure that she hadn't disappeared as well before she asked, "How about you?".

Gogo's Strange Journey (5e Game/OOC)
Yours Truly replied to Yours Truly's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Considering the fact that I've gotten 7 out of 6 players in the game, and that I'm already drowning in Vestiges that I'd have to stat out, I am going to have to close the signups for now unless someone leaves, as even with a Co-GM I wouldn't want to run a 5e game with more than 7 players anyway.- 7 replies

Alright so good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the OOC for yet another RP ran by Yours Truly, which in this case is a D&D 5e game set in the world of Ultima Thule! A supercontinent of wonders! Excitement! Magitech creations! Extra uncaring deities intermingled with ascended mortal ones that do care! Secrets of the setting that you're going to have to learn by playing the game, and a mysterious new source of power that you are definitely not getting. But for now, all you know is that this will be one strange journey, and that the Pirate King Gorgo Gottfried must never fulfill his plans for taking over the world!. Yes I know that's a lot of details missing, but to be honest this is less of a recruitment thread and more of a place for the players I've gotten to place their sheets somewhere it won't get buried in logs. Feel free to apply though, just join the following link and ping UlrichVonLucian. Discord Server At most I'm looking for two more players though. Also yes I do have things actually planned for this game, but I'd rather just lore dump the relevant bits for people in the server or through PMs. Setting Details Stand Vestige Rules

Seeing as this course of action just wasn't working and everyone else was already in the process of breaking the dracolich's bones, Solomon decided that this would be a perfect time to shift gears and instead start chucking and launching books at the dracolich's direction to make it's life vaguely more uncomfortable. Solomon uses a token backed Slalom on the Dracolich to distribute 9 slalom stacks on it, gaining 6 tokens while spending 4 out of his 7 tokens. (Level 1) Slalom: Solomon spontaneously creates a series of obstacles using the many vaguely magical books he has at his disposal to try and delay, harass and otherwise inconvenience his enemies. This action allows him to distribute a total of four 'Slalom' stacks to up to four targets, causing them to take 1 more point of damage for every stack that is affecting them. This action has a two round round cooldown. Token Backed effect: Solomon can choose to spend 4 tokens to be able to distribute a total of [Current amount]*1.5 Slalom stacks instead. Level 2: Solomon can now distribute a total of 6 'Slalom' stacks to up to four targets. Loadout

Ahmed was about to say something before Sir Kay uttered a few words in such a way that he couldn't help but quickly glance at Asuka and Beverly's direction, and compare their apparent ages as his mind wonders if that just happened. His mind eventually came to a certain conclusion before he snaps back to attention, politely coughs and says, "But we are heroes aren't we? I mean what else would you call a group of five relative strangers burdened with great power and an even greater responsibility to save the entire future of humanity itself?." His tone wavers for a brief moment as he thinks on what he had already said and moves on to say, "Other than...fools and corpses I guess, bbut I don't think that's what we are! I know that we might be several years of proper training and a crash course in teamwork away from having a snowball's hope in hell of winning against something as powerful as you were right now, and we certainly weren't all that impressive in our debut against the angel, but we're not the same people then as we are now, we've learned, we've lost, we've grown, and we won't make the same mistakes next time, especially not with you teaching us Miss Asuka."- 180 replies

"Sure! Just make sure to not touch anything if you don't know what it's for alright? Also if you want, I could just try and find out how much electricity the generators are producing, in fact! I think I'll just...," Hirata then slowly searched the room for anything resembling a terminal or something of that sort that she could get an energy reading/instruction manual from.
-
"Maybe? I don't really know~, and either way I wouldn't recommend that you draw much more power from the generators than you did from Ichi's energy cell, since if it does shut down then we'd all die~." She let out a slightly nervous sounding laugh before she coughed and said, "Also no I haven't touched it, why?."

"For promising to watch our backs and bring me back safely." He seemed a bit sheepish when he scratched the back of his head and said, "I uhh...I might have painted you as some sort of inspirational Arthurian heroine out to save humanity to reassure her. Although it still feels a bit wrong to just up and abandon her for something this dangerous so quickly after my father went missing..."- 180 replies

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Radovan gave the chief and Miss Rubia a bit of an odd look as he saw the large hunks of what at first appeared to be charred shoe leather arranged on the plate in front of them, and he hesitantly picked one up and raised it up to his mouth, only to rather politely put it back on the plate again after coming to the conclusion that the 'meat's' texture was unsuitable for a dog. He coughed a little to try and get the chief's attention before he asked, "And I'm assuming that the Gyarados 'meat' is all that you've ordered? Because I'm not sure if Zeta can actually eat this...."
