I really have a hard time taking the final boss of Conquest seriously. The battle is challenging, but it felt less climatic than the one to Birthright.
(And no, I don't know what the boss to Revelations is, so please keep quiet on the off hand chance I decide to buy it one day.)

I mean if you want to talk about anti-climatic final bosses: FE1 (Shadow Dragon not as much), FE6, and FE8 had very, very anti climatic final bosses who I could say are worse that Conquest's final boss. Though on Hard or Higher, that boss is insane and so memorable. By the time you reach him, you're half dead and praying nobody dies. Perfect running that chapter was brutal as every unit on one turn mattered to me as if one enemy didn't die, I was screwed.

I never managed to get to FE6s boss, since you need to go through that hell gauntlet in order to do so, and if you're like me and refuse to let even one unit die... I have to disagree with you on Fire Emblem Eight though. Assuming your talking about Sacred Stones, that was a satisfying boss in my opinion. While it was incredibly easy, and all you required was a strong Joshua or Myrrh, at least the boss was intimidating.
I'm a very much casual player, so if I had to do that boss on classic mode, I could see it being insanely difficult. Really, I just wanted Corrin to get the final hit on the boss.

The Donkey Kong Rap, but every time they say Kong, a beloved Reborn characters is killed off/written out of the plot.

I wonder if Azura becomes an interesting and/or likable character in Revelations?
Eh, probably not.

Hahahahaha Revelations. It has some of the worst map design, character bases/placement, and the story...literally shines light one what is wrong with Fate's plot. Sorry I bash the hell out of this thing but by the time you reach chapter 20 and you say Revelations is a good game, you need to play more Fire Emblem games.

I'd figure she would remain as a plot device, since her personality is basically "nice and mysterious." Right now I'm completely and utterly burned out from playing Fire Emblem games, so it remains to be seen if I ever will buy Revelations. I mainly this to make fun of her lack of character.
And this is coming from the guy who plays them for the characters and support first and foremost, with the game play coming in second.

First One Shot, now Road Not Taken... Why do all of these games make me fall into a depression?

I just finished Conquest, and am officially burned out on Fire Emblem. I'll probably pick of Revelations one day just so I can say I completed the series/games though. And I never did collected all of the kids, but I kind of lost interest and just wanted to beat it.

Got a five star Lucius in Heroes today. Not bad, but is he any good?
-
I would say he is an offensive Azama, since they have the same sets but has higher ATK and slightly more Spd. I would say Azama would be your better healer if you have him since he is balanced all around than in 1 stat along side Threaten ATK, but a 5* is a 5*, and if Mages are giving you problems he would do fine, and 30 Spd means that he probably won't be doubled on.

It's probably wrong that I sometimes enjoy the supports in Fire Emblem more than the gameplay, right?

The supports are one of the reasons I replay FE Fates so much actually(that and having little to do IRL so I might aswell play a game I love) and they're arguably one of the best things in the game. I mean defeating a huge dragon is cool and all but LOOK! Lissa needs protection and only Lon'qu can do it!(for some reason the other soldier can't do it huh?)

You kids weren't kidding, Conquest is hard.

Why do Fire Emblem games always leave me sad inside when I beat them?
Oh yeah...
