  1. If we're assuming that "legendary action" means that some of the legendaries will be involved in the main plot, I like the Regi idea. Regirock makes sense, because desert, and with all the trains/Titania's steel types rolling around, I can see Registeel having a part. That only leaves Regice, which thematically makes no sense for the desert, but with all the mountain and caves that Ame has eluded to being in the desert area, I wouldn't be surprised if we could climb to one of the snowy peaks and Regice's is up there or something. Plus, unless it's changed from E16, I'm pretty sure Titania's epithet is "Guardian", so she's obviously guarding something. Her summoning whatever she's guarding during the plot would be hella dope.
  2. I personally hope that the last leader we battle isn't Sapphira. I've always felt that, since most dragons are pseudos, it's one of the strongest types by default, if not the strongest; at least at face value. Seems kind of cliche to me to battle Sapphira last because of that. Also, there's no guaranteed that we fight Amaria in this Episode, despite the episode title; she and Titania have to fix their relationship first. Besides, Amaria's trainer class in the PBS is "Fiancee", which I don't think she is at the moment. Unless that's just a placeholder and will be changed in later episodes. Amaria's also my favorite gym leader, so I'd personally love to fight her last. Furthermore, we know that one episode will have two leader battles, and that 2 leaders will be battled on the Dragon Field. If, after the desert, we learn that the missing twins found a way into Labradorra and we liberate that city before Agate, it would be super easy for us to battle Sapphira and Hardy in the former's gym back to back on the dragon field. We could the liberate Agate and battle Amaria afterwards. My ordering: Titania -> Sapphira -> Hardy -> Amaria.
  3. Too many developments, too many memes, too many shinies.... System overwhelmed. Rebooting... Well, this means that Gym Leaders just got a lot more dangerous. Yay!

    Shine On

-Insert obligatory comment about how amazing that Dhelmise is here-
  5. I can confirm that she mentioned during the stream that she wishes to remake the start of the story, possibly to show the player arrive via the desert into the station before it blows up. Titania will also be battled on a moving train. I can dream. EDIT: I also should say that it's worth noting that the sprite package that Ame released contains the default Gen7 sprites and their canon shines. However, Ame made a second set of custom shinies for Reborn only, and those are the ones that will be used in the game. Only mentioning it because the shiny mention on the first post isn't too to detailed. Also, her custom shinies are amazing and everyone should browse through the folder when it's released. Dhelmise is my favorite.
  6. Between this, and Ame streaming the color of A-exeggutor's shiny sprite, this has been a good day for our favorite palm tree.
  7. A-Exeggutor continues to be the best thing Gen 7 has produced.
  8. Last we saw her, she just learned that her Elite Four position was taken away, and she stormed off. We haven't seen her since.
  9. My favorite branch is having Sapphira get kidnapped, since the events leading up to that are handled phenomenally and, seeing at your team up with Laura to rescue her, you get a bit more inside on her and a few other characters. Worth replaying just for those pieces of dialog alone.
  10. Honestly, I've always wondered if it's even possible for Fern to beat all the leaders he's claimed to beat with the pokemon we know he has. I've always wanted to hack in the 8-9 pokemons we've seen Fern use and try to complete the game with them. See if I get walled somewhere or if it's in fact truly feasible.
  11. As my main run, I've been doing a Dark/Ghost dual-type run and it's been tons of fun. This is my main team; the ones I plan to use for E17 and onwards. Looking at this, I just realized I have way too many playthroughs because apparently I never trained up Whisper. Before Whisper I used either my Bishard or my Froslass. Reaper is by far my MPV - he's cheesed way too many fights with his bulk and Curse. This box is just for completion's sake, as I collected more dark/ghost types throughout the run. The top row's my current rotation, everything below it was either used at some point during the run or caught as a potential reserve. The lower the pokemon is in the box, the lower its level.
  12. You are correct on the decade. For some reason, I thought Adrienn lived way back in the day and the city was much older. But I just replayed the scene where you all escape the underground ruins and xe claims it was just a decade ago. Lin living at Terra's also makes sense. A child Lin would have escaped the ruins with no where to go, a decade prior to her "disappearance". Terra's parents could have adopted her, and the two girls would have grown up together. Explained why Terra's part of Meteor. More so than her explanation of "being bored".
  13. That's actually a very valid point. Do we know for a fact that Shade's male? I know Anna calls him Mr. Shade, and Anna sees things that no other character does, but does that really mean that Shade's male? If the alternate reality is true, and Anna made a wish that "created" the player character who leads instead of Fern, could this mysterious taciturn woman, who's described as disappearing after Anna's wish, have been used as the basis for creating the player character? Like, she vanishes so the player can exist and Shade is, as you say, what's left of her?
  14. So based on Laura's dialogue in Tanzan Depths, we know that there used to be a girl younger than the twins called Lin who lived at the orphanage with everyone else. According to Laura, she was a little shit who terrorized everyone, until she pulled a fast one on Sigmund and he had a punished. After that incident, Lin disappeared; the children assuming she either escaped or died. Based on Lin's dialogue to Sapphira before their brief clash, it's clear that she knows the three sisters on a personal level. Furthermore, the sisters and the doctor keep saying there's something familiar about adult Lin, but they can't place her. Adrienn traveled forwards in time, from prior to a decade from the current time, to the time the story takes place. However, what's stopping the opposite from happening? What if child Lin managed to escape the orphanage but fell down into the Citae d'Arc and, while doing so, traveled through time to Adrienn's time a decade prior? This would make sense, considering xe mentioned seeing a little girl climbing her way out of the ruin shortly after he fell in. So the two end up falling into Arceus' chamber and end up swapping years. Child Lin climbs out in the past and matures into Adult Lin until she reaches the current years once more. This would explain why none of the characters familiar with child Lin recognize her yet she does, because why would they link adult Lin to the child Lin they know? Child Lin was younger than the twins, so there's no way she could have matured into an adult since her disappearance. Furthermore, we know something's up with Lin, a lot of people theorizing that the voice we hear when leaving the Citae d'Arc is child Lin's. Even Anna says that "there was no one there", when talking about Lin's clash with Sapphira, despite everyone telling her that there was indeed someone riding that Hydreigon. This, coupled with the fact that old Reborn League quotes suggest Lin has another self and the fact that we hear a voice talking when the player character leaves the Citae d'Arc for the first time, suggest that something happened to her. Regardless, she lives the following decade, maturing into the power-hungry Lin we know and love. She meets Solaris, an advocate of the church of Arceus and, using her knowledge of what she potentially saw below Reborn City, bastardizes his faith and makes him turn Meteor (a group he was already leading at that point) into the criminal organization it is today. We know that, at the very least, the last point happens because Taka mentions his father being a lot more compassionate before meeting Lin. Even Elias' journal describes Solaris as somewhat of a better person than his current character suggests. EDIT: After just replaying the scene with Adrienn, it sees xe was only down there for a decade at the most; not centuries. I seem to have misremembered. Edited the post to have that fixed.
  15. Woo-hoo! Sprites AND scripts are nearly done! That's awesome, considering I thought it was only the former. Also, fuck yeah! Mapping! Any chances you'll be streaming some of that? Happy New Years to the team. Cheers everyone!
  16. It's not just Dratini too. If you look hard enough, you'll find that most of the pseudos require Rock Climb. Spoilers below on Pseudo locations. I will admit though, I'm not a fan of threads like this. It almost feels like cheating; going into the game's code/essentials to find pokemon locations.
  17. I restarted a new E16 file and it was clear skies for the first few days. After that, it rained for 3-4 days before finally clearing up. So it can clear up. As to the continuous rain, I think the weather's designed to be different for each region, with each region favoring a type of weather (Ametrine favors hail, desert favors sandstorms, etc.). Maybe Reborn City itself favors rain, explaining the more common than usual rain? Although, keep in mind, I have no idea if this is the case.
  18. Whoops! You are correct. Seems like I got the two of them confused. I never used them myself, and the overview on Bulbapedia made confusing as to who evolves into who. Disregard my earlier post; it seems like Shelmet is indeed placed in Steel mistakenly.
  19. The idea is that the guide also lists pokemon that evolve into a certain type. So while Shelmet is pure bug, its evolution Escavalier is Bug/Steel, making it viable for a steel run, thus being listed as steel type. EDIT: I got Karrablast and Shelmet's evolutions confused. Mint3kool is actually correct.
