  1. “Ugh…” Karik’s eyes slowly opened, the bright sunlight quickly shutting them again as he brought his hand over them. Getting up to a sitting position, Karik noticed the rather odd ground. “What’s all this small rocky stuff?” Looking to the ground, Karik noticed something he hadn’t seen up close in awhile. “Sand.." "Sand." "Sand!” Picking up clumps of sand beneath him, Karik had a big grin on his face as he realized where he was. Getting onto his feet, Karik nearly stumbled back to the ground, having not been on land for so long. “Ah, Aye missed ye, land!” It took all his restraint to not grab clumps of sand and drop them on his head in celebration. Noticing the lack of his weapons on his person, Karik quickly looked to his sides, finding his Hatchet and Club nearby. Not caring as much for his other weapons, Karik tried to find the one weapon he wanted. Lain on the ground behind him was his Iron Axe. “Oh, thank goodness.” Karik attached his axe to his belt, collecting the rest of his weapons. “Aye’d hate to lose this thing.” Adjusting his headband, Karik actually gave a look to his surroundings. While he wasn’t one to appreciate the forests in the distance, he was certainly excited that he wasn’t looking at water for once. “Aye be well, Madante.” Patting down his clothes to get the sand off his clothes, Karik waited for the others to wake up.
  2. Karik’s hands had a firm grip on his axe. Staring down at the weakened man, Karik approached Gonzap. “It’s been much too long, Gonzap.” Karik stood calm, his eyes showing no fear as he raised up his axe. “Only been a year, but it certainly feels longer than that.” Karik shook his head. “But this year’s finally over. I can finally go soon. Away from this ship. Just one more Pirate we need to get rid of.” Karik paid no attention to vital areas. He just needed to strike. “I’m going home today. Back to Versidia!” With a quick dash, Karik sought to strike at Gonzap. Move to T28 attack with the Hatchet and END THIS LONG YEAR!
  3. “Ah, thank ye both.” Karik rubbed his head, the small bop leaving an itch. “Aye need to go see Gonzap at the front, though.” Karik dashed off, waving to Emilee and Chirya. “Ay, Gonzap!” Karik swung his axe over his shoulder, both hands gripping onto the handle. His eyes stared straight towards the captain. “Hope ya didn’t mind me wee mutiny. Gone quite well, don’tcha think?” Move to T26 and equip Iron Axe for intimidation tactics
  4. "I've gone this whole fight wounded and battered, this.... this is nothing... really..." "I don't believe you for one minute." Karik took back his cloak, watching as Cadence ran off with Chirya's help. Karik knew she wouldn't admit anything. He just stood still, his mind elsewhere as he fidgeted around with his cloak. Karik snapped out of his own reverie when he heard Darius and Belros moving ahead. “Gah, time to get runnin’.” Karik put his cloak over his shoulders, putting it right back on before dashing ahead. Karik was able to get a peek at the Spy’s battle. “Belros, ye got yer glasses on? He’s right there.” Karik made his quick quip before positioning himself close behind Madante. Karik’s eyes darted to the man at the steering wheel. The tall muscular man with his ridiculous mustache. “There’s Gonzap.” Feelings of anger began to rise as as he gripped onto his Axe. "Once he’s gone, I’m sure of it. This nightmare will be over.” Spinning his axe around, Karik readied himself to approach, resolved to finally get off this ship. Move to Q24 and hold
  5. Karik tried not to look directly towards the Healer, embarrassed from the rather nice treatment from the nice lady. “Th- thank you, Emilee..” Karik looked towards the ground, his voice rather quiet. “I’ll be more careful.” The boy turned his attention back to listen to Cadence. "It was a lucky shot on him, bastard just barely got me too just before he did you... but still, try and be... a bit more careful.” “I will, but...” Karik could hear the weakness in her speech. Teeth gritted, syllables struggling to come out. Her only visible wound was the arrow that got her, but that wasn’t enough to bring anyone to that much harm. Karik could ask what was wrong, but he knew that wouldn’t do anything. Now wasn’t the time for a question. Wasn’t much a young boy could do, but he offered what he had. Putting his arms up behind his cloak, Karik started to remove it, the red fabric still soft, even if it wasn't the most clean thing. Holding it between his hands, Karik outstretched his arms towards Cadence. “Here, you don’t seem very well.” Karik gave a smile to the girl as he spoke. “Probably won’t help you much, but you're sweating quite a bit. You could use something to help clean it up.” He wanted to know why. What had she done to exhaust herself like that. He was sure of one thing, though. It was probably his fault.. “And whatever you did… Don’t do it again.” Karik tried to keep smiling, not wanting to seem ungrateful. “We don’t need a second person going down.”
  6. “Ugh...” Karik let out a groan, the stinging pain in his chest certainly the source of it. His eyes were getting watery, the feeling of nearing death’s door and being brought back from it something that was certainly not something he had learned before. Through his teary eyes, he saw a shade of red. It wasn’t the shade of red he knew but still, he hoped that it was that familiar red. The familiar red eyes of that beloved woman. Was it her? Was everything just some darn nightmare? Karik mentally shook his head, knowing full well that it wouldn’t be her. Not after so long. It was probably just some pirate’s uniform, come to make him work to the bone. Still, the more he looked at that red, the more it looked like… "Karik. Karik, can you hear me?" “Ca… Cadence...” Karik looked at the girl. The familiar red coat, almost bringing the boy to real tears as he realized where he was. Back on the pirate ship, closer and closer to finally going back home. Karik stared straight into the girl's red eyes, his memories of that woman coming back to him. “Guess that explains it.” “I… I’m fine.” Karik shook his head around, not wanting to put more worry on the Fencer. “Just a little woozy...” The boy pushed himself off the ground, sitting up straight. Pulling up his cloak and his tattered clothes, his eyes fixed themselves on the wound still left over. “Thank you. I’m sorry for troubling you like this.” Pushing his clothes back down, Karik got back onto his feet, stumbling a bit as he rose himself too quickly. Grabbing his axe, he used it as a cane to keep himself from falling over. “But, my wound certainly looks better than it should.” A Vulnerary could only do so much, and this was certainly more than that.. “I don't know how you did it, but thank you so much.” Karik gave a smile to the girl, trying not to fall over from his weak self.
  7. You know what, I gotta give some nominations to some friends. Some of them already got nominated, luckily. Might add more later on, though. Also, thanks for the nomination, Pocky. You too, Sparky.
  8. Karik didn’t react in time. All he saw was an arrow coming after him. His legs tried to run out of the way, but to no avail as the arrow struck his chest. Near fatal damage, the boy could feel his energy fading, a task to even stand up. His axe felt heavy in his hands, the weapon sliding down to the ground. With a loud thud, the boy followed, his wound requiring treatment. “No… Not yet… Not when home is so close...”
  9. “Careful, Cadence.” Karik rushed in front of the girl, his arms gripping the handle on his Hatchet. An idea popped into his head as he remembered how close the Archer was to incapacitation. His eyes darted to the Long Bow in his possession. “Now that be a nice piece of booty.” Spinning his Hatchet around with his wrist, Karik prepared himself to strike, his eyes stuck on the Archer’s vital points. “Ye ain’t keeping that treasure fer long, matie.” Move to L24 and Capture with a Hatchet for some nice treasure

  11. “Another one down.” Karik shook his head around, trying to put his rather annoying feelings for what he just did out of his mind. Catching a glimpse of the Pirate's treasure, he picked up the knives, wondering how they were staying afloat so well. “Well, these would probably be useful.” Karik looked over his shoulders, seeing Belros talking to him from the planks. "Hey Karik, mind giving me those knives? I believe I'm more expericened with them than anyone else here." “Thank ye.” Grabbing onto the planks, Karik handed the set of knives over to the kind Spy. “These weapons were weighing me down. Ye’ll probably get better use out of these then that Pirate. Why was he even holding these? None of Gonzap’s Pirates know how to use them.” Hands over Pirate 12's booty.
  12. “Pesky thing.” Karik made a silent curse as he dodged the Pirate attack. Karik made sure he had a good hold on his axe as he escaped onto the planks. Dashing forward, Karik jumped right back off to strike at the Pirate from behind. “Away with ye!” Move to K21 and demand those knives from Pirate 12 using the Iron Axe!
  13. Alison & Karen Alison jumped backwards when he saw the stream of water come from the fountain. When the liquid began swirling into a sphere in Marius’s hand, he looked at the ball with wonder as he watched it rise to the ceiling and fall back towards Marius, later returning to the fountain. “That was amazing, Sir Marius.” Alison tried his best not to burst into excited cheering, not wanting to embarrass himself in front of the Coerators. “Cindy’s already doing a good enough job making a fool of herself, anyway.” Alison could still hear his master’s thoughts in his mind. Though, he didn’t really need xyr confirmation to know what xe was thinking at this point. "Perhaps if you're lucky you'll fight alongside me one day." “Oh, no, I can barely fight or use Lumen.” While somewhat of an understatement of what he could do, Alison was much better as a servant than a fighter. “If anything, I’m sure Master Marcus would enjoy having you as an ally in battle.” Though, Alison seriously doubted Karen would care if such an astounding figure was fighting with xem on the battlefield. “Hey, I’m all up for people doing my work for me. He can fight on my side any day.” Karen was shooting a rather annoying smirk in xyr butler's direction. Alison tried his best not to send a scowl back at xem. Wouldn't exactly paint a nice picture of him for the Coerators.
  14. Gotta say, 5th Cell's games have some pretty nice music.
  15. Luka shook his head all around, trying not to lose his focus. “Everything’s fine. They’re not too far away.” Luka began rushing closer to his allies, seeing Ecquis close enough. “Glad I could catch up.” Just need to stay close. Luka took his position, bracing himself for the nearby Monk's Light Magic. Move to F12 and hold
  16. Karen & Alison “Well, this got interesting.” Karen pointed out the obvious as xe engrossed xemself in watching the chaos ensue. Karen put xyr elbow onto the armrest, fixated on watching whatever chaos ensue. “Master Marcus, don’t you think we should maybe ask Marius or Aqui some questions? I’d imagine this is as great a time as any to do so.” Alison looked at Karen, the child revelling in watching violence ensue. “Nah, I’m more interested in seeing some Lumen fly.” Karen looked over xyr head, looking towards at Alison with an excited smile. “You can go ask them, if ya want. Not exactly anything I really care to ask them about.” Alison wordlessly got out of his seat, making his way closer towards the stage. He felt a knot in his stomach as he approached Marius himself, the rather thin man having such a terrifying effect on the butler. “Um, excuse me, Sir Marius.” Alison gave a bow to the Coerator, trying to hide his worry over whether or not he referred to him correctly. “I must say it is an honor to meet you. My name is Alison Marcus.” “Um, I’ve heard your powers over Lumen are some of the strongest out there. I’m quite interested to know what it’s like.” Alison’s eyes shifted in all directions, refusing to look Marius in the eye. “Would you mind giving a demonstration? But if you would rather not, I understand.”
  17. Karen & Alison Karen wasn’t sure what happened after xe fell asleep. Xe had just woken up, but it felt like xe wasn’t on xyr bed. And also moving. “Huh, I usually find dreams a lot brighter than this.” It took xem awhile to realize xyr eyes were still closed. “Ah, good morning, Master Marcus.” Alison greeted his awakened master with a smile. He was holding up Karen, his posture still as straight as can be. “Dang it, Alison. I was hoping to get a nice rest and wake up at noon. Why am I not in the comfort of my bed?” “You were called to an assembly at the auditorium.” A little spider appeared on Alison’s head, holding up the carved piece of wood that invited them. “I thought it best to not wake you up, so I decided carrying you was the best course of action.” “You mean you knew I’d ask you to if you woke me up normally?” “Pretty much.” “That’s a good butler.” Alison pushed the auditorium doors open with his shoulder, immediately looking for a suitable set of chairs for the both of them. He took a seat near the back, knowing that Karen would probably end up falling asleep on xyr own. Wouldn’t want xem to get caught, right?
  18. Alison “Wow, no wonder Master Marcus wanted to torment you for the rest of the year.” Alison shook the thoughts out of his mind, Eric nearly falling off his head onto the ground. “Thank you, Miss Whipschnaps.” Alison gave a bow, dropping the girl’s luggage on the ground in front of her. It certainly took quite a bit of restraint to not throw the lighter bags at Tessa’s face. Maybe more restraint than the boy felt was necessary. “I’d say, um...” Alison didn’t really know if the dorms were really any different from each other. One thing was for sure, he had to make sure Karen wasn’t using the one he chose. Not sure of the contents of any of the buildings, Alison simply pointed in the direction of the dorms, not paying attention to where he was pointing. “That one looks good.” Alison turned behind him, seeing the small army of spiders carrying those heavy pins. Alison gave a grin, trying to hide his own worry from the girl. “I'll return your hairpins another time, don't worry.” Alison only just realized the rather poor decision to have this many spiders around Tessa.
  19. “There be only so much room on those planks. I shouldn’t try to take too much.” Karik searched his mind for how to approach the enemies on the ship. Then he remembered what he learned during his time on the water. “Hey, that could work.” Looking toward the edge of the boat, Karik took a running start before leaping off the ship, moving into a dive position before hitting the water. Rising back to the surface, Karik gave himself a breath of air before diving back underwater, swimming towards one of the enemy Pirates. “Can’t incapacitate him, guess there be only one thing to do.” His enemy in sights, Karik took out his Iron Axe, sneaking onto the planks before striking at the Pirate. Move to K19 with Super Swimming Powers and strike Pirate 7 with the Iron Axe
