it's a lot harder to do this than it sounds, plus it's very easy to miss something when putting together a patch like that. the safest method so people don't run into problems is redownloading the entire game.

nope! some stuff won't be compatible until they're updated to work with v12, so it's best to wait with reinstalling those mods for the time being.

As there's been a recent influx of people drawing fanart/making a fanwork of the game and/or creating OC's for Rejuvenation specifically, it only seems appropriate that an official, pinned thread gets opened for the people who have drawn fanart of the game! The old ones kept getting buried, so now there's one thread that will permanently be pinned to the subforum so it's easy to find. The only thing we ask of you is that any drawings made within a month of the most recent version's release are put in a spoiler to avoid spoiling people on accident - other than that, go ham!
Also, it doesn't matter whether it's old or new stuff you've made -- if you've made any, feel free to post it here. We'd love to see it!

Like mentioned in the thread itself by the person who replied to it -- if you have backup saves enabled, revert to an older save file. If that doesn't fix the issue, please post your savefile here and someone will help you get unstuck!

Hi!!!! I'm Zumi and I'm a 21 year old walking talking art disaster who doesn't know how to take breaks, yeehaw
If you've been around for a while, you've probably seen me talk from time to time in the Rejuvenation subforum or in the status bar. I joined Reborn in 2015 after having lurked a couple of months in 2014 (which is around the time Rejuvenation first took off and became more popular). Within this community I'm mostly known as a developer (well, lead sprite artist) for Pokemon Rejuvenation, but to those who have been around for longer than a year and a half or so might also know me as a previously very active community member and ex-staff member! I used to be a moderator on Reborn's Showdown server, and for a lesser amount on the Discord as well. I'm still in said discord, but I've only recently again become a little bit more active than I was for over a year, so not a lot of newer members might know who I am outside of poking my head into the Rejuvenation forums/channel from time to time -- hence the reintroduction :^)
Apologies for the potty mouth i have by the way. I might sound pretty formal here but I throw the word fuck around like it's the word "hi", it's kinda become a habit and it be like that sometimes

Like I mentioned before, I do most of the spritework for Rejuvenation -- at least, spriting that isn't related to mapping or overworld sprites. All the VS, back and battle sprites you see in game are done or have been edited to have matching quality by me (at least as of V12 lmao)! I also have been doing cover art for Rejuvenation since V8, which is uh. three years now already?? jesus christ. where did the time go
I also mentioned I used to be staff on Reborn, but that's no longer a responsibility of mine :^) now i'm retired and get to sit on my lawn and yell people to get off ot it. 60 years too soon? maybe, but i have back problems already (hahAHA) which makes me feel like an old lady so i'm 99% sure i'm allowed to do that

I can talk about a lot of things!! Though of course I enjoy topics related to my hobbies (ESPECIALLY art and the flower parade) and other people's interests most, and less so talk about politics -- While I'm well aware it's important to know about what's going on in the world in regards to bad shit happening, I personally think there's enough negativity to go around already and I'm sure not everyone wants to constantly be reminded of it so I prefer talking about things that can cheer people up a little!! If you're passionate about a hobby, I'd love to hear about it
also if you talk to me about any of my favourite games and say you like any of my favourite characters i will combust on the spot and start crying about how much i love said character and i might not be able to shut up for a while.

So... Lately we've been receiving a lot of questions in regards to the game -- more specifically about the story. We would like to clear a couple of these doubts or questions up, so this thread will remain open for a week to ask about anything in regards to Rejuvenation! This could be about the storyline, but also about the background or behind-the-scenes stuff in regards to the creation or writing of the story. Or, you could just ask the dev team how they've been experiencing development so far! The thread is meant less for the technical aspect of the development -- but if you're curious, you can still ask questions about it.
Answers will mostly be provided by @Jan and me, but it's possible that other dev members like Azery (change ur name binch!!! i cAN'T @ U), @Winter or @Alex chime in from time to time as well if they're able to answer the questions better than others can! Hopefully we'll be able to clear up any doubts or questions you might still have. We'd like you to stay courteous however -- any crude questions (i.e. "can you kill off this character bc they suck") will be ignored and removed. Aaaand of course we won't be able to give clear answers about most unreleased content, though that should speak for itself.
Before you post in this thread, we'd like to answer three of the most prominent questions that have been asked lately. We'd like you to read these thoroughly before posting! If these questions are repeated in the thread, they will be deleted as well.

You're finally going to get one in V13!
No. There have never been plans for romance routes, or a set romance at all. The MC is not going to end up dating someone whatsoever -- And the relationship points you gain from hanging out with characters are not used for romantic intentions, but rather will affect how future events might play out later in the game. Right now there's no direct notable consequences, but they will affect future events, so they are still important.
No. Melia has no romantic feelings towards the player. Instead, Melia is in love with Venam and vice versa -- They simply haven't outright confessed to each other yet. There's been multiple hints towards this and proper buildup as well, but Venam and Melia definitely are attracted to each other in the romantic sense -- not in just the platonic sense.
