  1. I know what B&j ice cream is, I had it on a few occasions but I think I like BR more, bit I didn't know that's its tradition to eat B&j when one is feeling sorry for oneself. Anyways, snap out of it. Self pity is a worthless thing. Weenie?
  2. 7/10 cute but Vaporeon is best eeveelution. Do you live in the Arctic Circle, then?
  3. 4/10 both this and the earlier non-zoomed one I had seen, because too anime-ish and too revealing. I'm rather uptight when it comes to dress.
  4. Saying it again, it's worth it if you do the correct thing when faced with a moral choice in Ametrine.
  5. Thanks very much, I appreciate it! And yea, there's plans for a dragon/steel Mega with a logical connection...But it's not Druddigon!
  6. Hey, I said it could take EQ and Psyshock, I didn't say from what. And besides, Acid Armor is a thing if you want it to be physically fat. In any case, I didn't want to make it too brokenly fat.
  7. That is of course true. I learned to appreciate the worth of Arbok in that sense: Early game access to Glare and Acid Spray was excellent in many encounters, and helped greatly with that PULSE Tangrowth too, if I remember aright.
  8. In Gen7 there should be a Mega Magnezone with Levitate.

    1. Phi-Bi

      Phi-Bi

Or wish that the fakeleak involving fly, float, etc. is true

    2. Exalted

      Exalted

would be a shame if thousand arrows got released

  9. Week 1 vs Avalon used this as my OU nominee when teambuilding for Zumi: Thundurus-Therian @ Expert Belt Ability: Volt Absorb EVs: 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed / 4 SpDef Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Nasty Plot - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power Ice - Dark Pulse The idea was to get Speed Boost and maybe a sub from Ninjask'd and set up a NP and sweep. It woulda worked perfectly, with DPulse to murk Avalon's Psychics also, but unfortunately Zumi did not think to lay SR first before passing to Thundurus-Therian, so Multiscale Dragonite was able to live a HP Ice and kill it off. A very solid build regardless of the misplays, though, because it nicely checks Avalon's electric types and conplements Mega Aero. Pity it was misplayed.
  10. TIL that a large owl has taken up residence in a tree outside my window, and I can see its nest. Occasionally it looks at me.
  11. I can name few material possessions that are 'significant' as you say, but such as they are: 1. The Jandhyam, or Sacred Thread, is a symbol of a Brahmin completing the Upanayanam, (the closest English has to describing this being 'Rite or Tradition of Passage') which takes the form of a simple thread worn on the torso, over the left shoulder. 2. A gold ring set with yellow sapphire left to me as a token by my late grandfather, and another plain one granted to me by my parents on the completion of the Upanayanam as cited above. 3. A Cross Pen, won by the award I received from my school when I graduated tenth grade after achieving a 99% score in Economics, about the highest possible in the country. I have special significance for that pen, which I use almost exclusively to sign my name on documents. Besides, as my father and grandfather instilled in me, a Pen is not merely an accessory, it is a mark of an educated man, all the more vital for one to have if one calls oneself an accountant. To leave home without a pen is to do oneself a disservice, and is akin to leaving without wearing trousers.
  12. Ha, I'd probably lead a corporation that aims at unlocking a Pokemon's maximum potential. We would do Pokémon eugenical research into the concept of IVs, how to eliminate weak strains, and how to ensure that better IVs and ideal natures are brought about, and to study the causes and effects of EVs from artificial sources. True, we are neither good nor bad-- we aim for a greater objective, of stronger Pokémon, both in nature and with us, and for that we are willing to go to any lengths, even if it involves ruthlessly subjecting a poor Mon to a glutinous blob over and over again to make it lay eggs, and then forcing that poor lv.1 baby to the same evils, with various infusions and items, discarding all the substandard babies and eggs like trash, with no regard for Pokémonas individual entities...all in the name of seeking perfection. You can say that I sound like a hardcore version of Colress, or maybe like the guys who created Mewtwo. But that's what I'd be doing, helming Operation Strand. That'd probably make me an 'evil team boss' but as we say, we're not really evil, are we? The player could join us, and we would grant them access to the daycare (which we run as a huge egg-making factory) and we could help them get perfect IVs and natures on Pokémon. Or they could oppose us, and be with the 'casuals' community of trainers who say that Pokémon are to be loved and treated as individuals, no matter how disfigured or crippled by poor genetics (imagine a nature contrary to their essence, which hurts a Pokemon's natural potential, like a Gentle Gyarados or a Lax Jolteon, I say, or a weak set of IVs that results in poor physical condition and bodily fraility) and so dislike what we do to improve genetics, despite it being for a greater good. In either case, this would fit in well with my mien. I could use my collection of perfect, mechanical/alien/non-bionic Pokémon to support my character , like Magnezone, Porygon-Z, Metagross, Starmie, Genesect and so on. I made a thread about this and other things, a while back. It's run its course, but if you're interested you could sheets check it out.
  13. Get that sissy spirit out of here. Only the ironclad may prevail. And you should definitely eat ice cream, but perhaps without the lacrimose additions. Wouldn't you agree, BlueMoonIceCream?
  14. Literally copy+pasting this from my art thread because reasons; I present to you the next in the Mega evolutions series: Goodradus Megatherion! MEGA GOODRA Type: Poison/Dragon Ability: Liquid Ooze Base stats: HP: 90 Atk: 120 (+20) Def: 110 (+40) SpAtk: 130 (+20) SpDef: 180 (+30) Speed: 70 (-10) This one is actually a favourite of mine. It's inspired by the nudibranch, a sea slug that eats poisonous sea anemones and imbibes the toxins to become poisonous itself. That's why Mega Goodra is Dragon/Poison! The crown of tentacly antennae and the larger row of the same on the back are a reference to this, as are the bright colours that advertise toxicity. It's still a cuddly, gooey, huggy Dragon though! Cute and yet icky. Now, getting competitive, I wanted to do Goodra some justice, really. A great concept ruined by subpar typing, not-very-good(ra) physical defenses and a crippling lack of recovery. I debated about giving it Regenerator, but that's not strictly in conformance with slug biology, and like with Mega Yanmega with Levitate over the not-inconsistent Tinted Lens, it's absurd for a thing to not have an obvious biological ability. So, Mega Goodra gets Liquid Ooze as an ability, improving over Gooey in terms of physiological logic. Now, Liquid Ooze is a rather meh ability, situational but not beneficial in particular. And yet I wanted to patch up Goodra's flaws. So what do I do? Why, the most evil of things, of course: Grant Goodra access to Recover! It makes sense, really, if Gastrodon can get it, why not the other sea slug? Recover makes Goodra much more potent as a tank, and lets it stick around (here) longer to abuse it's fantastic coverage: Draco Meteor, Outrage, newly STAB Sludge Wave, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Earthquake, Aqua Tail, Power Whip, and so on. And now, it can't even be poisoned, so it can even run a horrible defensive set with Toxic or Dragon Tail and Recover! As I'm giving it reliable recovery, I may as well make it the fattest thing on the planet. Loses speed a bit, because it's so FAT, but who cares, this thing can drink EQs and Psyshocks with ease! And there were are. Enjoy!
  15. Yes, we do have middle names. Us brahmins usually have a deity's name as a middle name, or if they're Tamil brahmins, their father's first name as a middle name or some such. Why do you ask that when you see me sign 'K.S.P' each time in my art? That's obviously three initials. Weenie, I 'm still waiting.
  16. I'll take that as a compliment. Weenie?
  17. A wild Jeri appeared! Quick, catch it! And then put it in a PC box for eternity! And weenie, it's odd, hearing you call me 'Viridescent' in full. Why the formality? Dan, then, to continue Jeri's prediction.

Enjoy!
  19. I am here. I am drawing evil things. Dhan?
  20. I was summoned by intellectual discussion and puns. They are my gods. Weenie, show up, and gimme a piece of your grey matter on the new drawing(s).
  21. I can see why you say 'squirrel'; it's because of the eyes, most likely. Rodents have completely black eyes, with no normally visible sclerae. Anyways, yes, I do agree that this doesn't have the ethereal feel of a fairy, but rather a quiet mystery, like a rare but 'mundane' mammal. Also, I did not say, "Stall is dishonourable!" as if it was a universal truth or something. Merely that using it does not conform to my code or style. I'm not a happy stall player, and I dislike facing it, hence my zealous preparation in building every team of mine, to ensure that they contain something that can stall break. Ironically, Nasty Plot Togekiss is an excellent stall breaker. And as for our winged wanderer, give me time. I'm in a bit of the so called artist's block about that, because IDK how to give it form. I've tried a few things, but they all seemed a tad too...far fetched.
  22. I just want Mega Magnezone with Levitate, or some way for it to stay off the ground permanently. I don't care what logic that entails.
