  1. Right, here is a somewhat casual pen sketch. A realistic interpretation of Togekiss and Togetic, which I always saw as feathered mammals rather than actual birds. So this drawing reflects that, with an avian body and wings but mammalian face, ears (which I interpret those pointy things on Togekiss's head as) and legs. Still, statutory warning: CONTAINS BURD (sort of)
  2. Hello and welcome to Reborn, Strider! Be sure to check out the Rules on your left and do drop into the Showdown Server for a chat or two, though it looks like you've already explored the forums a bit. Enjoy your stay!
  3. This is greatly convoluted. But I am all for it, because it means that finally, Magnezone will not be hit by Earthquake. And yes, I appreciate its attempt to remedy Pokémon logic with the positional classification, but IMO the types should stay the same. No wind types needed. It is simply that all flying types are also floating (notable exceptions could be Dodrio and Gyarados, thereby making them susceptible to EQ despite their type) , but not all floating mons need to be flying types. And yeah, all I want is to be able to use any Slashing move to do what Cut can, and any Smashing or Crushing or Projectile move to do what Rock Smash can, and moves such as Superpower and Heavy Slam to do what Strength can. I guess that also means Zen Headbutt and the like should be able to do what Headbutt can, on trees. Of course, some HMs like Waterfall and Surf cannot be replicated by other moves.
  4. Finally, a matchup where the opponent's types don't straight up counter ours and where we are allowed to use a greater range of our best Pokémon, instead of being limited to just one! Let's go, and here's to a fair week!
  5. I don't eat breakfast cereal that much, but oh, plain old Kellogg's cornflakes probably. What's your favorite animal?
  6. Uh...no? It was posted at 12:15 AM in my time? So yes, it was beyond midnight.Anyways, good morning to you too, oh ye critic of others' sleep habits.
  7. PRAISE BURD OF HONOUR! Anyhow, I can't really change what that quiz indicates to be my type. Close enough, I say. And as for yours, Too fast/10
  8. Hello, and welcome to Reborn. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here!
  9. Aaaaaugh! Insomnia again. But now I think I can sleep at last... Spine?
  10. Can't answer that, don't remember, and it's certainly not in my character to give such importance to a bad quote as to remember it and its quoter. Tea or coffee?
  11. Nobody thinks I show up, but then I do! Micky?
  12. 6/10 a tad too Anime-ish for my tastes.
  13. It's a nice day today. The scent of the night queen still hangs heavy in the morning air, the Sun slowly creeps up over the trees and bathes the grass in light, all the birds are busy and twittering, coffee is being made....and then my dog brings a dead frog and puts it expectantly in my lap.

My dog's obsessed with assiduously bringing people random objects, despite being assured multiple times that the market for the same is sluggish or even non-existent.

haha, well put. my cats are similar; they have a pendant for bringing things not quite dead yet so they perform some kind of medieval torture while glaring pointedly at me. and after swallowing their subjects whole, they expect to lick my face. pets are lovely.

  14. The only thing we could get from Corey that we couldn't get elsewhere was Croagunk, if I remember aright. All his other mons aren't that special; the Nidos can be found in the wasteland's tunnels and stunky was there in the railnet and alleways. Zubat was on Azurine Island, I think. So we don't really need anything from him (save the Haunter but we know(?) that Shade took that one...)
  15. Druddigon would actually be good. A sturdy, reliable dragon with a good arsenal of moves...if you bother teaching it anything. You could also fish in Ametrine in a place where you haven't yet been for a Horsea and hope you get one. Kingdra is powerful. Also yea, at least you have floatzel now.
  16. I've crossed Lati speed. Currently at Adamant Talonflame Speed!

  17. Avalon, why do you have DragMag? Whose idea was this? I am personally wounded!

  18. Happy birthday! Wishing you a great year ahead.
  19. Weenie, why don't you ask this sort of stuff in the Gazebo, and bring some life into it? I get that I'm not being able to find the time to structure my thought there, but no reason to let it die! There's nothing remotely bad that's being done in the name of the Santana Dharma, at the very least. I could not be bothered to analyze what is being done in the name of dogma, it requiring too much energy and peace of mind to do so here. Next question: why are dogs so distracting? I can't work at all when my dog is with me, he's too soft and huggy.
  20. You have a Magnezone. I now like you more than I did before I saw this RMT. I also love the fact that you're using HP fighting Fat Lati; I thought I was the only one. I'd still run Draco just to do something to the usual things that Kati can check, however. Like, you can't really switch in to Keldeo well with anything else without risking a big chunk or a burn, so may as well replace Toxic for it in my frank opinion. I get that you like poisoning things like Chomp and Lando-T and Rotom and Hippo and shit that switches it, but most of 'em take a massive amount from even a weak Draco anyhow. Or maybe you can run Thunderbolt just to exclusively deal with Keldeo and Torn-T better; Fat Lati can tank whatever Torn-T normally throws at it, even a Knock Off: 0- Atk Tornadus-T Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 152+ Def Latias: 106-126 (29.1 - 34.6%) tickles. Granted, Hurricane can still do its shenanigans, and LO Torn can wreck you, but something's better than nothing, what? Now, as for the Gyarados issue I don't see what the issue even is, but maybe running HP Electric or Taunt on Keldeo can work to arrest a sweep. LO taunt works well for me versus those ugly fat things that like to do ugly stuff as well. That's the best I can come up with now, hope I helped. And yeah Volcanion needs to go.
  21. Xiri, my dear chap, if there's one thing I'll promise to do in nations it will be to kill you.Anyhow, may as well throw in the idea of CurseFerro. I'll add info later.
