Risa  might be my favorite new Rejuvenation leader(at least I think she's one), her little hip swinging animation won her over for me.

Beat Flora first try, but man what a battle, only had one pokemon left(decideye). Her ace is so  bulky and her field + weather + seed shenanigans makes her pokemon take a lot more abuse then you'd expect. At the very least I was able to get talonflame caught up to level 60 and caught a monster specimen of a dodrio(naughty nature with perfect attack and speed IVs).   I do like Flora as a character though, she acts totally different to how you'd expect from her waifish appearance. Not liking Erin too much though haha.

Germany lucked out soooo hard.

Sonic R has an amazing OST. Say what you want about the game itself, but the OST is pure 90s  cheese at its best. Back In Time is my personal favorite off there.

Beat that animu doofus Erik. I was NOT expecting that field for an electric leader, but it definitely made the fight more interesting and tougher than it would've been with just the regular electric field. Unfortunately Claydol ended up near useless as a result and it took 3 tries but I managed to win by switching out claydol for Primarina and some lucky flinches from lycanroc's rockslide at the end while paired up with Ludicolo. Before I had Throh OHKO his ace via a bulked up superpower, which helped tremendously as his ace kept creaming me before.

wtf Masquerain's buff in gen 7 was more than I thought.  Its special attack AND speed rose an entire 20 points each. 

What music is the track that plays in Rejuv's  akuwa/kristiline based off? It's such a lovely piece.

Idk how I feel about Rejuv's Crescent.  She feels so untouchable and is acidic to everyone, not to mention her literal plot magic that seemingly let's her do whatever she needs to to do in order to overcome(or help the player overcome)  whatever situation she's in.  Having just finished amber's gym, the whole mt valor peak  scene reminded me of how much I dislike her character. The goth crap is like icing on the cake, she feels like a total Sue.

 I suspect this is intentional to some degree, but so far she's my least favorite character in the game.

Ludicolo solo'd Groudon. 9 levels behind, no potions(groundon healed though). And here I thought Ludi was just good for Hm stuff, but no, the guy has proved himself to be quite the player this playthrough.  I fully respect the colo now.

Part of it has to do with being able to take advantage of fields. he's probably not as good in the official games but his field game in Reborn-esque games is pretty solid. 

Togedamaru has been so good this playthrough. Guaranteed nuzzles and terrain shifts via sturdy + spiky shield are super useful for those high level boss fights.

It's close with Emolga as my favorite pika-clone.

Crawli beaten!  He was easy somewhat but took out 5 of my pokemon due to rock slide missing pinsir at one point. His escavalier is his toughest pokemon IMO. But with toucannon/talonflame and lycanroc I was able to tear through his other pokemon.

Looking forward to Jojo dub clips tomorrow. Love iggy's dub.

So is Mosely supposed to be French? or umm Kalosian? I'm trying ti picture a voice in my head reading her dialogue but it's a bit tough.

Screw Valerie's fat milotic. I get her down to just it and it proceeds to sweep 5 of my team. 

Then i realized togedamaru outspeeds it even on the water field. Two zing zaps is all it took to KO it, and with sturdy it's a guarantee.

But I didn't know that at first so I wasted a turn using nuzzle then zing zapped it and had to rely on Primarina and vileplume to finish her off.

Funnily enough her Primarina wasn't even a big deal. It's Milotic and Floatzel that are PITAs, Miltoic due to its monsterous special bulk and floatzel due to being the Flash on water and its waterfall hitting pretty hard due to the rain/field boost.

Geara and Narcissca are like the big noticeable difficulty spikes of early game Rejuv. Geara took me about 3 tries and Narcissca was the  hardest leader easily so far, mainly due to her field countering your usual go-tos for fighting ghosts. I do like the goldenleaf town arc though.

I never realized how good oddish was for an early mon until playing Rejuv. He's tougher than I initially thought. But now I need a leaf stone haha. Found a water, fire, and thunder one. But still no leaf <_< 

Also dedenne has been putting in work.  Saved my butt a couple of times too. Pika clones are usually reliable  choices for early game mons. Thing is in Reborn dedenne just shows up way too late to appreciate. I feel like dedenne should be moved  up much earlier in Reborn. maybe around the period during Corey's or shelly's gym. 

This sucks. My laptop is acting incredibly lame and just started running at like half speed to where rejuv can't even finish a battle as the script hangs making it unplayable. Restarting fixes this for like 5 minutes then it happens again. I had the same issue with Reborn for a while but it kind of stopped happening, but now it's doing it all over again. I have no clue how to fix this and it's ruining my day.

How do I purify shadow pokemon again? I totally forgot lol. Or do you have to beat the 2nd gym first?

First time playing Rejuv in a loooong time(I think last time was version 6? I remember Valerie being OP) and I gotta say it's come a long way.  Jan, zumi and crew: you guys have done an exquisite job with this game. The presentation is done very well and the game just feels so much more polished than it was earlier on.  I'm enjoying it a lot more this time(though I still enjoyed it the first time, don't get me wrong) and just it feels so good to play.  

Currently just beat the dimensional gyrados, who seemed a lot easier compared to the first time I fought him lol

Beat Amaria, took 3 attempts. Honestly she seemed kind of easy? Toxicorak with dry skin can solo  half of her team as they deal little damage to it(mine was only level 81 too) and it can sludge up the field via sludge wave as well. Her biggest threat was rotom(of course lol) but the rest of her team wasn't too bad. I felt like she should've been fought before titania, as Titania has a tougher team. Amaria doesn't even have a mega!!! 

Okay so wait hold up, according to the badge list you need both amy and titania's badge to get level 90 pokemon to obey you but I only have titania's yet it still gave me the level 90 obedience cap.

pokemon let's go looks lame IMO. Goood for the Go fans, but a pokemonswitch should be so much more.

Learned about Chinese government's treatment of Uyghurs today via an article. I figured it was bad because being a muslim minority of course they'll be mistreated since it seems to happen everywhere sadly but  I was ignorant of how bad it was.  "Re-education" aka concentration camps(torture included)  for uyghur men and forced marriages of Uyghur women to Han chinese men.  It's basically ethnic cleansing. Screw China's government.
