I never really liked Kira as much as most people. Perverts don't interest me that much and Kira's perverted habits come across as pathetic more than anything else. Also I frankly don't find him all that likable personality wise, as I feel he has little respectable qualities. Dio was a tremendous jerk but was extremely charismatic, had a somewhat believable background as to why he was so rotten, and there's this undeniable sense of awe to where you can udnerstand why he/his followers think so highly of himself. Valentine was much the same way and had even better reasoning behind his goals than anyone else. Whammu was honorable and prideful, so while he was a villain you could still respect him. That's the thing about Kira, I can't really respect him at all as he has nothing worth respecting about him. He's a perverse, selfish creep who is frankly an asshole. The only thing I really like about him is his stand which is pretty badass and initial look, but then he gets an ugly hairstyle then later on stops being interesting. At least he's better than Akira and Diavolo, but that's not saying much. Also why does Koichi surround himself with such shady people? He hangs around thugs, delinquents, psychopaths, and perverts. No wonder his grades suck.

The dragonair episode had a dude pointing a gun at ash's face. Maelstrom your judgement seem kind of shortsighted. In the first gen games Giovanni says nothing about reform, in fact he leaves more out of shame than anything else since he got his butt handed to him by 10 year olds. HG/SS retconned it so that he left to get stronger but then got his ass kicked again and left to lord knows where. Special is its own canon so I'm not sure why you're expecting Generations to reflect it in any way. The Viridian gym was closed most of the time and it's quite possible that Giovanni seized control of it in secret, and never disclosed his identity to the public. Hardly anyone in the gen 1 games seems to know he's the gym leader either, minus the gym disciples of course.

Yup. Big hype killer for me personally. Really hoping for a real anime based off the games one day.

Wereruff hate legitimately rustles my jimmies. people really want their pokemon as safe and mundane as possible apparently, but worse than that is that they let youtubers and subcultures they otherwise have nothing to do with ruin good things for them. And not every freakin anthropomorphic animal is a "sonic fan character hur hur." which gets thrown around on like every new mammal pokemon resembling such now. I'm glad we finally have a werewolf pokemon. The fact it coincidentally resembles Iori Yagami makes it even better.

Best region? Lay off the drugs miss. The Kanto pandering was one of the worst things about gen 6, which seems to be an ongoing trend unfortunately, though at least alolan forms are actually interesting and add to the region's identity.That said, no one would complain if some post kanto pokemon got alolan forms too. Gastrodon much? TBH he should've been one of the first with an alolan form considering the whole differing by region thing which GF seemingly forgot about. These new leaks are hype. Ash looking derpy in that pose but his outfit looks alright and fits his usual color scheme oddly enough. The new UBs look pretty crazy, with one looking like an Enemy Stand and the other s lost villain off Samurai Jack or Symbiotic Titan. Rockruff's evos are cool, though I definitely prefer the Night one as the day one is too mundane for my taste and the Night one looks psychotic. Neither of them really look rock type though...am I the only one who feels that way?

Alolan Oak is his cousin. It's a different guy. Only reason Gio didn't have a dark type is because gen 1 didn't have any dark types lol.

Type: Null's name seems like such a silly thing to complain about considering it's an artificial mon. I wouldn't be surprised if there were similar Type: ___s.

Which would they be? Remember that it has to be a pokemon they don't use normally on their teams. Julia: Oriorico Cheer is just perfect for her. It's basically Julia in pokemon form, minus the ability to explode. Florinia: Probably Ferrothorn, as I feel it fits her robotic, distant personality with its steel typing and thorns relating to her keeping others at a distance. Corey: Weezing since Corey likes to rely on poisonous gas and weezing looks miserable which fits Corey's personality. Shelly: Leavanny! While it'd probably make her too easy, I think the dynamic of swadloon -> leavanny fits shelly's development really well. Plus Shelly is a good vibes person and Leavanny is such a warm and inviting pokemon. Shade: Gotta go with Dusknoir. Dusknoir drags souls to the underworld and Shade was seen taking Corey's soul when he died. Dusknoir even has the midsection mouth just like Shade does in his battle sprite. Kiki: Mienshao I believe...it certainly does have the wise teacher look to it, and fits Kiki's aesthetic nicely. Aya: I'd use salandit's evo if we knew it, but for now I'll just settle with Venomoth I guess. TBH it's kind of hard to find one to fit her. Serra: Alolan Ninetales for sure. Noel: Drampa. Remember that Noel is an orphan, so I think him finding a sort of parental figure in Drampa would be neat. Radomus: Hypno, since he hypnotized El. Kind of hard to find one for him since Gardevoir and Gallade fit him so well. Luna: Sableye IMO. She hangs out in the iolia valley, it always has this Cheshire grin and is a playful trickster just like luna. Samson: Machamp of course. Charlotte: Rapidash I suppose. Terra: Krookadile, since she's actually a part of team meteor and Krookadile fits her RAWAAAR ishness as well. Ciel: Mega pidgeot is the only other flying mega whose grace and aesthetic fits her IMO. Cal: I'll go with Turtonator here, as its dragon typing plays off Cal's inferiority complex with his brother, and Turtonator sort of keeps Magmortar's tough n ugly aesthetic. Blake: Cloyster, as his water typing plays off his sense of superiority against his brother and cloyster kind of looks like a jerk, which of course Blake is.

To Lesser Depths(shade's gym): the dark, gutteral sound is so perfect for the gym's atmosphere. It sounds oppresive, bleak, and chilling, like you're just on step away from death. Supposedly it's just the gym theme reversed with some additional changes but it works so effectively. Atmosphere: mild(Viridian Forest remix): regarded as the most frustrating route in the game(I like it though minus the lag lol), this music certainly eases the nerves and is one of GC's best route remixes IMO. It's very soothing but without being slow and gives focus to all the right instruments. Battle: A strong enemy(Deoxys Remix): Not the actual name(it's simply called battle misc. which is lame) but this battle theme has a great build up that let's you know from the start that you're about to get your butt kicked(or hopefully kick some butt instead). First time I fought Cal and this came on, I was like, "oh crap boss battle!" Atmosphere: Light Realm(Dark Cave Remix): Really memorable for the point of the game where it plays. Also dark cave is my favorite GSC tune, so it's nice to have a nice remix of it. Reverse Gym(Shade's theme): Really intense sounding and fitting for who could be considered Reborn's Disc 1 Final Boss. It's a clever use of medium(by reversing the standard gym theme) and tops off one of the most memorable gyms in the game.
