I wasn't here for the old Reborn, having joined in early 2015 after finding the game in late 2014 when I was looking for fangames to play. But I find it interesting that people here are saying the forums used to be more strict, since from other posts I've seen I've gotten the opposite impression. Looking at threads from 2010 when the forums were first made, it seems like there was a lot of conflict early on. I also remember either Ame or someone else saying rules started being enforced more later due to it "becoming like 4chan". I can't find it now, but I remember looking at a thread from 2010 about a mod quitting, and this upset one user who urged people to "make Reborn the way it once was" or something like that, and then a former mod told that user "dude, it's just Pokemon" and then that user insulted the mod. I haven't really seen something like that happen in modern Reborn times. I feel like if something like that happened today, the mods would have handled things better and it wouldn't have gotten that out of hand. Since I always assumed the old Reborn was a lot of anarchy from what I've heard and read, I'm really curious about how it was more strict back then.

I think Karen could potentially be Flying, since her catchphrase is "Little dove" and one of her spells allows her to fly. If she is Flying though, I do think she'd have a Psychic/Flying type like Xatu. My hypothesis used to be Crescent could be either E8 or Gym Leader, but I think she's too powerful to be a Gym Leader. She's been hyped up a lot, more than any Gym Leader has. She also has Mewtwo now, and I definitely think we're going to be facing it when we battle her. We've battled legendaries before, but as individual super bosses and not on a trainer's full team. I think the Psychic leader is the psychic healer in GDC.

Mr. Mime is named as such due to a mistranslation. The original Japanese name, Barrierd, doesn't mention gender at all. Also, pink wasn't always viewed as a feminine color. In the 1920s, fashion magazines viewed pink as masculine and blue as feminine. I don't see a problem with female Mr. Mime or male Mienshao having flowers either way though.

Items in the key items pocket don't display how many you have, unfortunately. I do have a variable called "Marble Count" that goes up by 1 every time you obtain one. The place where Marbles will be used will be in episode 4, but you won't have access to every marble until the postgame. However in addition to the big reward for finding all of them, there will be smaller rewards for every ten you find. There are actually 2/4 Universe Fragments currently available (5 technically as the scientist in the research institute who you can do sidequests for also has one, but the player only needs to find the other four). This is also a quest not finishable until the postgame.

A trainer sprite of Crescent existed in Rejuvenation's characters folder up to I think V5. It's not there anymore, I assume because she hasn't been battled yet (a lot of others that haven't been battled or met yet also used to be in the folder) and/or will be updated. My current hypothesis is that she's a Psychic type E8 member.

I would've made the chance higher than 10%, but since it was a script given to me and not one I made myself (I have no coding knowledge), I'm kind of scared of changing it in any way in case I end up messing something up. That being said you can send me your save file and I can give Regenerator to Slowpoke. I have no problem doing this for people as often as requested/needed.

A common theory is that there's also a younger Lin in addition to the adult one. Back on the online league, during a battle between Ikaru and Lin, after Lin lost she said "Come and find the real me". A sprite of a younger Lin also exists, and a silhouette of that young Lin was in the title screen of E13. Sprite of younger Lin is here, third row down at the right under Christmas Luna.

Wait. After the above reply, I decided to test evolving an Electabuzz just to make sure, and found out Electirizer couldn't be used, only given. This also happened with some other evolution items. I re-uploaded with this fixed, so Electabuzz should be able to evolve now. I made a mental note to remember to set the usability outside of battle for the items like this that would be new to ep 3, since I made the same oversight in ep 1 with the Prism Scale, but I still managed to forget. XD

He said two in E15 too.

You have to use the Electirizer on the Electabuzz directly like an evolution stone. Link Stones are only needed to be used on Pokemon like Kadabra that evolve through trade without the need of a held item in the main games.

It's in episode 3 content, between the 7th and 8th gym. You can't miss it as you need to go there to progress the story.

She's a later character with the same ice powers and almost the same appearance and name (which is Angie as already said). Mentioning anything else about her would be spoilers.

Water edges not showing up is known and has been pointed out before, but I don't know why it happens.

I wasn't sure whether to get a Switch and BotW just yet or to wait, but everything I've seen and heard about it is tempting me to get it. Here's what it says:

I do think it's more likely to be a new character (maybe the "Raw Evil" shadow). From what we know about her, I think Crescent doesn't believe in the prophecies and is trying to prevent us from getting involved in them (she said the future isn't set in stone no matter how many times people try to carve it). Although we've only seen her going after Team Xen and not the Arceus cult, I don't think she'd like the Arceus cult any more than she does Team Xen. I think she's on her own side. I mentioned before in a theory thread I did she seems like a "Chaotic Good" character.

I think Madame X and Gardevoir's only connection would be that they're enemies. Kanon attacked Gardevoir after saying the masked woman told him those people would bring destruction to the world. So I don't believe that Madame X and Gardevoir are working together, or that Gardevoir is Madame X's Pokemon. If I had to guess at Gardevoir's trainer, I'd say either a new character or Crescent, seeing as Crescent is able to talk through her Gothitelle and seems to be a Psychic-type trainer. Or maybe she's able to speak the same way Braixen is, through Blakeory technology. I agree about Madame X trying multiple times to stop the catastrophe. Assuming the locked building in Kugearen is hers since she takes the journal away from us when we're about to read the savior's name, she also mentioned an old guy setting up a disaster. The light and shadow prophecies can be found in two different places: the Hidden Library and Kristolica Palace (the name of the mansion in the sewers). At Blacksteeple Castle, there's also a statue that goes into detail about the shadow prophecy specifically, mentioning what each shadow represents (Raw Evil, Betrayal, Obsession, and Greed).

@having one Pokemon: she does now, but until V7 or V8 she actually had a full team of 6: Yveltal, Volcarona, Goodra, Hydreigon, Garchomp, and Salamence. I do think Madame X is an endgame opponent, but I'm also not sure if she's the final villain. In the intro she asks how many times they plan on making the little girl (Maria) suffer, and she told Kanon Vitus/Indriad's cult would bring the destruction of the world. So while she's done a lot of bad stuff, it seems like there's worse than her. Though I have hard time envisioning Vitus/Indriad being stronger than Madame X. Going by the way he tells Anathea that he heard Pokemon were dangerous, it kind of sounds like he doesn't have Pokemon at all. Since he seems like just a pawn to the Gardevoir, I'm guessing the final battle against the Arceus cult won't be against him. Maybe it'll be against the Gardevoir, or its trainer if it has one. Also, something I just realized is that according to Kanon Madame X said she could only rescue either him or Salamence, but she has a Salamence on her team. It may just be coincidence, but what if she lied and that Salamence is Kanon's? . o .

Waterfall isn't available yet. The only field move TM/HM in the current version is Rock Smash.

See this convo and this convo for info about Pokemon with three possible abilities. Basically, third abilities can only be found in the wild (10% chance IIRC), and you need to send me your save file for me to give the Espurr Own Tempo, since I'm not sure how to make hidden abilities appear as normally as regular abilities.

Yeah, levels at which Gen 1-6 Pokemon learn moves still goes by ORAS. I did add new moves to those that gained them in Gen 7 (ex: Bellossom now learns Quiver Dance), but for the levels where moves are learned I kept them the same since that's over 700 to go through and check and adding the Gen 7 moves, abilities, and Pokemon + changing TM data already burned me out x . x

Caz also said starting February he'd be working two jobs as well as going to university just to be able to eat food, so he'd have less time to work on it. It's probably best not to expect it to come out this year considering Caz will be kept busy a lot by his personal life.

You can battle Hardy if you do Garrett's missions with pursuing the rogue branch of Black Foxes. If you forgive Nova and read the secret diary, when in Aurora's dimension at the second dialogue choice (not the one where she asks what a hero is, but the one after) you'll get an extra option "She saved Shiv's life". Then Aurora will stop revenging against Nova, saying it's not her place to deal justice.
