ULTRAAAA! ULTRAAAA! ULTRAAA!...Sun and MoonIce Cream Sand Witch replied to ProjectIceman's topic in Pokémon Fan Club Do you have any source for this? I moved your thread to the Wasteland thinking it was intended as a joke post, but it seems like you really did see/hear somewhere about there being Sinnoh remakes. I haven't found anything about it through Serebii, and the only link I can find is on a wiki called Fantendo, which contradicts itself by saying they're coming out in March 2018 in one section of the page and on another section saying they come out in October 2017. It also lists the predecessors as Sun and Moon, which isn't true as Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the next games to come out, so those would be its predecessors. The fact that the wiki is both the only source I can find and none of the big Pokemon fan sites have mentioned it along the wiki being called "Fantendo" makes me think this is a fan's idea of what the Sinnoh remakes should be like, and not actual upcoming games.

Small things you dislike about Pokemon fan-games in general.Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to Norin's topic in Fan-game Exposé Re: the comments about randomized Pokemon attributes and hindering movesets: there are certain qualities of a Pokemon (ability, IVs, gender, nature, probably more that aren't coming to mind right now) that are randomized if you don't set them. This isn't a bug; it's just how Essentials works. For learnsets, if you don't set those for a Pokemon, than the Pokemon will have the latest four moves it can learn through level up. Most people (including me) don't bother to set that kind of data for the regular NPC trainers (except in special circumstances) and only do so for boss battles. Re: the thread topic, one thing that I've always been critical of both in the main series and fangames is using enemy team grunts as roadblocks when we could just battle our way through them. This doesn't work well when you consider how contradictory it can make a game when doing this: if it's an area you're not supposed to be in yet, your character will just turn around and listen when the grunt(s) say(s) to get lost, but if you're supposed to be stopping an attack or infiltrating a base, your character will battle your way through the guards. This just makes me question: if I'm battling my way through these grunts, what's stopping me from battling my way through those other grunts? The first example that comes to mind for the main series is those Rocket grunts who make you pay a toll to pass through their gate to the Lake of Rage. Why do we let them extort us when we should easily be able to take care of two grunts? There are a few cases where grunt roadblocks work: -if we don't know these are members of Team X because we haven't had any fights with them yet -if we know they're from Team X, but we're waiting for backup or a strategy before proceeding because it's their main base or a major attack and we'll be severely outnumbered if we go in alone -if there really are too many guarding somewhere to fight alone. This almost never happens, but if using grunt roadblocks is necessary, there could be at least ten guarding somewhere as opposed to one or two. -if we know they're from Team X, but right now we're not concerned with these grunts blocking off a building or path because the team is actively attacking somewhere else and battling them away from every path or building would waste time. See: Saffron City in Kanto and Goldenrod City in Johto, where they were blocking off several buildings but Silph Co./Radio Tower were the highest priority. -if they're running an operation that on the surface seems legal or even good and we need to report it and be strategic about it so we don't look like a criminal by barging in and attacking them. (I imagine this to be case with the BCC in Spork if the player does happen to interact with the guard at the entrance after the ranger leaves, although the ranger takes care of reporting everything to Chelsea) However there are plenty of examples of grunt roadblocks where it's like "Why can't I just battle you to get you to leave?" This is also more of a personal preference, but I don't like not having infinitely rebattleable trainers since grinding on wild Pokemon takes 50 eternities and level grinding isn't something I enjoy doing. This isn't much of a problem anymore since I can open most games in RPG Maker and set my levels to whatever I want, but not everyone can do that and there are still some games where I have issues opening them either because the game uses an older version of RPG Maker than mine or because the game deletes an encrypted archive when trying to open it which also deletes all game data within RPG Maker.

That's a different code. That code's for skipping the S.S. Oceana.

I'm not sure if you saw the edit to my post yesterday, but after the follower Pokemon in Rejuv came out, I re-uploaded with the Gen 7 Pokemon overworld sprites from there into Spork. It's still not all of them, but it's a lot more.

Happy birthday! Here's an ice cream sandwich

In the past, Ame has responded to questions of users asking if they could translate the game by saying that she's okay with it, but that it's best to wait until the final release to avoid having to re-translate past content every episode due to possible dialogue changes.

There are a few that I got from Rejuvenation's graphics folder. Other than that, no one has made overworld sprites for the other Gen 7 Pokemon for Essentials to the best of my knowledge, so I have to use Poke Balls for now. EDIT: @Paul25: an hour after I posted this, the Follower Pokemon for Rejuv came out, which has more Gen 7 Pokemon overworld sprites XD So I've re-uploaded with those added. This re-upload also includes the Pheromosa event, which I can now do. This event is in Virima City.

This took a bit longer than I thought it would due to technical issues with Pokemon Essentials that I wasn't aware of, but thanks to a tutorial I managed to get around those. ADVENTURER CRADILY, DREAMER MUSHARNA, AND MUSICAL CORSOLA These are three of many Pokemon you'll meet during Spork's longest sidequest, which will happen in the postgame. It's long enough that's it's separated into chapters, like the Looker Bureau in XY and the UB missions in SM. After some thought, I came to the conclusion that since you can play as the Holiday Pokemon, why not let players play as these Pokemon too? This is a bit different from Holiday Pokemon since you don't need to battle them in order to become them. All you have to do is speak to them and say yes when they ask. Unlike Holiday Pokemon, the color schemes for these aren't their shiny variants. In the Pokedex, these are scripted as separate species, and there are more reasons for that than just their names and color schemes. These three here are some of the allies you'll have during the sidequest they're part of. You'll also have enemies. In addition, as mentioned in my previous post this re-upload also updates Cryogonal's learnset to Gen 7.

She did say at one point that she was iffy about adding z moves. It was sometime later (I think a few weeks) that she decided to add them.
-
Z-moves have been confirmed, and a public release was made from Marcello's Z-move scripts for other people to use.
-
Scizor seems almost confirmed since in the online league, Scizor was Titania's ace and every gym leader has used their ace from the online league. If she has a mega, I'd assume it would be Scizor.

I didn't know Cryogonal got Ancient Power in Gen 7. The lists I were using for which Pokemon have new moves were probably incomplete then. Cryogonal's learnset has been updated to Gen 7. A re-upload will be coming later today when I finish something I'm currently working on, which will have an announcement when the re-upload is done.

The thought of going through all 800+ Pokemon to adjust their learnsets is X_X I did update the ones that learned a new move in Gen 7 (ex: Bellossom got Quiver Dance) along with giving them their new moves, and I also updated Absol because half of its learnset was missing and I figured while I was fixing that I should give it its most recent one. I'm also not sure which all Pokemon had the levels they learned moves at changed. But since you mentioned Cryogonal, I'll update Cryogonal's learnset. For the ranger missions, police cases, etc. you just keep what you find during them.

I've merged all three of these into one topic. Since these three threads deal with the same topic (trading Pokemon) and were made within a short period of time by a single user, it would be better to just have one thread where all the Pokemon are listed and all trade discussion is had at once. Also, since there have been a lot of double posts here which I've merged and warned for: please do not post twice in a row in such a short timeframe. If you need to post again in a short period of time, you can use the edit button, and if you're replying to a specific person and need them to see an update to your situation, you can tag them in the edit.

I changed some early game things in recent re-uploads, like reducing the size of some maps that had too much space, fixing some bugs and oversights, and changing some music. Other than that, there are no more planned changes to already existing content. I am working on something right now that I might be able to show today or tomorrow, but it's not something you'll miss if you start a file now, since it's able to be done permanently/infinitely at any point in the game. For a point to halt the run for the next ep 4 update, I'd suggest the 11th gym, since the trainer sprites after the 11th gym aren't finished, and sprite progress is currently on hold due to Palletite having IRL issues. EDIT: I forgot to mention, there will also be sprite rvamps for characters from before ep 4, like Crolea, though they're not for any specific episode.

I don't think I know how to program in something like that :S I have zero coding experience and it sounds kind of complicated (I can barely even get simple scripts to work right; when I tried to do the Water Bubble ability it ended up causing every battle turn on both sides to be skipped, making battles an infinite loop). I could ask someone, though. I do have plans for a nature changer in the future though, which will work differently than Reborn + Rejuvenation's in that it allows the player to choose the nature instead of being random. I'm not 100% sure where I want to place this nature changer yet, but it is something I want to do in the future if I'm capable of doing it.

What Roar (me) thinks your Duel Spirit would beIce Cream Sand Witch replied to Wolfox's topic in General Discussion It's been a while since I've Yu-Gi-Oh'd. I watched the main anime up to the end of the arc with the Egyptian God Cards, and saw a few episodes here and there afterwards (I remember Kaiba dueling someone named Siegfried, and the beginning of the Waking the Dragons arc). I also saw GX up to I think the second season? I don't remember many cards other than the iconic ones like Blue Eyes White Dragon, Dark Magician, etc. My favorite card is Kuriboh from what I remember. If more info about me is needed, there's the about me in my profile.

I actually didn't know that Synchronize had any effects aside from giving the opponent the same status condition the opponent gives you. I haven't touched any data from any pre-Gen 6 abilities, so it may be that that effect of Synchronize just isn't programmed in Essentials, or it could be that I accidentally did touch some other ability data when putting in Gen 7 abilities without realizing it and caused it to lose that effect somehow. I checked the battle, move, and party-related scripts just now but couldn't find anything on that effect for Synchronize. I found the status ones but not the nature ones. If you send me your save file I can give you a Timid Kirlia.
