Some other possibilities I've thought of are 1) The Gardevoir is Crescent's. Crescent seems like a Psychic trainer and has talked through her Gothitelle before 2) Like Braixen, the Gardevoir has been given the ability to talk through Blakeory technology 3) The prophecy of light in the hidden library was written on a Gardevoir statue, and the prophecy of darkness is on an Absol statue. Maybe the Gardevoir and Absol on those statues depict a specific special Gardevoir and Absol, and this is that Gardevoir?

But you're not allowed to challenge the E4 if you don't have any badges.

How do we know he didn't challenge the gyms?

Earlier in the year they were showing extremely little and teasing a lot (tune in next time where we'll tell you to tune in next time for new info!), so I'm glad that's changed.

How many Pumpkaboo is the correct amount?

Blue isn't the only rival to have challenged the league. Wally, Barry, Bianca (although she changed her route), Cheren, N, Hugh, and Calem/Serena also did. Silver never explicitly mentioned challenging gyms, but since he got to the Indigo Plateau I assume he did.

Thanks to an amazing spriter known as Palletite, the trainer sprites for episode 1 have been completely redone! I've uploaded a 1.5 version that has the new sprites. (I also added bicycle music) Spriting/art is by far my weakest area, so I'm eternally grateful to Palletite for offering assistance! I hope you all love the new sprites as much as I do! The rainbow building you're thinking of is the candy shop in Reborn's Obsidia Ward. Rejuvenation doesn't have a candy shop.

@first bit I quoted: nothing that graphic happens in Reborn. @second bit: I remember reading that Game Freak gave permission for people to use their Pokemon materials. Also this game has been going for 4 years and there are tens of other fangames (maybe close to or over 100 even) that use Essentials.

Alolan Exeggutor: Heads or tails? More like heads ON tails. At first I wasn't sure about these Alolan forms, but I think they've already grown on me. Both the Sandshrew and Vulpix lines look cool, and Exeggutor is the newest meme. I might use Alolan Ninetales on my team. Gumshoos is literally Donald Trump. Except Donald Trump wouldn't like Gumshoos because its pre-evolution was imported to Alola from elsewhere. Minior's ability seems kind of like Stance Change, except instead of controlling the transformations it depends on its health. Its design reminds me of the spiky enemies from Kirby. Oricorio is another Pokemon I want on my team. I love all its forms. If Reborn ever does Gen 7, they should give the Electric cheerleader one to Julia. *insert "Why aren't the mantises Bug type" comment here* I'm guessing the trial captains and island kahunas will be the 8 gyms, then the island in the middle will contain the E4 and Champion equivalents. Z-moves look epic. Someone pointed out the Ginyu Force posing, and there's 5 Ginyu Force members... enough for them to be the E4 and Champ!

Agreed with Piano Girl for Ensemble Darkhorse. I looked up The Scrappy and I'd think Amaria would be closest? I haven't really seen anything positive said about her (so I'll be the first: I like her hair and the "If you're indecisive like 80% of America" comment), but I've seen a few negative things.

I remember it being said it's a straight shot from the last gym to the E4, and also from 17th gym to 18th gym. So that's probably partially why.

It's mentioned after getting Strength that some areas blocked by strength boulders are accessible and some aren't.

There's a house at the northeast part of Terajuma Shore. You need Surf to get to it.
