I have defeated both guys with many pokemon combinations, but there's one tactic that I use that always worked. -Don't attack his lileep, try to kill all eeveelutions first before facing the green beast; -Make sure the lileep is confused or sleeping, otherwise it will spam confuse ray; -After all the eeveelutions are dead, you should have 4 or 5 team members with you. Kill the Lillep; -Kill tangrowth and any other pokemon that comes after; -PROFIT -
I once wanted to name one of my pokémon "Panzerkampfwagen" but the name had too many letters. About your team, looks good so far, good luck.

The shinies are all awesome though I think there are too many black shinies already. Good work!

Skuntank's typing is really useful in this game full of psychic and poison-types. It's also quite bulky.

Fire types (with few exceptions) are usually a very good offensive type with great coverage, but their defenses range from average to weak. Adding another weakness could make pokemon of this type too frail to use in battle.

Unless you spend a whole day mining for rare bones and then sell everything, you won't have much money to abuse cotton candies. I think the price is fine.

The HM rock climb will require a badge to use it, but neither the badge or the HM are accessible. Good news is that recently, HMs have been modified so they can be erased like TMs, so it's not the traditional HMs that we all know and hate.

Scarfed Flareon with Flare Blitz makes a great suicidal bomber. IMO one of the hardest-hitting of all.

Would be so nice if those tutors taught ACTUAL moves, instead of "worry seed" and "block". *sigh* One can only dream.. Maybe Ame will add better tutors later on in the game?

I'd go for fighting. It is a very diverse type with many hard-hitting pokémon. You can also cover some obvious weaknesses (Psychic, Fairy, etc..) by adding mons such as Scrafty and Lucario. It's impossible to get stuck on a gym leader using fighting-types.

You can also downgrade to E12 (with 5th gen breeding mechanics) and breed Earthquake to whichever pokémon you want to (as long as it also can learn it through TM).
