  1. well sounds like salamence alone wasn't enough then I figure structures in the pokémon universe must be fairly resilient somehow
  2. I think she didn't have her pokémon? I don't remember correctly, really. But probably. Then again she is childish enough to just throw a tantrum Every princess needs rescuing every now and then and whatnot
  3. 10 in the european releases, so both are just as valid. Even then it's a pathetically small difference that really doesn't change my point in any way.
  4. Yes, elite 4 at age 9 is UNTHINKABLE! It's not like anyone from the main games became League Champion at age 10, right? So really this just means that the estabilished lore we're working with shows that it's possible (especially considering the said main character in theory learned everything during the one-year trip he made) for someone to be something much greater than E4 at an only slightly older age.
  5. Tl;dr I was going to add a hidden spot in the starter room that contained a hidden pokéball and flavor text about it being one of several smuggled pokémon that was left there as a gift by someone who really likes foxes. Inside there'd be an Eevee. Amethyst would be none the wiser, and assume the trainer brought their own starter along, register them and continue the game as normal. The Eevee event was going to be in a specific, hard to find tile, and as a reward the Eevee was a guaranteed shiny. Except finding that in RPG maker would take you literally five seconds and it wouldn't be worth hiding that just to have someone disclose it the same day as the beta release. So the idea was scrapped and since I really wanted to do something in regards to giving away exclusive pokémon (because I think that's a generally cool idea) I instead created the dragon tour. The problem really isn't that people are going to look for secrets, that's fine. The problem is that there are members of the community who openly use the development tools to find those secrets and often disclose them, making certain development easter eggs (like the mew inside a cage) easier to find, and other secrets that really should be found by accident or merit, fairly simple to pinpoint.
  6. It is, yeah. I wasn't really addressing this point insomuch as commenting because of a much older post I made at some point about game development and how it was hard for Reborn to have a lot of cool(er) stuff because it usually gets picked apart fairly quickly (which is what prevented me from, as I initially intended, adding a secret Eevee starter among other things)
  7. which is why it sucks when threads like this give away the secret yay
  8. i hate how great the development team is seriously those guys are so amazing except kuro they suck
  9. It's not a spoiler. That's not an indication that she's a Gym leader - Especially considering she was the Dragon type leader and that has already been estabilished as someone else, not to mention other former leaders (Anna, Cain, Victoria, Fern) have already been mentioned as not being gym leaders in the game. So really all that proves is that Lin and Florinia aren't the same person because they're based on two different persons to begin with.
  10. There's also the fact that Lin was also a gym leader from Reborn who was based on an actual person and not a character Oops
  11. 1 and 3 I'll leave to the others. Shade was known for just "appearing, doing his thing, and then leaving." So I guess he's actually more talkative in the game. And no, I won't marry you, I've had my heart broken too many times. I won't ever trust again. unless you have green eyes, then we can talk
  12. ...But no longer! So, you guys remember the bug bin? Or maybe ye ole wall of bugs? Well, I have an announcement. As of today, the development team has finished an almost year-long drive to getting every single bug in the wall tested, documented and fixed - And today, I'm more than proud to announce the E16 will be coming with a fix for all 214 bugs we have documented up to now! So go ahead and find us some more so we don't lose our jobs by E17, will you? Naturally, I haven't done this alone - In fact, I've had a very minor part on this due to my health issues intervening, and instead a cast of people have stood up to the plate and took charge into fixing those bugs. I'd really like to thank each of you individually, so I'm actually going to do just that: DashingStorm, Zumi, Jericho and Dan - You've all helped for different amounts of time and to different extents, but you all helped. I'm happy to have had all of you as part of my team for as long as I was able to, and I hope I was able to import whatever modicum of knowledge I've attempted to in the process. Your help was honestly paramount to getting this drive as far as it has, and I want all four of you to know that I'm eternally grateful for your assistance when I needed you to help. That said, there has been one member of the development team who has shown outstanding capability in the bugfixing zone and has, time and time again, managed to impress me with his dilligence and dedication, being that this thread is almost entirely so I can expose him publically for his accomplisments. Marcello, AKA Mumpelfink, has single-handedly fixed 163 out of the 214 bugs listed all on his own. His continuous work and support even when - and especially when - I was indisposed due to my own health issues, his dedication to his work, and his technical ability, all make me incredibly proud to have started the dev team and show, in my eyes, that its formation was a success. I don't ask a lot of you all - You know, except all the time - but I'd like all of you to add your two cents and make sure that he knows that his work is not unnoticed, and most of all, it's appreciated. As always, thank you all for your time, and I hope this extra glimpse of the things to come in E16 have been enough to stave off your hunger for at least one and a half minutes!
  13. From another thread: Basically this, with the addition that in truth it boils down to if my team will have the time to do it. Honestly, I'm fairly confident that I can implement anything new that comes in the new generation as long as it is within RPG Maker XP's capabilities, however, there are other, more important implementations and Gen 7 as it stands is not even within our to-do list, so when I say it's a huge maybe, then I mean that it's a huge, colorful, maybe.

  15. Let's clear things up here Literally none of the above is confirmed. Legendaries are more than likely a thing for post game (almost assuredly mostly because one of our goals is to make every pokémon catchable and that means legendaries would probably end in post game due to their sheer strenghts) "- A little place where Gen 7 Pokemon will be" This is 100% not true. If Gen 7th is implemented, there's no predetermined place for its pokémon to appear. It most certainly won't be in one specific spot (Unless it does end in post game, though at that point they may instead be added retroactively to different parts of the game, who knows) and above all, it's not a confirmed thing that gen 7 will be in Reborn to begin with. 7th pokémon -> Not gonna happen Speculation is fine. But don't say anything is "confirmed" until post game actually rolls around. Nothing is "confirmed". This is a personal project with a volunteer staff. Things may or may not be implemented simply because we did or didn't feel like doing them. Saying something is "confirmed" adds peer pressure to the features that the game has to have and gives what should be volunteer work for helping's sake somewhat of a bittersweet aftertaste.
  16. Okay. Here's the official answer:
  17. All that said here's the real reason Thank you for contacting the Reborn Development team, please forward all inquiries to amethyst.liddel@gmail.com Everyone has pretty much already listed the reasons but I'm not about to skip the opportunity
  18. I have an accessory that's not mine per se. I had someone close to me pass away a few years ago, and I kept a ring I gave them as a memento.
  19. Reborn is to be played however you enjoy it. The only caveat is that if the game breaks due to the cheating there's no guarantee any support will be giving - It's effectively voiding the warranty. That said when online rolls around there will also be something of an anti-cheating system implemented with it that will remove unfairly added pokémon (until those are made available) from anyone who tries to battle online with them.
  20. I wonder which one I am. No really who could it be Who could it beeee Have I gotten the point through yet Right. It's obvious.
  21. I'm smurt as fuuuuuuuuuuuuck brah EDIT: Since people are answering this seriously, I'm going to elaborate. I'm honestly the most intelligent person I know. I have an amount of knowledge on a majority of topics and am quick to educate myself when I don't. But if anything, what I take pride in the most is my ability and desire to share what I know with others. I have a very unique teaching style and - there are like 5 people in this community, Amethyst included, who can correct me if I'm wrong - it's a very effective and personal style. I like that I'm personable enough to approach all my "students" as my friends, because I know a lot of people who can't separate that very well.

    Victini?

Oh, that's easy. Just use strength on the truck and Victini is under it.
